stock 1.26.12 rooted until JB 4.2 drops

I will also be rocking stock rooted until official 4.2 drops. There are too many bugs on the current 4.2.2 roms.

This sucks! Anyway to woo him back to the one? I'd be willing to put up some $$ for a phone. Anyone else?

Honestly it's not a big deal. These forums will soon be merged and we can use the ROMS on the international side anyway.

Honestly, Just pick one. The major releases are all good.
Stock rooted is good enough for me as I said earlier.

This sucks, same thing happened with the One X, I'm going back to rooted stock and boycotting his Clean Rom.... lol

I bought the HTC One yesterday and was excited that Scott was doing dev for this phone, then I unlock/root my phone this morning and see his post... WTF??
Using the stock updated Dev version, works great so no complaints but was still disappointed.
I hope they merge these soon, there is really no point for them being separated (m7/AT&T)

I'm using insert coin and I love it

I'm beginning to think the same thing. I guess I'll just go back to Stock rooted myself and see when we get S-Off so I can see about converting mine to a Pseudo-Dev edition.
At least I can have CM on my N4........

no to be a @SS but why buy a phone with sense to only want to run vanilla android? its fast as hell with stock. and everything works great. but then again your vanilla android htc one will be coming very soon along with S-off

I understand his reason for leaving. Currently on TrickDroid 5.6.0 and I like it, best battery I've ever had on a rom. Performance is great too.

Honestly, I prefer Sense on my One. But I liked Scott's Clean version of Sense because he tweaked it so that it would perform better with less bloat. And S-off never was a deal breaker for me, it just would be something fun to have.

whatever

Build quality would be the first thing that comes to mind for the htc one. Some people just want the quality of build but don't necessarily care for themed android

I claim no credit for this, just simply spreading the news mainly to see if this could help you Amaze devs out. This is new VILLEC2 leak that just popped up on the Sensation forums...Sense 4.0, no resizing needed, and native support for MSM 8660 chipset. Since this is my first ever thread in a dev forum, mods feel free to close, edit, whatever is necessary if I've done anything wrong as I AM NOT a dev or will ever claim to be lol. If you guys already have your hands on this leak then more power to you...
If not, hopefully this new leak will result in some nice shiny new Sense 4.0 ports for the Amaze

I'm still waiting for a less-than-crap camera for the S3.
So if you have an S4 you can pay a fee to have pure android? If so that is totally awesome and htc needs to do the same thing as soon as possible. I would for sure pay for that.

Great Idea ...I'll help out if i can. I plan on sticking with CleanRom 2.5 till 4.2.2 lands or another big update from AT&T.
Well all the buzz is 4.2.2 will drop very soon so it looks like the cleanrom .12 base will be short lived.
My Hope is we don't loose all the AT&T Features (Icons / signal bars ..etc) on the international roms
I'm willing to give those up for the fixes 4.2.2 brings to the table.
icons and such can be hacked in later.
What are the features that 4.2.2 have which CleanRom + apps from Google play cannot match?

4.2.2 seems to be all around smoother for me but the one thing I really miss about Clean Rom was the transparent app drawer. It was pretty much perfect in 2.5 and I have not been able to find anything as smooth with all the 4.2.2 roms. It is nit picking but it is frustrating.
I am going to try and build my on prism.apk here soon but I highly doubt I can do any better.
Which 4.2.2 ROM would you guys recommend? I'm not into fancy stuffs...I just want something stable and not full of bugs.

thats because they didnt read with 4.2.2 comes multi-user support so the sd is arranged different the stuff is still there. its easiest to back your sd to your computer format the sd flash 4.2.2 then transfer it back. then it gets put in the right place.

I am using Trickdroid, and everything is very smooth. Gallery has been changed, Quick settings are very nice. Boom sound volume actually goes down now, because before the lowest setting was still uncomfortably loud, the loud setting remained the same.
It looks like stock messenger app can only send MMS 300K size, but before I could change it to 1000K, and WiFi calling is not there.
Can someone port Stock T-Mobile Messenger App?

CM vs. Stock Android = two completely different roms. I want to use the CM 10.1 roms, but they don't have working BT audio yet. Maybe this phone's rom will help them get it working? The GPE rom will get tweaked and modded by the htc one community and hopefully those will be easily ported to the dna. Sense is cool and all, but I would like to free up some space on my stupid 16gb of non-expandable storage more than anything. Heck it might even get better battery life without all that htc stuff running in the background? Keeping my fingers crossed. :good:
There are plenty of stock roms. Not necessarily pure aosp, but there's cm amongst many other roms. And they are all about 99% working.
