What does ''Full hardware key rebinding'' actually mean? Any imaginable configuration?
Great to see you here!!

awesome sh*t! Coming from SGS2, I refreshed the slimroms-Page every day to check if my favourite build is available for the M7. Just one thing: what's about the IR-Blaster? I know that it didn't work up to now on CM-builds.

Probably not yet. Stated looking at IR earlier, will see how it goes. HTC seem to have stuff all over the framework.

I try different Non-Sense Roms and now I try this one. Same problem here I cant get a WiFi Connection. Any Ideas? On Sense Roms no problems with WiFi connection.

Holy **** Slim Bean. I love it. The best Rom on Samsung Note 2. I am happy :good:

There were enough options for me, and the rom seems to be top-notch quality. I'm sticking to this.

OK.... Well we have 2 possibilities then. The WiFi firmware is from the developer phone and it's possible it has bands 12/13/14 disabled. Or alternatively we might beef to look at WiFi config and make sure N works. Either way is going to require some testing on your part. Easiest one would be to enable a/b/g on your router temporarily whilst leaving it on channel 13.

It has been reported in the CM10.1 development thread that WiFi ain't working with WEP security. Just to let everyone know.

1st
I wasn't able to establish a BT connection with my Sports Tracker heart rate belt even though it worked in CM10.1.
2nd
Is there any way to make keyboard bigger? I'm running with the default dpi of 360 but would really like to make the keyboard normal size. I'm using SwiftKey.

I haven't used SwiftKey in a while, but as far as I remember, I think there was a way in SwiftKey settings to adjust the key height, for both portrait and landscape modes. If I remember correctly it was in Advanced settings, I could be wrong though.

Woohooooooo! This is what I have been waiting for! Slim Bean was godly on my Galaxy Nexus!
I really want this device to get Dual Boot so we can get both an AOSP and Sense ROM on the phone for easy switching!
---------- Post added at 02:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:24 AM ----------
Nandroid backed up my TrickDroid ROM and just flashed SlimBean, can't wait to see what its like on this phone
LOVE IT! But for the moment I will be sticking with Sense, just until this is more mature, use my phone too much to run full time

PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

[ROM][CM10] Kang - 10/13/2012

Cyanogenmod 10
JZO54K
This is a build 100% based off Entropy512's fantastic work found here. Builds are made straight from the latest CM, THS & TheMuppets github repositories.
CM10 is still in early development. In Entropy512's own words: "You want to live on the bleeding edge, you're probably gonna get cut"
Visit his CM10 user thread first to read up
Check BBQLogs for some good general (read: not i777 specific) reference on CM10 changelogs: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#galaxys2/cm10/next
Usual disclaimers apply. I am not responsible for anything that occurs after flashing this ROM, including but not limited to:
- Spontaneous wetting of oneself
- Plastic in your underwear melting
- Increased popularity
Instructions
1. Enter CWM.
2. flash both the ROM and gapps
3. full wipe if coming from anything other than CM10
4. Reboot and dance the happy dance
Note: this is a native kang, not a ported ROM.

ROM download mirror: http://d-h.st/hIF Built: 9/12
gapps download link: http://goo.im/devs/Fusion777/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
Working:
ROM is pretty much fully functional, including:
Calls / MMS, BT Stereo Audio & Tethering, WiFI Tethering, Themes,NFC including Tapp functionality, Torch Toggle, MTP/Mass Storage mode
Glitchy:
* memory leak may motivate you to reboot every day or so
* Gallery doesn't sync with Picasa web
Special to this kang:
- 5Ghz Wi-Fi patch
- Meticulously clean and human-reviewed build environment
Extra Info
This ROM is the same as the nightlies, except for above changes & that I test it on my own phone before publishing. That said, numerous people suggest this Kang has a more reliable feel to it than the nightlies.
If you enjoy this ROM, don't forget to stop by Entropy512's user thread and share the love

good stuff, ill give it a try. thanks as always
My apologies.
It's his build, but just about a week newer since I'm not seeing him publish any CM rom images since 7/27. I.E. up to date CM/teamhacksung stuff
However he stated no major changes
Transmission Terminated.

True story. I personally dig having the newer 'minor' stuff. To each their own
May be a stupid question but when I click on the BBQ changelog then click on downloads. It says its for CM9?? Just wondering if they didnt change it to CM10? Thanks for doing this. Im going to give this a shot. Think I will hold off on this. Just checked the downloads again. One says galaxy s2 and the one underneath it says galaxy s2 att? I see the att one is cm7? Would like a little more info. Better to be safe than sorry!! Thanks.
Thank you for a more up to date version.
Edit: Going to flash now, dl speed for the gapps was low.
Is there a specific change log?
Sent from my SGH-I777
Thanks for doing this.. a lot of people have been itching for the newest..including me
The BBQ log site is definitely a little wonky you have to keep selecting 'cm10'. Don't let the change logs mislead you, this is definitely an i777 build with additional i777 updates by teamhacksung, the bbqlogs don't reflect this.
I'm looking for a more appropriate composite change log for our devices and will update OP when I find it.
The gerrit one http://review.cyanogenmod.com is fairly well organized but again not filtered by our device.

