[Q] THL W8 Bricked? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
please help me out because I'm desperate.
Yesterday I received a THL W8 mobile phone and I flashed it with the ROM reported on this thread.
Once done, my SD card wasn't recognized by the phone, so I decided to flash the same ROM again.
Unluckily, my bad, I didn't uncheck the PreLoader tick and as result now the phone doesn't boot at all.
The PC recognizes it and the drivers are ok, but when I try to flash a ROM, any ROM, I get different errors.
With SP Flash Tools version "SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1304.0.119" the bottom bar fills red fully (100%) but after about 40 seconds it gives me the following error:
S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)
With the SP Flash tools version "AntiBrick_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.0.sn85" 3 seconds after the bottom bar gets filled in red, the following error is returned:
SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8200)
[Platform Error] The load and target are inconsistent!
I've also tried to flash the stock ROM but with the same bad results. More, I tried to do a reset with both the aforementioned Flash tools versions with success, but after that whenever I try to flash the phone with any ROM, I get the same errors as before.
Since the PC recognizes the phone I'm kinda sure it can be restored, but apart what I tried already, I'm out of ideas.
Any help is welcome
Thank you guys
Cheers
Heide

really? no one really answered the poor guy, the phone ended up bricked for good after all

SP Flash tool - Completely Dead Phone (UMI X2)

Hi, I was trying to use Flash tool and Don't know what happend but My Phone is completely DEAD right now even power button is also not working no screen is there (just blank phone).
I am having UMI X2 2GB rom, 32 gb internal memory, 1.5 GHZ (MT6589T) Model.
I tried to use SP Flash tool to recover my phone. Firstly I tried to format the phone, After that I tried to run the correct scatter file for MT6589 (from one of the ROM Posted under UMI-X2).
Drivers for the SP Flash tool is loaded correctly (into my Windows 8 Pc). I was previosly getting error as follow : SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8200)
[Platform Error] The load and target are inconsistent!
Now, after searching a lot I found that its something wrong with SP Flash tool version.
So I downloaded SP Flash Tool V3.1304.O.sn119 version. After that I am trying to "Download" the rom (with the correct scatter file for my ROM). but its only showing me RED Bar (with 100%) and after that it does nothing. Its neither showing me any error nor its continuing the process.
I am in serious problem here. Please help me out.
Thanks in advance!

Necro thread...
I have the same issue.
A couple of days ago the phone just started turning off / locking up when off, and having great difficulty tuning on... i.e. pulling out the battery for a minute or a few times.
Now the phone won't turn on at all. They only sign of life is the charging animation when you plug it in.
Prior to all this, there appeared a window in Chinese with some options. my GF (who's phone it is) just pressed something, no idea what. But she said something about 'drawing on the screen'??? sound like something locked up and the previous frame wasn't deleted from the frame buffer before redrawing the new one... I have no idea.
Anyway, I tried going into recovery to see if there was anything I could do there, unfortunately everything was in Chinese, so not much help. for some reason now, the recovery isn't even working.
Now I can connect to the phone via SPflash, but I get the above response: '[Platform Error] The load and target are inconsistent!'
Some other ROMs I tried give me this response:
'The load to be downloaded is for MT6589;
The target platform is MT6582_S00'
Which is quite suspicious.
Any ideas?
Thanks

SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8200)
As i connect my phone it disconnects after 2 seconds..
Please give me a site to download scatter file for my micromax a 310

Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114 hard bricked s_dl_pmt_err_no_space (5069) & other errors

What happened:-
I have Micromax A114(Canvas 2.2) which has MT6582 chip. One day when I restart my phone got a screen with white background that says "Encryption Unsuccessful" you need to reset ur phone. I tried to wipe cache and data from recovery it said "unable to mount". So I re-flashed the official stock rom(the one that I was running on my phone) but the flash process was unsuccessful.
You will find all the screenshots here http :// download. pratiyogitadarpanpdf. com/cover/a114flash /index.php
What is the current situation with my phone:-
It is not starting up not even any sign of charging when connected to charger, but when connected to my laptop it shows "Micromax A110 Preloader USB VCOM Port (COM42)" in the device manager. Sometimes it also shows "MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port (COM73)"
What I've tried:-
1. I tried flashing different ROMs compatible with my phone but getting the Brom error s_dl_pmt_err_no_space (5069). So, it is not the problem with the size of ROM, i guess.
1.1 Flashing with "firmware upgrade" option throws "Failed to get PMT info"1.2 Flashing with "download" option says "partition management table is not found. Please use "format+download" option."1.3 Flashing with "format all + download" option throws "Brom error S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069)"1.4 When tried to auto format flash (with format flash except bootloader option), it says "S-DL_READ_PT_FAILED(5073)":crying:2. I used different versions of sp_tools from 3.2 to latest version 5. But, still getting the same error with all versions.
3. I tried to readback with sp tools it says OK.
4. When I tried memory test in sp tools with the scatter file of official rom(that was running fine on my phone earlier), it gives error S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3149) and same old NAND FLASH NOT DETECTED error in the output.
5. But when I flashed only the preloader of the same rom with "format all + download" option, it was formated and flashed successfully.:fingers-crossed: But then try to flash the other files of that same rom, it again shows "Brom error S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069)"
6. I don't have Mtk_Droid_Tool backup files for my phone. And it is not detecting my phone.
7. I read other threads on XDA with similar symptoms but no luck.
What should I do now? Help needed.
I tried searching for the solution on the internet continuously for like 4 days and found things that do nothing. Please suggest me what to do? Should I giveup or what? I love my phone very much:crying:. I seriously need your suggestions. Any help would be highly appreciated.
occurred same problem with my phone canvas 2.2
occurred same problem with my phone canvas 2.2 before 4 days and I am trying to search out any resolution on internet but yet not succeeded; Let's hope someone from XDA will help us in this matter.

