I think that you have not opened up dev section from a month!\camera fixed already

1) Extract system apps from xperia p ftf
2)Download devswift's v3 rom replace the apps with the p ones(although I suggest that you install devswift's rom as is because there are layout fixes)
3)Paste the zip containing the rom in sd card and reboot in recovery
4) Wipe everything (factory reset - it won't reset your sd-card) and flash
That's what you have to do! The camera problem was in the kernel! Actually it was due to the als but this was fixed!

yeah true i waana more and more so i make this thread.
It's an als lib! It is in kernel! There isn't something in p's Rom! If it's not working then you have done something wrong. The als is in the thread for the jelly bean kernel but I'm order to make it work you need to compile a kernel

So here's the deal modders and forum members....
Tried a couple of custom kernels to get my Sola rooted but every kernel had some or the other issue..
So here's what I did to keep the root and to solve the issues...
1) Fastbooted with custom kernel to get rooted
2) Flashed with stock firmware. Tft file (only ticked kernel nothing else) so that's the stock kernel of my firmware. .184
3) rebooted and Walla rooted
So now the problem is I lost CWM
Can't boot into recovery
So can someone please help me out over here to install recovery again without flashing a new kernel..

If ur using SSpeed v3 then it's provided in their. Zip files so you just have to replace it in root and change the permissions...

Found it, thank you...flashed the v3 zip but wifi tethering still doesn't work, tried manually copy-paste and changing the perms, but still no luck. Am I missing something?

I hope you extracted the WiFi modules.zip and replaced it in the root with rwr-r-r permission...
Then clear dalvic cache from recovery and try bro!!

Yes, install Sony Xperia Sola boot for 6.1.1.B.1.10 + rooted + CWM Touch recovery v5.5.0.4,you can use flashtool,
or
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Root it with Bin4ry's backup/restore root kit. Install CPU Master, set both the speed bars to 1GHz, choose performance, apply. Then reboot. Might fix the issue.
I already did that but for temporaly only, it eats battery a lot

There should be a problem with gektheboss flashable file. There is an app inside called SemcPhone.apk. This should be the one that creates the problem. Try to extract from sony xperia p jb ftf file (the one you downloaded) the SemcPhone.apk and replace it with the one on your phone.
You will find SemcPhone.apk under system->app->SemcPhone.apk. Replace it and reboot.
Give it a try and let me know mate.

If u use from original SemcPhone.apk sometimes have bugs ..but maybe..am not use from original ftf P's

This way should work.The best solution though is to flash the rom from lee480. On the second post you told that you don't want to flash lee480's rom that's why i didn't give you another solution buddy.

Suarezian pm and ask me if i can port this firmware(originally ported for the ray) to the neo v. i ported and he tells me that´s works perfect .. so my intention was to post it and sharing to the neo v community, but he ported by his self and don´t report me that ...
i do not complaining that I'm not in the credits because in his version I don´t do nothing, so the credits are good .. I complain because he made me waste my time (well I have life, go to college , work, etc, as everyone in the Xda community) and apparently he don´t appreciated .. My intention is not to cause problems or be rude if you appreciate the work of others whether good to bad because the intention is to help each other and not create problems :highfive::good:

hi mate. i didnt intend to waste your time. since i had ported the entire firmware with bloatwares, i thought it would be good if someone had made a bloatware free rom. thats why i asked you to port for our device.

Good one mate.. That shows the courtesy.. and @Suarezian wont copy or do anything like that without permissions.. adding the link of your rom in op is a good option as both are same, blotware is the difference..

yes, just flash via recovery.
Cause I had some problems (Bootloop) and had to reflash via Flashtool

i flashed mine without any problems.. im using lupus ics kernel by the way.. ...and this is not a ftf file, there is no .13 firmware available for neo v afaik, this is a port from xperia ray.
