Has the Archos 101 been rooted yet

I was wondering if the archos 101 had been rooted yet and if not is going to happen... ever?
It's rooted but not permanently. If you have bellow firmware 2.0.71 installed you can use z4root to temp root it. If you have higher you can root but you need to install the sde which voids the warranty. Then you can use this which replaces the kernel to allow root permissions but it does not allow you to make permanent changes to the system partition.
not too happy about having to install SDE which voids the warranty to have just temp root, perm root might be worth the compromise, otherwise is just a waste of time until someone with the required skills can get us perm root

[Q] Unrooting the Atrix with stock room

Hello,
I have european (or international) Atrix without branding.
I want to root my phone (only root; I am not planning to install any custom ROMs). I am planning to root the device using Pete's Motorola Root Tools.
But because my phone is still on warranty I want to have possibility to return to the stock setting (ROM without root).
How is the best solution to do this?
1. Maybe is there application which could save my current ROM image (without root) and which could in the future restore my original saved ROM (without root)?
If yes, which application you recommend and which is the safest to use? I think that it will require to unlock device but I think that unlocking irreversible voids warranty?
or
2. Maybe is there application to unroot the device without necessity of flashing it?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Tmobile Galaxy S5 root without triggering knox, warranty, lollipop questions

Going to cut it as short as I can, and I'll probably sound like a noob and annoying at the same time. Can I root my Galaxy S5 T-Mobile 4.4.2 G900TUVU1CNK2 without triggering knox? I don't want to touch anything (no rom or loader or anything) - I just want it to be rooted so I have some access.
If that can't be done, can I root and yet still send back to T-Mobile as a warranty replacement without them charging me?
If I were to root, can I still use the OTA upgrade from Lollipop once it comes out or does it have to be done a different way?
You can root without tripping Knox. Follow @galaxyuser88 here

If you upgrade, OTA to 5.0, you will lose root privileges and have to re-root

(G850F on 5.0.2) Temporary root or unroot after rooting with CF-Auto-Root?

I need to root my Galaxy Alpha to edit just one system file, and then unroot it so I can still use apps that don't work on rooted phones. It seems like rooting is not a problem, however I couldn't find any information on the internet on how to unroot a phone that has CF-Auto-Root applied. Can it be done?
Or alternatively, is there a way to gain root access only on adb so I can edit the file this way? Temporary custom recovery maybe?
By the way, tripping the knox flag, losing warranty etc. is absolutely fine by me.

Media recovery and rooting my phone

I have an LG G6 (LG-H870) with android oreo 8.0.0, kernel version 3.18.71
I want to root in mainly to recover a couple videos I've deleted.
If there is a way to recover the videos without root that would be great, if not then I need some help rooting my device because I've never done it before.
The videos I've deleted were locked and I have "permanantly deleted" them as they don't go in the trash.
I've found this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/tool-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t3674088
Also, I know that rooting my phone voids my warranty so I was wondering if there was a way to unroot my phone in order to get back my warranty after I'm done recovering my videos/photos?
Basically...
Is there a way to recover deleted videos/images without rooting my device and if not then how do I safely root it?
