So im a noob and im trying to port a rom for huawei g330 from huawei g510 the rom boot, but i have no imei and no band base, and camera and sms app dont work, so i need some help do port this rom since we only have stock rom for g330 u8825-1. plz help me thank you

Hey friends i have installed android 2.3.7 rom on my karbonnA1 same as that of ZTE N721.. with some modification to ZTE RACER rom.. i was able to boot the rom ... but the issue is WIFI, Bluetooth, and network is not working . ? what i need to do now ?
Do I have to modify the kernel or any other solution is there ... help will be appreciated

rom i ported is based on CynogenMod-7.2.0-RC1 .... USB is also not working but i can charge through USB cable
please guys guide me i m eager to develop it further .I m also googling the issues but no success till now

u should upload rom you ported, i will test on my mmx a60 and will fix it.
karbonn a1 roms are working on a60.

actually u need a custom recovery for that, and mediapad link doesnt have that, the devs doesnt care about our mediapad link, no dev at all is working to port a custom recovery for it, then custom ROMs etc will be possible
Is there any chance to flash a custom version of CWM recovery into this device? Searching the web I can't find any one. Is there anyone here who can help me to obtain one custom version and how to flash it? My G525 is already bootloader unlocked and rooted.

Lewa rom is perfect and bug free on the other hand its bit laggy. It doesn't give you the custom look but its perfect enough to change taste .

No, a rom made for a device won't work on a different one. You'll have to find one or learn the technical knowledge required to make one yourself.
