resize partitions and use SD instead of NAND - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello !
I've a small Android tablet : Nextway F7 (seams to be the same than Pipo U2), a 7" RK3066 on 4.1.1 . It has 16Go of memory, but part in 1Go for principal memory and all remaining memory considered as "SD", so additional installations are done on it. It has a real microSD slot free named "tflash".
I'd like to use all the NAND as main memory and my real SD as "SD". How to modify parameters in Android, or a ROM file ? I can flash my device if needed.
I've tried to find a tutorial for doing that, without any success.
Thank you for your help and please excuse my english (perhaps the reason I can't find tutos).

Karbonn A7 Plus's only drawback.Please solve.

Respected reader,(maybe answerer )
I have a Karbonn A7 Plus Mobile Smartphone and it is extremely good.It provides features which are available on devices double the cost.I am good with it but for one thing,it has only 157 MB of internal memory.I also have a standard 4 32 GB MicroSD card fitted into it.The internal space of my device is fully filled up and now I can't install more apps even on my 32 GB MicroSD Card.I have to keep deleting apps which are less important and constantly keep cleaning cache. Now I have come to a condition that all my apps are important and I also can't also delete one app.I have heard of Memory swapping method but it requires root.So I am planning to root my phone and get super users access. So I don't know how to do that. Please tell me.But I don't know if the method is safe and what are its disadvantages.I also fear that if after rooting my system will degrade from android 2.3 to any older version. So anyone please tell me if it is safe. And the next thing,I want to swap external SD cards memory and convert it into internal memory.I know that we have to change the vold.fstab file.I have searched for the modified file for Karbonn A7 Plus but got no results. Please anyone send me the modification .Anyone Please help me. I really will be grateful to him whoever helps.

[Q] Vivo Y22 Storage Too Small (and other questions)

Dear developers,
Recently I got a new phone Vivo Y22 with Funtouch OS v1.0 (Christmas present). Its was okay at first then it start telling me that storage has not enough space (with only factory apps and Clean Master). I realize the it had about 4GB internal storage but divided to 2 parts. 2.5GB for system space and 1.06GB as internal storage. In system space, i have only 150mb left I always need to use Clean Master to wipe cache before I download anything. I tried Link2SD, I formatted my SD card and set 4GB partition as EXT2 but did not detect. Same goes for EXT3 and EXT4. It only works for FAT32 but some files cannot be linked using this format. Read some threads in web, they mentioned some phone does not support EXT2,3,4 format. Maybe this is my case? I tried to look for informations about Vivo Y22 but very less and worst, some of them is in chinese.
So the 1st question is: How can I increase the system space? Could I adjust the system space to occupy my more of my Internal Memory?
Second question is, how do I update my phone from JellyBean to KitKat? Do I follow tutorials that uses the same Chipset (Y22 uses MediaTek MT6582)? How if I want to install custom ROMs like CM11 (can't find Vivo Y22 in Device section in CM site so i presume it is not supported?)? There is very less information about rooting and flashing when it comes to this phone. I only manage to root the phone using tutorials given for some other chinese phone.
Thanks in advance..

(just started using smartphone 3 weeks ago, was using old flip phones before hand)
Did you ever manage to fix this? I'd love to root my Y22 and put vanilla Android on there but can't find how to do it. The memory problem is useless on this phone.

[Q] How to Re-Partition internal memory (Iuni U2)

One of my friend is using Iuni U2 32GB version( no SD card).
He flashed Walton Primo Z 16 GB(U2 rebrand) Vanilla KitKat ROM.
After flashing, His phone's internal memory shows only 16gb.
I think after flashing that ROM his phone's partition was changed.
How to repartition or get back remaining internal memory?
Any one helping me ??
Iuni u2 now only 16gb
I have same problem here now, I have after vanilla rom flash only 16gb. If it's an solution I need also help. How to recover memory? I found that it's an partition called mmcblk0p22 that have 14,62Gb that is not mounted . ( 179/22 , mmcblk0p22, grow | xx | Not Mounted)
This info it's returned by app called "Storage Partition" if enter in Advanced
Have You Find any Solution ???
How are both of you doing in this matter - any success?
BTW. I spoke to fella on some Polish forum and he said, that event though, the system shows 16GB, the memory over that 16GB is still accessible. He told, that file manager - Total Commander shows the space correctly, and that he experimanted with Nokia Here, stuffed it with maps and managed to occupy 23GB in total. All that sounds comforting and if it's only one marker that's shown wrongly, it shouldn't be a big thing.
any solution?
my 32 gb iuni gone after this primoz rom.it is now 16 gb! anyone find solution. i found flashable zip from 4pda. it not work. help pls

Overmax Steelcore 1020 3g tablet. Partition

Hello All.
I'm new here and this is my second adventure with android. For the first time i got my sisters old galaxy s3 i managed to flash custom rom in couple of hours never having android before (im a BB user). That was easy.
But now i bought tablet Overmax Steelcore 1020 3g Kitkat 4.4.2. and as soon as i started to install apps tablet runed out of memory. It has 16Gb in total but for apps its only 1 giga. Was trying to move apps to sd card via menu, then i rooted it and trying move apps via link2sd and a dozen of similar tools. It was half-working becouse most of apps cannot be moved and even if they can its still impossible to to install some big app or game. Its like it needs to be install on internal memory and after that moved to sd. I Even formated my sd card into 2 partitions fat and ext2/4 becouse it suppose to extend apps memory. It didnt. Its not even possible to run recovery mode. The only combination of buttons vol- and pow can run some diagnostic mode, but thats all. In my research i found some (edited to have more rom memory) EBR files wich i suppose to put and replace original files in rom(downloaded from developer website) but couldnt even flash original rom. This is not a popular device so its really hard to find some info about it. I would be really gratefull for some advices, or maybe some easy obvious method that i might have overlooked. Better solution for me would be repartition from 12giga storage/1 giga rom to 5 giga storage/8giga rom in internal memory couse i dont need space for my files and its rather safer having apps on tablet than sd. Thanks in advance for any advices.

Chuwi Hi 10 dual OS (Win10/Android 5.1)- how do I move apps to the micro SD card?

Hi- I have a Chuwi Hi 10 dual OS (Win10/Android 5.1) tablet. It has 64 GB of memory, but only about 1/4 of that is allocated for the Android partition. I had hoped to find a way to change the partition size so that about half was available to each OS, but haven't found a way yet.
I am now running into the situation where I am getting low storage capacity messages. I have a 128GB micro SD card installed, but it seems unable to use it. Is there a way to allow the use of that space, as other versions of Android (and variations) allow? Preferably, I would like to do it such that I won't lose everything currently on the tablet, but I can back up data files if necessary (such as for rooting?)
Thank you for any assistance.
Bob
Kind of late to help but I just went through this process. Hopefully this will help someone else at the least save some time searching around various forums. I and am currently in final steps of moving existing apps to SD card via the process below:
Unlock bootloader
Install Custom recovery (I suggest TWRP)
Install SU (the device is now rooted)
Install Apps2SD and partition the SD card as you wish, making ext4(ext3) the file system for the partition you want to install apps on > reboot.
Link apps to SD card in Apps2SD (there is multiselect in the menu)
Backup data and download stock OS, firmware, etc > http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-2341-1-1.html (this link is for the Hi10pro. There are other threads with downloads for other models link Hi10 plus, etc in that same forum)