i have the same prlbm .....
do you guyzzz have any solutions...??
I just hard-bricked my phone(Canvas Magnus A117) as well. No luck in finding any solution to this. It was working fine until I decided to reboot it just like that. Got the same errors after trying at the same level.
Same problem happened to my A114
Anyone get their phone rectified?
I had same problem while flashing. I took it to 2-3 places, they said it cannot be rectified. I however did not contact service center. Anyways, did the problem solved for anyone of you

Check the scatter, make sure that the line, i.e. matches the device chip type:
platform: MT6735M < -- is this correct?

I think this is scatter file mismatch, because I have done a proper read back of Inew L4 mt6735 to flash it to another phone with exact same model and build. But that flash file is not even working to flash that phone from which I made it giving this same error.
ERROR: S_INVALID_BBCHIP_TYPE (1003)
Still working on it.
[Update]
Only a single "m" in MT6735M in scatter file was missing, now its working all fine. :fingers-crossed:
I searched the whole internet for years to solve this error...
So if your getting this error better check your scatter platform names etc.....bcz even if you get it from readback or official flash files, like in my case it can give you error.
If you're getting this same error every time so try the above advice and here is a tip for early disconnection, connect while holding volume button or open yiu device and find kcolo[\B] and short it with GND.(better find details from google bcz i am too funding it)

Nokia 1 TA-1047 stuck at NOKIA logo screen

Hi guys, sorry I'm newbie so after a long time surfing for solutions, I couldn't solve my own problem. That's why I come here to ask for your supports
Firstly I unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP and rooted my device and enjoyed it. But after decided to wipe (factory reset) this phone with TWRP, and my problem began...
1. I got stuck in TWRP loop booting. After that I tried to fastboot system.bin, cache.bin and recovery.bin from Stock Firmware but it still hung at Nokia logo booting
2. I still kept trying with SP Flash Tool, Miracle Box but there was still no hope:
- SP Flashtool v5_1548 gave me error: BROM ERROR: S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
- Miracle Box 2.27A told me there was an error (i don't remember the code) occured in the location (i can't remember its code either)...
Anyone can solve it please help!!!! I love this phone much and as of now still suffering day by day since I can't do anything with it.
Kindly appreciate any suggestion and solution.
Thank you all!
Can you provide me the stock rom link please?
@you download firmware . Youtube : type "nokia ta 1066 flashing" GSM TEAM
@you flash this firmware , tick only recovery.bin
@notes : hold volume up & volume down -----> NO error: BROM ERROR: S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
good luck ^_^_^//
 @i'm using Nokia 1 Red TA-1047

I wondered if someone could try to help me? :)

Hello guys! I have a problem with one phone that i am trying to fix for someone and I feel sooo, sooo completely lost in all of this as I know almost nothing about this. The cell phone model that is in question is Alcatel One Touch Pop C3-4033x.
It seems to be using a Mediatek chipset and I was reading some of your advices here & there and tried using the program called SP FlashTools but it always resulted in error, in the end. It seems that something is wrong with this phones emmc flash memory. So, I tried transfering some files as a zip files to the SD-card and tried to apply update from it, but it said always: Installation aborted. And then, I have tried looking for a way to flash stock firmware of that specific Alcatel model on SD-card, but I just don't have any clue how to do it, if it is possible, even. Maybe I should just give up trying?
Oh, I almost forgot to write that the phone doesn't have the access to Android OS and USB debugging isn't turned on, because computer doesn't seem to list it and I don't know if there any button combinations that Alcatel uses for this model to get into that fastboot or adb mode, even though have installed mediatek drivers. It can only get into Android System Recovery 3e. That seems to be everything, I think, at least.
Oh guys, I am so, so, so sorry if I am bothering you with this. I just didn't know what or where else to ask this. Thank you sooo much!
Hi download those files:
Firmware:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/bpm4ibsbmr4q6nc/OT-4033X-Without_Mobilis_logo__BY_GSMSERVE.rar/file
SP Flash tool:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603870440
Driver:
https://mega.nz/#!8VYkQCxD!fkhTrZwFFILDAglO1cR_8pIM4Cel52brZ7RB6QZoc6o
Once you downloaded all right driver open SP flash tool and add Scatter file
MT6572_Android_scatter.txt
Click on Download , connect your phone without battery and see if the process is going on if not try again with battery inside.
If you end up with error do the same thing but now first do Format then after is Finish do Download. Good luck ...
It still displays error :/

I have tried to do everything like you have said, but it still displays error when i press the Download button, and it displays that error after some seconds pass and also the same happens hen i try to use the Format function. This is the error it displays when i tried with the download button: BROM ERROR: S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3149)
And this is the same error it displayed when i tried using the Format function: S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3149)
