I just got the time to build Windows Phone apps and this one is for security. It's called
PasswordRabbit
Screenies
Description
PasswordRabbit provide you with a safe and secure place to keep all your confidential information. This application typically stores all your information in a database, which can then only be opened if you know the master password. PasswordRabbit can also create an encrypted file backup in your Skydrive account so whenever you lost your phone, reset, or baught a new one, you always restore your accounts. The encrypted backup is using 256bit AES encryption and re-encrypted again and again to make it harder to crack.
The explosion in websites requiring user ids and passwords — for everything from email, contest registrations, bills and banking information — has created a need for some types of password manager. You can use PasswordRabbit to store these website passwords, making access quicker and safer.
What does PasswordRabbit offer?
A categorized account vault
Can store you account in favorites
Password generator that uses Cryptographic Random Number Generator to make sure the password generated with the given characters are unique and never gets duplicated
Encrypted Backup/Restore in your Skydrive account
Can generate QR code with your password
Can send an email with your password
Can copy account id and password (v1.2)
Download Password Rabbit in Windows Phone Market
Please try it and let me know what you think! :fingers-crossed:

[WM6.5][Titanium] mSaldo - balance checker for mBank account (only PL)

mSaldoHere's my new plugin for Titanium.
This small app checks balance for one of 4 accounts in mBank. Because mBank is avalible for polish users, mSaldo is only in polish language.
mBank supports few channels to get some info. The SMS channel needs to be activated before you can use mSaldo.
How it works?
1. Program sends an SMS with body: 1#Users_ID#Users_Pass_To_SMS_Channel to number +48601362265. (fee is like an normal SMS)
2. mSaldo waits for an SMS from mBank with balance info.
3. After that, mSaldo displays that info in his dedicated Titanium panel and removes the retrieved SMS.
Here you can watch how it works
Security:
1. Users ID and password are saved in system registry in a encrypted form.
2. If you don't like to save this data in the registry, you can write it always when mSaldo runs.
3. If this data is saved, entering to options need to be validated by SMS channel password.
4. If you're scared if someone can look at your balance on Titanium, you can choose to hide them after a selected period of time.
5. When the panel is condensed, it can display a sum of balance from all accounts. You can disable it if you don't like it.
6. The retrieved SMS is always deleted after mSaldo reads from it the account balance, sended SMS is not saved in send items.
Handling:
mSaldo supports this accounts:
1. eKONTO
2. izzyKONTO
3. eMAX
4. eMAX Plus
one retrieved SMS

}
Installation:
1. Check if your device is unlocked
2. Install mSaldo in internal memory.
3. Wait for mSaldo panel configurator and choose where you like to add a new panel.
4. Run the configurator and enter user ID, password (you can disable saving these data in the registry)
5. Wait...
Requirements:
mBank account
WM6.5 device
.NET Compact Framework 3.5
Unlocked device
Thanks:
Konrad Błaut - my friend from my study group. mSaldo was his idea, I only did this dirty work to develop it
Wojciech Kulczewski (kulek79) - great betatester,he was very fastidious with testing this app and sended me some bugs and sugestions
Łukasz Krutul - send me an idea for SMS repporting and that's how I've created a safe mode
mBank - for their permission for using their graphics in my program

LightMyPi Android App - Control GPIO without SSH and WebioPi wirelessly

I want to share the project I was working on an android app to control all GPIO pins of Rapsberry Pi wirelessly from Android Phone without using SSH nor WebioPi nor port forwarding

Download from Google Play Store
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lightmypi
The app communicates with your Raspberry without using SSH nor WebIoPi
You need to install a web server, PHP handler and wiringPi and switch.php file on your raspberry to get this app working.
I have given a detailed guide on github along with switch.php file
github.com/juniorhero/raspberrypi2
Read more on Github
If you install Weaved on HTTP port 80, then you can access the GPIO pins from anywhere in the world using LightMyPi app
I am sure you will like this app, please try it and let me know if you face any difficulties :fingers-crossed:
Have you done more development on this?
Could you share Android App source code so we can hack as in our DIY project. Please.
I've followed the directions on github, however when I run the weaved-nixinstaller_1.2.13.bin I choose option 2 and it sets up port 80 OK but then it asks for my Weave email address and password. I gave it my email and invented a password, but then it says:
You are missing a valid session token and must be logged back in.
I also installed the Android app lightmypi, however there is no place to enter an email and password, so it's very confusing how the Android app is supposed to connect to my pi. Probably the issue is with the weaved-nixinstaller not finishing correctly.
I did some Google search and discover that I have to first create a Weaved account online, however they are not accepting new accounts, rather they direct me to setup an account at www dot remot3 dot it. What a run around.
Any help is appreciated, because I am so close to testing this all out.

[Q][Android 6.0] Own CA SSL (HTTPS) with CA CERT warning only?

Hey guys,
I want to enable https on my sm-g900f for my local developer environment, so I created my own self signed root CA certificate. With this cert I sign my local server certificates.
Everything works fine on my desktop devices but not on my android mobile phone.
If I create a rootCA.crt file and convert it to binary .DER type, I'm able to install it on my phone via Settings / Security / Credential storage / Install from storage. HTTPs works now in all browsers and I can see that the cert has been addedd successfully to the Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials > User store. But then I get the "your network may be monitored" warning.
In order to get rid of it I followed the steps described in this thread. The only difference was that my user certs location is /data/misc/user/0/cacerts-added.
After gaining root access and moving the cert via ADB to /system/etc/security/cacerts/ (including chmod and chown) the warning disappeared and I can see that my rootCA is enabled under Trusted Credentials > System*.
As soon as I remove the beforehand added rootCA under Trusted Credentials > User, the warning disappears but https is not working anymore. Chromium gives me this:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone know why my phone/android shows this behaviour?
*(for experts only: also wondering why system/etc/security/cacerts are being displayed as plain ascii text with full cert info although android requires binary format for CA cert?)
For those interested I'm sharing the solution:
Here's what I did to solve this:
(1) flashing my sm-g900f with odin v3.12.4-4 and latest twrp 3.3.0-0-klte
(2) backup relevant data, wipe system/cache/... with twrp afterwards
(3) flash 16.0-nightly-klte addonsu-16.0-arm open_gapps-arm-9.0-nano-20190428
(4) install certificate via security settings options. Shown as 'user cert' but no warning message and ssl works now
Thanks to JW09I4 for helping me out and guiding me through the process of updating my phone.

General SophiApp - Windows 11 Tweaker

SophiApp. The next chapter of the Sophia Script project;
SophiApp is a free, open-source app for fine-tuning Windows 10 & Windows 11. It offers a modern UI/UX, more than 130 unique tweaks, and shows how Windows can be configured without making any harm to the OS. SophiApp may not work on a homebrew Windows. Especially, if the homebrew image was created by OS makers being all thumbs who break Microsoft Defender and disable OS telemetry by purposely uprooting system components. It's allowed to be logged in as one admin user only during application startup.
SophiApp is fully portable: it doesn't have any config (yet) and doesn't save any data into the registry. Just extract the SophiApp folder with Bin folder and SophiApp.exe.config file, and run SophiApp.exe.

Notes;
Some functions depend on Internet access. If not, they will be hidden in UI until the access appears back. You can enable hidden functions in UI by turning on the Advanced settings in the Settings. The hidden functions will be marked with a gear in UI. After closing SophiApp, it creates a log file that you can attach to an open issue (or send to the Telegram group) to help us understand the bug. The log file doesn't contain any sensitive personal information. We do not store any data neither in the Windows registry or any other server.
