Always do the following AFTER installing the kernel:
1. Clear cache
2. Clear dalvik
3. Fix Permissions
If you get this message after booting up the kernel:
"The device has detected an application attempting ..."
Go to the "/system/app/" folder and delete the files that begin with "knox"

Everyone use this and profit!
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Edit: Is there a site already up for tweaks or is it still private cause I saw galaxyman say he messing around with some stuff? I forgot if the tweaks site was universal for all versions of the S3 kernel or if there was a specific box for sprint. If there was, never mind. Just want to see what settings galaxyman has been messing around with so far!
Way to get this out without even having the device ktoonez that's nuts!

Just a little warning, I made the voltages VERY conservative on the OC steps, so you will probably have to adjust the voltages to stop crashes and reboots if that occurs!!
Change Log 5.20.2013
1. Initial release
2. OC/UC/UV/OV are all active and working
3. Everything on the "General" screen are active and working except "Auto Hotplug"
4. Only thing active and working on "Extras" Screen is "Screen Off Profile Mhz" and "KThermal"
5. I will be adding all the items you see in KTweaker as soon as I can
Be aware that I am on AT&T and we have a locked bootloader so I can not run the kernel so be patient on fixes

Cus we have a locked bootloader, its been alright. Cant wait to start using my own kernel, lol.

I've never used your kernel before, but im greatly looking forward to it. Thanks for your work
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2

Nice work Ktoonsez this is the fanciest kernel on GS4 and I am sure it will continue to be the best one out there as it has been for Galaxy SIII. Its an honor to have your kernel in now Sprint GS4. Excellent work KT.

Thanks for this ktoonz... I've been running your kernels forever.
FYI - I flashed the MDL nag fix zip that someone had made after flashing this kernel and it broke Wifi. So I guess you'll have to manually freeze SEAndroid to fix it. Reflashing kernel fixed Wifi.

stoked to see what all the hype is about, thanks!:beer:
EDIT:
just noticed this is MDL, I'm on MDC...
will have to wait and flash when I get home from work and see what happens...

I'm on MDC only problem I see so far is I can't overclock higher than 1998 without locking up(if anyone figures out the trick let me know, I'd like to mess around with benchmarking overclocked). I'm wanting underclocking more right now anyway. Looking good sitting at 1566 Max and 81 Min

Really, that is very odd. Hopefully the few people that down loaded will chime in. No reason it wouldnt boot, unless there are multiple versions out there of firmware already?

Anybody got a link to the aboot.img? Ill redo the LOKI with it just to make sure I got the right one.
Here is the procedure using your PC with adb:
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/aboot of=/data/local/tmp/aboot.img
chmod 644 /data/local/tmp/aboot.img
exit

Dont use any of the S4 profiles. You can apply them but you'll likely encounter problens. Use KT v1 that's already up in Ktweaker. The new Shop thread will be up soon with newly revamped profiles. So be on the lookout for that.

For some reason I seem to be having the same issue on the S5 as my S4. The phone feels more laggy and feels like it has more touch latency even with stock settings than other kernels. I tried it and went back to Blaze, and Blaze is running noticeably smoother for me.

Can anyone please be really nice and tell me how to get max freq to stick? I choose 2.7 but it won't stick. Tried trickster mod, aero, and kernel tweaker so far but none will set past 2.5 for me.

Man...FAUX THAT!
Just joking
I think you're right about the mpdecision/intelliplug option. I read that in the illusion thread, but I'm not using illusion, so I spaced it. Thank you for your help(ran outta thanks today).
I'll purchase FAUX tomorrow.

Had to reinstall supersu after the kernel flash because i lost root. I was on 2.65 which patches the boot image i believe.
I reflashed supersu 2.65 and all was good.
Installed no problem and didn't lose root. Everything runs fine.
For now is very fast and stable. but i like to use kernel for 2 o 3 days to tase de perfomance. in less than 24h u can test for real.
not heather. test battery with data on. BT, wifi,WIFISHARE WORKING CORRECT.
So far so good, have had a couple of reboots. Overall it's been pretty smooth and fast though. Trying to find the perfect settings for my device.
I'm on Tapatalk, could you put link to download tab?

@malbert16442
You will implement the governor simple_emand on GPU?
Do you have any prediction?
Thanks dude.

That was my very first post on X.D.A...so I might of got carried away (obviously. ..since I was ignored). What I want to know is should I stay on Maverick 4.5 and flash the "All other Roms" kernel or install the latest Pure Rom (6.5?) And flash the other kernel? Sorry if I didn't phrase it right before. Thanks in advance.

Aero Kernel is a kernel for the Nexus 6. I am aiming for stability, smoothness, and slimness, while retaining a few select features I can't do without. I try to keep a stock-like source, and mostly just cherry-pick in features and fixes from the great developers of XDA that I deem necessary over stock. I will be maintaining 3 branches: Stable built by Uber Toolchains, Beta Built by Uber Toolchains, and Stable built by Uber Linaro Toolchains. To find the differences, please do your own research of the two, but the only major difference is the toolchain that the kernel is compiled with, the different versions have all the same features. Some just find one or the other better so I provide you with both options. Special thanks to @The Flash for his upstream source I used and his help. Also thanks to all the other amazing devs from which I cherry-picked from. Note that this is not in any way affiliated with any kernel control app (there is an "Aero Kernel Control", I have no affiliation with it or the respective dev whatsoever.)
Disclaimer:
I am not liable nor responsible for unusable and/or broken devices due to flashing my kernel. You are fully responsible for what you install on your device, including my kernel.

Its not implemented yet, i had lots of errors when i put it in . Once i get it working it will first be in a beta, then stable. And msm sleeper defaults at 4 cores during suspend, i can change this but it can easily be changed via kernel auditor mod or any kernel control app.

That's cool, this is a really good kernel. Best I've used so far. I've only used my phone for little over 30 minutes, but it has really good stand by time. Also been the only kernel I haven't had any freezes or lockups or any random reboots. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Hopefully it's a good while... The Ironactive cpu governor is good... So far your kernel is the only one that has it for the Nexus 6.

Ironactive is just interactive with the upstream CAF patches, which most kernels add anyways because they improve the governor quite a bit. No point to have two governors that do the same thing lol.

Whatever suits you. Flash is correct, it is essentially interactive, but slightly improved in my opinion. You can look over the C code and decide for your self. I just want to throw out the option of using it.
Looking forward to trying this kernel, but need to wait for the wifi tether fix. Thanks for giving us yet another option for our mighty whale!
