It's known bug for Android.
As far as I know,,
1. Don't do anything else until the screenshot is saved.
2. If it stuck, take another screenshot, the second shot will override the first one.
At least that's how I deal with it... hope it helps.

XDA app or thread problem: 0 threads in forum

So the i777 forum has been on my favorite list since I got the app, and loads up when I open xda app.
But today when I click the forum, it shows 0 threads in it... its blank. I went to the main page and set it as subscribed again... then I had 2 of the same forum in my list; one with threads one without. I deleted the empty one and.... the other favorite became empty. This isn't nice! What's the problem?

Might as well. Nothing to lose. If the problem still exists, let us know. Are you running the latest version? May have something to do with it...who knows.

Yeah. I can't live without this app lol. I do find it kind of weird that the new ported forum needed its own favourite since it wasn't under AT&T blah blah general but its there and accessible in some way so I'm happy

S2 processor

Guyz do anyone here knows the reason y my phone is always in 200mhz even when every is app closed
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
ofc we do
When every app i closed, and no crazy background services running, the SII "downclocks" itself to preserve battery juice.
Mostly in sleep state. So dont worry, when u run some apps, not to mention 3d game its gonna "turn on" and use all of your 1200mhz.
cheers
I think he think it must 0 mhz
He is asking why its still at 200mhz..
To OP if you want to shut down your processor to 0mhz then turn ur phone off...
That 200 mhz is used by your system to run
Solved

It's because anything below 200 mhz will send the phone into the sleep of death, where it won't wake up.
I've downclocked my S2 many times and it's never happened.

You have got apps that are constantly using data, try to put most things on manual sync and go to accounts and sync in settings and turn it off for a start.
Get rid of any apps you very rarely use.

Wont stay off and battery drain

Hey i have two problems. My first is that sgs2 wont stay turned off. I just replaced the charging port and now it wont stay off. My second problem is that my phone has a very bad battery drain. In about 6hrs my phone is 20%. I used Gsam to check what was draing my battery life and it was my Kernel. My kernel is a siyah kernel and its for jb and it says one kernel rules all. Im running Task 650 Aokp jb 4.1.2. Also it gets really hot around the camera. Thanks in advance

Download BetterBatteryStats and charge your phone completely to 100%... leave the phone alone.. dont use it at all.. keep the wifi and mobile data on for 4 hours+ and post the dump.. check for kernel wakelocks.. partial wakelocks.. to see what is draining your battery..
P.S - some tips.. keep your sync off.. if you are using the fb app.. delete and use it from a browser..

I'm confused. Do you mean the power button has failed? Or what exactly do you mean by "it won't turn off"?
When I power my phone off it goes off. Then about 10 seconds later it just boots back up. I dont hit a button or anything.

You need to find out if the problem is hardware or firmware related. Since you did some work inside your phone, it may be hardware, but you can test this by flashing back to stock and see if the problem persists.
Also, you didn't say, but wondering if the power button works normally otherwise. For instance, can you use the three button combo to get into recovery, etc.
...and also wondering if you pull the battery then put it back in, will the phone stay off?
It works fine and also the three button combo. I will try to get back to stock bit I tryed something and it kinda worked.
I turned the phone off and locked the screen at the same time and it stayed off. The only bad thing is when i turn it back on it drains to 3% and is stuck in download mode. Since it is stuck in download mode I have to take my case off and the battery out

[Q] Unable to take screenshot

I am s-off, rooted, latest 2.04.6xx firmware, ZoneDNA rom, beast 5.6 kernel. Everytime I try to take a screen shot it comes up all distorted. It almost looks like a broken LCD looks. I've tried both the native way (power/volume down) and the Screen Shot it app (even tried the alternate method through the app) Any ides? Something else I need to do?

idk why it happens but screenshot er can fix that it has an option to fix it.
I wound up flashing back to the stock kernel after some issues with Beast 5.6 and that cured it.
