Check it out. No word on when we will get this update but the new features are welcome for sure. Hopefully we get a leak soon.

There is a thread in international one and they are already working on it. We should see 4.2 roms pop up in international section soon.
Not sure on AT&T as they always take forever to release updates. I'm personally waiting on stock rooted 4.2 international leak to be published

It's available for download now in the Int'l section.

So, could we expect to see this for the AT&T variant soon?

No Sense 5.1 though. Only 4.2.2 (which is awesome. Toughted to bring some new camera updates as well)

There are apparently upgrades to the sense ui, just not enough to involk a new version number. But yes camera update is in there. I'm downloading trickdroid 6.0 as I type this

New AT&T HTC One software update 6/2/13
I just got a notification for an update. I'm on stock, just got the phone today (AT&T just fyi) and it's currently on 4.1.2 so I assume this is the rumored 4.2.2 update. Any word on if it can be rooted, or should I root before the upgrade, or..?

No it's a different update. Still 4.1.2.

All AT&T users should just forget everything that has to do with AT&T and stick to the international forum. The grass is so much greener on that side =). You're really missing out if you stick here.

If you flash arhd, you're files aren't gone, their in data/media. You need to move them to data/media/0

What's there that would be relevant to the AT&T version? Is it really a good idea, I thought they were different hardware (processor?)?

There is nothing to double check lol. They are the exact same devices hardware wise. You can flash any international custom rom on the AT&T version. The only thing you can't do is run an international ruu but the roms are perfectly fine.

Sweet! What about this update though? I'm still wondering what to do. Should I root before or after if I even do the update at all?

Wonder how the T-Mo specific stuff will work.. Checking this out, thanks!
Wifi calling isn't present (and it's highly doubtful that it will ever be).
Otherwise it will run just fine (everything including LTE works well).
Seriously, you guys should just ditch this forum, nothing happens here. All the fun goes on in the Int'l forum.

Hey Thanks for this info! Made life easy.
Now I'm trying to s-off and the guide under HTC one, says push the revone file and try to execute it. But i'm getting permission denied in the ADB shell. Does that mean my super user is not working? Also when I am running different apps, the SU permission pop up doesn't come on. Rather the superuser file in this rom is not doing anything.
Any help?

OK so I have a few questions and this is the best place I've found to ask so I'd be very happy if someone could help. First let me sway I'm bouncing between the normal and Google edition for tmo. Now I've read on Engadget that the Google edition fires not support AWS for tmo. I'm in Chicago and I'm sure if LTE is not here and strong it will be soon so my question is: For the normal version of the HTC ONE on tmo can if you flash an AOSP ROM does LTE and AWS work? Wouldn't that be the smarter thing to do than buy the Google edition and not get AWS support? I mean obviously you would want to be on LTE but in spots where you don't get it it would suck to go all the way down to 3g. Also is the link for this thread to a Google edition ROM that is the same as the ROM on the actual Google edition phone? Thank you very much whoever can help me out.

They both have the same exact software. The GE One just gets it's updates stock from Google. The original One can too, all you have to do is change CID/superCid

It will work fine, you will however lose WiFi calling. Just flash in CWM or TWRP as you would any ROM.

I've had trouble getting confirmation from T-Mobile users, but I do believe you will lose Bluetooth for calls on 4.2.2. (Streaming music works fine though)

You won't lose BT calling. Been using ARHD, OrioOne and Trickdroid. All work fine with BT calling and streaming.

Then I am lost. I've been flashing for years, and can't figure it out. The weird part is that I can stream music over Bluetooth to my car stereo and the headset. I can hear the touch tones while dialing. But as soon as I place a call neither the Mic or the speaker work.
I plan to flash this new T-Mobile ruu, then try ARHD 12.1 again. Did you guys flash the 2.17 firmware? Did you add any audio enhancements in aroma? I'm SuperCID with hex edit.
Any help is appreciated as I have tried numerous methods over the past month and it has been driving me insane.

A 4.3 update was ready from HTC but didn't go past integration before the 4.2.2 OTA hit so we were stuck with the older update.
Here's yesterdays article on the details of a possible release in 2 weeks. Assuming Verizon's 2nd attempt to certify takes significantly less long then it might happen.

Not for Verizon. There is the non-lte version rolling out. I think I read yesterday that the 7105 version was leaked. May 23rd (highly unlikely) is the rumored date for the OTA to start rolling out.
If you needed kit Kat, there are AOSP roms out now.

BTW if you are using your verizon note 2 for something other than verizon such as Straight Talk or AT&T or T-mobile, you can install the AT&T version on your phone. I have been using it and it works right out the box and its stable as well. It is called EZKat. Do NOT try it for Verizon since I have not tried it. The only one i tried it for is Straight talk.
EDIT: I am not sure what is working and what is not. I used the GPS today and it worked. The phone itself is working. The data is working. The apps are working so is the style. I have no had it crash on me YET.
