i do not know how to adjust the equalizer. any idea?

Ok I did and all I did was simply mive the bars on the equalizer

i did not know that i have to switch the setting between "clear audio" and equalizer.

Best free app I've tried that actually did anything was Equalizer by Smart Android Apps, LLC. Seems to work similar to DSP Manager, just less overall functionality.
Worked pretty good boosting volume in a movie I was just playing on my 3D.

Do you have to open this app every time for the volume to increase or once it is set higher you don't have to open the app anymore?

yes its in the general launcher settings.
i really love 'pie control' app and it frequently crashes because of low memory in my xperia u
so how can i lock an app in memory??

Try using app settings using xposed framework....
Search for it you will get it...
