Someone please help me, I rooted my phone... - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

I have a s4 schi545 and used the all in one tool for rooting my phone. It worked successfully, so I ran the install twrp 2.5.0.2 I then went to the cyanogen website and put a rom on my phone in a folder and tried to load it onto my phone. The cm loading screen just loops endlessly and I cannot get my phone back on, can someone please help me I am starting to freak out a bit.
edit:
I got it to open with recovery mode, now is there a way I can have it boot into the 'default os' ?

You flashed cyanogenmod in, so the stock rom is gone (unless you actually performed a nandroid backup which you could restore if you did). You are going to have to mount your phone to a PC and load a different rom to flash.

Did you do a factory reset when loading the new ROM? You can't carry data from one ROM to another. If you really want to go back, as stated above you'll need to use Odin to flash the stock firmware.

You may have to go back to stock if you didn't make the backup and start over.

You can restore your phone to factory here

Just make sure you follow the Op's directions carefully...

He didn't wipe ..

Thanks alot.
Before I went to sleep last night I rebooted in recovery and did a data wipe, I had no idea you had to clear the entire os and am happy to know the stock os is now gone, I was going to ask that today. What do you guys think of CM 10?
Thank you all so much.

I need urgent help, did i brick my phone

ok so yesterday i rooted my telus fascinate and i was going to isntall the MIUI rom. Following a guides instructions i installed rom manager and did a clockwork mod recovery, i then put the rom on my root file of my sd card and tried to install it through the "install rom from sd card option" on the app. Problem was i only got into the stock recovery mode and not the clockwork one it aslo gave me signature failures. I then followed the guide of this video:
http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7xV0yE9ZcA
when i installed the kernel everything went fine but then after i got into CW recovery and installed the rom my phone booted and it just kept repeating the normal splash screen (it said galaxy I9000 instead) followed by a screen that said something like cryogenic mod. I got freaked out from here and tried to install stock kernels to get my phone running. As of right now my phone will boot but only stay on the splash screen. I can not access recovery mode. I really need some help, thanks.
these are some of the files i used:
the rom i used,

the kernel i used,

thanks
the links are broken. Did you install a rom / kernal specifically for the telus fascinate?
i believe it could have been for the galaxy I9000,
ill try to fix the links btw
update*
i managed to get it into clockwork recovery mode by holding the dam buttons for a solid 5 minutes, after doing this i pressed factory reset, now my phone is stuck saying:
-- wiping data...
Formatting DATA
0_0' im not having a great day
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227807Until I know what version miui and kernal you are trying to flash, it's hard to help. It definately sounds like your phone is soft bricked tho.
Edit* Here are some links you should read up on.

it takes a little longer but i cant fix the links sorry.
So as of now i got i managed to wipe all of the data on my phone and i am in recovery mode, if i click reboot it does the same thing and stays on the boot screen. If i click the mod from the sd card it flashes from the normal model number screen to one saying cryogen mod. It then keeps going back and forth with a flash of a screen that has a bunch of commands on it for about 2 seconds

The rom you are trying to flash is for a i500 fascinate. I suggest taking the time to do alot of research before you turn the phone into an expensive paperweight. Read this link!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=921285
K well i ran that rom and it works now but he only problem is i dont have any cell service, do you know how to fix that. I know that you are probably laughing at my mild retardism at this subject but i am a big noob. As for what you said in your previous reply is their an MIUI version for the fascinate from telus because i basically rooted my phone so i could get this rom.
thanks
Update*
i followed the instructions on the link you posted and chose the rom for MIUI I9000 as the one i was going to install but when i istall zip from sd it only says installed correctly and then when i reboot it keeps changing from the sgh-t959d to the galaxy s cyanogen screen
yea your boot looped now. I would run the rom that worked just install the compatible radio and kernal for it and you should get cell service back.
ok thanks i got all my cell service back and i got the MIUI rom to work. Now to just ry to remember all the apps i had
Your welcome...glad you got everything working!

[q] help!! Note down

So ,im sorry but its a long story. Hopefully someone can help. My note is Rooted Ive been using TWRP. Everything had been fine until 2 days ago. I tried flashing a ROM i found on Goomanger.( I had been running liquid smooth) just wanted to try something different. Anyways it got stuck on a boot loop. Cant remember the name of the Rom. Anyways i was able to get back to recovery, thankfully. But when i wiped and flashed back to liquid smooth it would say optimizing apps, then it would reach a certain number then reboot and star all over again. So then i tried another Rom and the same thing happened. tried flashing back to stock rooted but it would turn on then completely crash and star booting up again. So finally i was able to flash paraandroid 4.1.2 and Gapps, but here is the kicker i have no service (AT&T) says cannot locate network, my IMEI is gone basically the cellular isn't working. Everything else works fine WiFi,apps, camera. Just cant make calls. I really need your guys help please.:crying:
If you have a suggestion please let me know, i hate using an old Iphone

Just odin back to stock. Get a complete factory stock image from the main sticky thread and flash it with Odin and Download Mode. There's a bug on one of the TWRP versions with 4.3-based ROMs that will put it into a bootloop by breaking device reboots. I was unable to flash my way out of the problem and was forced to do a complete reimage which solved all the problems and put me right back to clean-out-of-the-box state, then I reinstalled TWRP (though an older version before the boot loop bug) and re-flashed my custom ROM. The package I used was the stock image and Odin tool all in one .exe, just plug in to download mode and run it and it flashed bootloader, recovery, system, kernel, etc. all back to stock.

