Possibility of a vanilla JB 4.2.2? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi there,
Let me get this straight. Yes, there are MANY types of AOSP ROMS, but here's the problem:
-Most ROMs are based on Sony's stock ROMs from Xperia Z or CM10
-Some ROMs are only on 4.1.1
-Developers added mods/tweaks to their AOSP ROM.
Would it be possible if a stock, clean and stable AOSP ROM be ported to Xperia Neo/Neo V? I'm using mikegapinski's AOSP 4.1, but it lacks some features and is sadly ASIS. I'm not really demanding for one, but it would be good if there are vanilla jelly bean ROMs. I might have missed some pure ROMs while searching, so if there are any do recommend them.
Thank you.

Not sure about that but it sure would be a good thing if we had Android 4.1/4.2 with full functionality, that means 720p recording too.I have been trying to find a good Jelly Bean (4.1 or 4.2) ROM for my Neo for quite a while now, real JB (no hybrids with ICS though they can be nice too) and had mixed results.Lupus JB kernel comes with 720p option and that works on some ROMs,so far Super Jelly Bean 4.0 and Xperia Z Jelly Bean (rather new ROM) have been the best for me,many other CM10 and CM10.1 based ROMs I tried were full of bugs.I am also putting high hopes in nAa and his 3.4 kernel, performance with it is great but it consumes a lot of battery and it doesnt seem to support 720p recording at the moment. As for pure AOSP ROMs for Xperia Neo and Neo V I dont think I encountered one, will let you know if I find it.
What I find disappointing with Jelly Bean ROMs is their generally poor customization options when it comes to appearance, most of them look like Cyanogenmod on which they are based on and while I really respect the work of Cyanogenmod team I find their ROMs visually quite disappointing. And the best launchers and system UIs that can be flashed are mostly for ICS only.

True. Also the near-AOSP ROMs are based on mikegapinski's ROM. Thanks for the suggestions

[Q] Vanillla JB 4.2 for Xperia Ray - is it possible?

Is it possible to somewhere and somewhen to get ROM with Vanilla Jelly Bean 4.2 for Xperia Ray? ...any hope in the future?
I tried CM10 but there are lot of bugs. I've been used Galaxy Nexus with JB4.2. It is great OS, no need to any improvements. How difficult is to port the same for Xperia Ray? What should be done (how much work?) for it?
There is already a ROM based on android 4.2 in the Ray development forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803076
But it will be even more buggy due to the lack of sources and camera libs...
According to FXP team... The toughest part is the camera and updraded development of 4.2 kernel

openpdroid in X10 JB roms

hi devs
i just want to know if anybody is working on integrating OpenPDroid with any of the JB roms for Xperia X10, i saw it in one of the Feralabs GB rom, but not anywhere else, its a damn good feature to have in a JB rom.
So please i am requesting to all great developers to integrate OpendPDroid in their future versions of JB Roms.
especially in AOSP 4.2.2 from Tof37 and in ,
PAC JB by X10forever
Thanks

[Q] (Question) How I can have the benefits of Jelly Bean in Ice Cream Sandwich?

Hello everybody, but I have this little doubt. I have an Xperia Mini ST15 am currently on Gingerbread, but many should know the new Jelly Bean advantages such as: Project Butter, notifications bar with notifications preview, improved system performance and gaming performance, Google Now , the Lock Screen and user interface. Currently I learned that you can put Google Now on devices with Ice Cream Sandwich. But my question is if I can have the advantages mentioned above. Please respond. I am a Noob. You can try installing ICS-based JB ROMs. I think the latest version of CyanogenMod is JB-based.
When it comes to performance we are limited by our hardware, 512MB RAM with 1GHz isn't enough to run JB smoothly especially if you want good gaming performance. What you can do is try CyanogenMod (custom kernel) or the simpler approach is use a stock ICS based custom ROM with ported features. Check out the android dev section in our forums there are so many ROMs with ported features from newer/better phones.

there is no ''ICS-based JB ROM'S'' its based on JB OR ICS. the latest official CM for our devices is cm10= which is JB 4.1.2 (and below like ICS), also mike ported CM' 10.1 (JB 4.2.2) & CM10.2 (JB 4.3) to our devices, as he ported it from CM'S git its unoffical , but its the best JB xperience u can get now for our devices.

yeah i agree , software cant make wonders, there HW limit's ; thats what we have to accept...
but, u can run JB smooth also day to day, mike's CM10.1 is very stable, ofcourse u get some more batery on ICS bcuz 3.xxx kernel is a beast
- also JB is a way smoother than any ICS i had (i installed many), also for ram, u get more in JB (= in my case i can play better games on JB...)
but ICS has the most mods here / and ported stuffs...

[Q] [XGO] Super JB, Power JB, Fidelity Jb, Xperience JB

There are so many JellyBean ROMs for Xperia GO:
Fidelity JB
Xperiace Jelly Bean
Super JB
Power JB
All of these have lists of features that seem to be relatively similar. Is there any standout feature(s) that makes one of these ROMs a better choice? Does anyone use one of these and can recommend it? I feel confused by the options.
