My Samsung Ace crashed while installing Jelly Blast JB 4.1.1 Custom ROM For Ace 5830i 4m ANDROTWEET
Hi Team ,
I desperately need ur help here .
I have Samsung Ace s5830 . I have rooted and ran CWM from ANDROTWEET forums ..
Later while upgrading OS from 2.3.6 to JB 4.1.1 Custom ROM via the same website , I have rebooted the device after installation and it stuck at the reboot screen leaving the mobile turned ON ( the led on screen glows ) but nothing pops out ..
I have reseated the battery and ran the steps again -which are of no use.
Now I am unable to do anything on my phone ..

Flash Stock ROM with Odin. There is a guide how to do this. Just look in S5830i General Section.
Oh and: We have no JB. It's still GB.
EDIT: Oh just saw now you have a S5830. Read the posts under mine post.

u flashed a rom for 5830i
in 5830
both phones are different...
5830i is more like galaxy y !
look for unbrick tutorial in 5830 section...
and don't ever flash a rom which is made for 5830i in 5830

Lol. You have an ace and you have flashed Ace I ROM . What else you'll have other than brick?
Flash stock ROM (ace not ace I) via odin... N next time plz search before posting

The is not one available yet.
The may be a themed one somewhere, but the stock s3 dialer has not been ported

If your phone is not rooted then first you need to root it and install cwm recovery. You can search forum for tutorials.
Then download the rom in your phones external sd card and flash it via cam.

Only the black screen and i can leave him for all day and nothing effects ;/ . do you know how to repair it??

which cm9 did u install?
the one in "s5830" section or the one in "s5830i" section?
with either case, ur phone is bricked and you'll have to flash stock rom via odin.
go to android development section and see the thread "Unbrick Tutorial"
Sorry i don't know where i must ask about this . It is the cyangogen mod 9 for samsung galaxy ace s5830i I know that . And instalation ran good and when i take "reebot " it doesn't work . I used Clockworkmod v5.x.x and when the phone is turning on is the black screen all time . Please help me .

Man if u do not know then i must tell u that cm9 for 5830i is still not functioning completely.
There has been only 1 build by bieltv3 dat also is an alpha build very buggy, not for daily use...
As for now our main project is cm7 and the devs. r working on it.....u shud flash stock rom using odin to get back your phone in working state.....:thumbup:

As I said earlier development for cm7 is going on...still no stable cm7, u can search for it in development section dude
And cm9 is very far...

Hello guys.... I'm new here... So i don't know the rules and stuff...
My problem is that i have flashed my custom Rom to Jelly Blast V3.0.3 ... and when i flashed... I had Network problem (My sim was not Detecting)... So i was told to Install 2 files namely ;
Kernel-201211201515-E3-boot.img.zip
Modulos201211201515-modules.zip
I installed both these files and realised that i flashed my Kernel to 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #201209221033 .... And yeah, My Sim card was reading now.
So the problem comes here, I cannot access my sim contacts, I was told that it is because of the Kernel...
Before you tell me solutions i have ;
Downloaded Sim Contacts related app's
Done Gmail Contact back-up's
I am really confused now... What should i do now... Should I change the Kernel again/ If yes, to what? ..... Or should i download some other file which can help me? Please help me! thank you...
Change the kernel todo the stock one and then save your contacts to the SD. Now you can flash again the custom kernel and import the contacts from the SD

Try Stock kernel based Ace-i-Sure ROM... It can read SIM contacts by default.