Thanks thats what i did, I just basically had to use KIES to use the emergency recovery, then root my phone again. My question is what version of TWRP causes this? cause i used the newest version i could find off GOO. My other concerne is, will it accept or be safe to use a custom ROM? Well i gues ill find out  THANKS AGAIN!
Everyone with the sgh-i717 is having problems with the latest TWRP and the most stable version is 2.5.0.0. Go with that one or you'll be starting all over again I imagine. And don't just stop at the download link in the OP's, read the thread and find out what's going on. The problems with TWRP have been going on for a while and the development threads have a lot of comments about the latest build causing problems. Good luck! :good:

I might have bricked my phone - Please help me recover it!

Hello,
I think I made a big error when attempting to install the Hyperdrive rom. I rooted the phone with Odin, then installed Safestrap. Then I rebooted into recovery to install the rom. I did everything perfectly up to this point. But then I decided I was going to wipe the cache. Except I accidentally wiped EVERYTHING. So I cannot boot into the phone because presumably the OS is deleted. The phone just freezes on the "Samsung Galaxy S4" splash screen.
I made a single mistake and now I cannot use my phone.
I think I could probably use Odin to flash the original OS on the phone right? But I would need the file and instructions on how to do it.
I really need my phone on a regular basis so if any of you could tell me what my options are and help me to recover, I would appreciate it.
If I could restore to MI1, that would be the easiest because then I could simply flash the Hyperdrive rom like I was planning.
Thanks. I hope someone can help me.
If it boots up to a splash screen, I'm pretty sure you can hold vol down+power+home to boot into download mode and odin.

there are some youtube videos on using ODIN and there are several discussion threads in XDA concerning odin and installing stock images back to the phone

[Q] Stuck in between ROMs.

Back Story: Just rooted my phone (after a factory reset). I also checked the root. Thought why not flash a ROM to get rid of all this bloatware. So I chose Cyanogenmod. Downloaded it to my phone through ROM Manager. It thought my phone storage was my phones internal memory. I looked up how to fix this but all I could find was this thread which just said use a different installer.(the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957600) Being to much of a noob to fix the problem I had no choice but to switch. I downloaded ROM installer. ROM installer recognized my SD card and downloaded CM (10.2) and google apps (4.3). Flashed a recovery, which I cant find for you because for some reason I cant look at the that menu in ROM installer(but it was the top one of the second set of files). Then I went into the installer and clicked both CM and google apps and turned on wipe data and cache but NOT backup existing ROM. It rebooted and I got the green android with installing under it. Some text in the top left I don't remember. Then under installer there was something like don't turn this device off. It stood on that menu for at least 30minutes and I knew something was up. So I looked it up and found this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957600). They said to factory reset it, which I did, so I thought whatever Ill do it again. I went into boot recovery canceled the installation and tried to factory reset.
Actual problem: The actual problem is it seems I am stuck in some kind of limbo. My phone works perfectly fine when I boot into recovery but when I try to factory reset or try to install CM again it just sits on that green android screen instead of going back to stock. Since I foolishly didn't back up my ROM as far as I know I can go back. I tried to look up what to do but I am truly stumped. I just want CM on my phone and I don't know what to do from here. Any ideas? If there is a thread that goes over this im sorry for reposting and please refer me to that thread. Otherwise thank you for any help.

You're going to have to use Odin to get back to stock MK2. Research how to do it. Then go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606501 and read the WHOLE thing. Pay special attention to the stuff typed in RED.
I can't believe you tried to do any of this with a mk2 phone...countless discussions on what you can and can't do with a S4 based on phone's firmware build number.

[Q] Help PLEASE!

Hi,
i recently installed CM on my samsung s3 using the installer. All went all. Until after about 2 weeks, the phone was not charging correctly. So i went into the settings and performed a factory reset. No i had not installed or used clockworks to back up my phone. This left my phone in an unusaul state, where there was no home screen, i could not access my apps, although i could access the quick settings tab. Moving on....i followed a guide to try and restore my phones orginal rom using odin. According to odin all was successful, however my phone was stuck in a boot loop and so would not continue into phone. i read up and saw if i installed clockwork i could wipe cache and this might help the phone. so i installed clockwork using odin again. however when i try and access clockwork through the recovery mode, it only loads into odin mode? so i am unable to load clockwork as well i think. I am very new and this and i know i have probably made many mistakes but we learn through our mistakes. So my question is: Could someone please help me get my phone back to its orginal state!? Thankyou very much for anyone that can offer their time and help,
Nick
