What's different between Android development and Original Development?

As we know
There 2 sections
Android Development and
Original Android Development in S3 forum
Can't figure out what's different.
First I thought one is for AOSP /CM, other is for stock based ROM but I saw both AOSP/CM and stock based RON in both sections, so I really don't understand what's different about them...

Imho these titles are a bit confusing.
What is original development?
Samsung Stock development can be called original cause it's the original firmware.
But AOSP based development can also be called original development because well Google's code is original.
It seems the latter is used for XDA and topics often get created in the wrong forum, and then moved to the correct forum (sometimes way to late).

Original= built from source
Normal dev= modifying existing Rom or software

[Q] Rom Development for T-Mobile Prism 2(U8686)?

I've been looking around to see if I can find any roms but have only found flashable stock and stock with no carrierID(which i'm on). There was one major thread i found here on XDA that had to deal with development for this phone but it looks as if its been abandoned.(It started as a thread just introducing CWM to the device but it broke into a discussion on development of KitKat). Here's the link to the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616299 ...........On that thread a (beginning)developer posted a MEGA link that included some device files. Here's that: https://mega.co.nz/#F!QdcSmZoY!sdjlIrp0Q2VlDdYB2CGTMw ...................... They also said that you could use this repository(link below) for development due to the phone also being a Huawei msm7x27a device. Here is the link to the github repository: https://github.com/Dazzozo/android_device_huawei_msm7x27a-common ............................... So........that's all ive found out so far about rom development for this device. If someone with developing experience can guide me and deal with my noob ways then i will be happy to develop KitKat for this device as it is wanted by me and many others.

1st: Legacy Xperia (mike) is the last developer supporting Xperia 2011 line with Lollipop Updates. ALL other roms only based on his source & MORE buggy. / or OLD (discontunied) if you want a usable experience of lollipop use LX.
Here are the Threads for ALL phones (to much for making 1 thread for every phone.)
ROM Thread (dont post there, ONLY if you are a developer):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-arc/development/dev-2011-unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-0-t3053950
Q&A Thread (ask here for help/ issues):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-mini/help/faq-2011-legacyxperia-discussion-t3053947
Legacy Xperia Website with link to Changelog & how to install, download etc:
https://legacyxperia.github.io/
PS: READ carefully the 1stpost on ROM thread. you will need to have fast SD card for running lollipop. Also you need creat 2nd partition on SD ext4 as primary. Also follow install EXACTLY.
good luck. & next time SEARCH!!!!!