As stated in OP: "No customization, cherry picks, mods, etc. Just pure i777 CM10 goodness"
Right now your best bet is browse the github changelogs repo by repo. Presently looking for a better aggregating changelog source. But don't hold your breath

Google CM10 and you'll have your screen shots. Its a stock looking rom. You can picture it in your head.
Is anyone having a brightness issue? My brightness is about 50%, no auto. Anyways, is is a lot brighter on the home screen and when you go to an app the brightness is lower? To proof this, when you go to the home screen, and go to the recent apps the brightness is normal in the windows of the apps

I see a list of them do we need them all? I assume just the Slim_Gapps.4.2.2.build.5.x) to get this ROM going correct?
Thanks
Awesome. Is this really fully functional? I'm assuming there are some bugs...is there a list anywhere?
Running great so far.
I installed with just the slim gapps package.

Sweet can't wait to get home and flash this
Sent from my Galaxy S4.
If you are curious on the "addons" grab the AIO package. Careful flashing another gapps package when at a non stock DPI, play store will error out. Ours is modded for all DPI.
I need a list of bugs from you all, to compare with Sprint's version. I dont have this device, I have Sprints GS4
Sprints bugs are bluetooth headset audio, and when WiFi and Mobile networks is checked in Location Access, GPS acts up on 3rd party apps. When unchecked its fine for these apps.
DPI?
how do you change the DPI i followed the directions in the setting but it did nothing icons are way too small
I've yet to run into a bug. this runs beautifully so far and the customizations are great. excellent job.
SUPER DIGGIN THIS!!! SO HAPPY!!!
One question, how can I turn off the capacitive key lights?
Sadly MTP still doesn't work on this rom with macs
Can we enable a nav bar in this ROM? I know we cannot in CM but can in AOKP, Carbon, etc.

never mind you have to set the DPI higher than 320 i have it at 441 but there is a space below the Google search bar but that can be fixed using a launcher like nova it looks just like stock
phone calls work fine very clear no issue there. LTE works and is fast. MMS and SMS work fine. the built in led notification works except the always on setting. Camera works fine just when recording video at 1080p the video looks squeezed together but is fine during playback.
only issue is gps had the phone on and outside for about 10mins and no lock. will try long if i can
---------- Post added at 03:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:48 AM ----------
so no luck with gps does anyone have a fix? also for those that don't know if you're using a 64gb memory card you have to format it to fat32.
and bluetooth audio seem fine
It looks like the dpi should be 480.
Just so you guys know, BT and headset phone audio don't work. Not sure about A2DP. Obvious CM bugs.
You guys are awesome downloading now I have you on all my phones at one point or another

If you want your lockscreen to look like the screenshot, you'll have to go to Settings - Interface - Lock screen and make adjustments in there. I haven't tried it, so there may be another area you need to modify. You'll need to make sure "Screen Security - Show slider before secure unlock" is on and I suspect that you'll also need to modify notification drawer to have the row of icons above the carousel.

Is their any way to make the FONTS bigger? This ROM is cool but the FONTS are so small you can barely see anything on your phone...

You'll need to go into Interface-General-LCD Density and change it there. I changed mine to 468.
Can't turn on NFC
Anyone else having a problem with NFC? I can't seem to turn it on. I can check the NFC checkbox which then makes the text grey. It stays like that for some time but eventually, it unchecks itself and text turns back to white.

Yeah I am too. I just stays greyed out.
I am also getting some funky colors on the camera. The ffc has a greenish tint and the regular camera is has a purple tint.

I don't take many pictures with the camera but I checked and I do see a purplish tint with the ffc. But, I don't see any tints with the regular camera.

Innnnn. Downloading now
I fell in love with BlissPop, now this? all this lollipop goodness is awesome!
Hell yea!
Aww Yisss
Downloading now... will report back
Already booted and running. Rom is buttery smooth and everything that should be working is working. LTE/Data is functional on the first boot. NFC still borked. GPS locked with no issues. Bluetooth with my Moto 360 appears to be working as it should be. Only thing I've seen so far that's kinda weird is with the DPI. If you look in the top right of the posted photo, the DPI has the buttons in the settings area super tiny. Otherwise it's totally on-par with CM12 right now. Nice work! Can't wait to see what direction this one will go in!
Edit: Instead of saying "no sim card" the lockscreen now says, "SIM/RUIM IS PERSO LOCKED - SPRINT". I find that funnier, somehow. Lol
Question...
Is screen cast broken in all of cm 12 builds? It work from the chrome cast app but not from the pull down
Does this support GSM network ???
Gonna try this out later today! Hoping no contact or dialer fcs.

I tried to Flash the Candy Rom tried Network App and tried to change the network to GSM and unfortunately It just keeps flickering and its not able to select GSM so I am hoping this is how CM12 Roms would act up. I guess reporting this issue to CM team they may find a fix.
I'm in love! Thank u

Everything works and I like the DPI if you install SwiftKey and it's funky set the DPI to 480
