The Mysterious ROM is a ROM based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It exists on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 and Samsung I9100 and Samsung I9300 and Maguro and Tilapia and Hercules and Toro and i9100g and Manta.

Phone app keeps fc when I try to make calls... Anyone else experience this??

Yes... All calls fc and then signal times out as if I turned on airplane mode but comes back.

Yes. Can't really dirty flash. This is the 1st iteration I believe... If this used the new cm10 as a base they had the same issue in their last nightly when I looked in their thread...

Just confirming the same thing happening to me with a clean install.
You make a call, it goes through, then you get the FC, and you then lose signal completely for a few seconds.

Found a fix. Take the phone apk and telephony apk from the new cm10.1 build 2 it will work. All gravy now... Best aosp hands down.

Fix Dpi

1. Go to settings>interface>general >lcd density
2. step 1 change it to 240 hdpi
3. step 2 reboot it will go to cwm touch just hit the power button and navigate back to lcd density to finish the steps
4. Continue steps 3-6 at step #6 choose 240 thats the last reboot which will take you into recovery press the power button to reboot system

On the 182 DPI
the to blue bar not aligning up properly...
If this is worst thing on 1st build then no worries!

Read the instructions for fixing the dpi it should be 240 the instructions are under working I have no idea why thats happening i guess 182 wont work and this issue may stay even though a new build is ready. I guess we would have to modify it every time i release a new build lol Im not so wise at this im only 15 and i missed school so I will just build another and release a nightly because this one is so stable

the 182 dpi is running smooth on my fascinate. but dude you rock! like I said before, I've attempted to build this from source, but kept failing because of the fascinate not being within the source originally. now I'm attempting to build kernels for the fascinate. (semaphore kernel actually) just gotta get the right freakin' toolchain. I'm going to first attempt to build a kernel that's already within the source, then add the fascinate to it

nice, yeah I noticed it was the cm one, which is definitely nice, just needs a few mods
bro, I only wish I knew what you know when I was 15. I'm definitely envious of you all that are 13+ that are computer wizzes. ('course I'm only 24, so I'm not THAT old, lol)

Working good. Battery ruining a little warm and battery life needs improvement. All kernel related I guess but thank god there's an aosp rom! Also this is the first time I had the opportunity to use a liquid smooth rom. Thank you.

1. DOWNLOAD YOUR ROM
\\PA-3.99.1 RC 2-jewel stable built with GCC 4.7
*no need to flash superuser or super su
*led lights work now with the hardware key light
*issues still no hotstop but other then that everything else works
*fixed camera

*led light not working but it might be because i used two different sources for pa

2. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST PA 4.3 GAPPS PACKAGE

3. FACTORY RESET
If you are already on PA 4.3 you can skip this step.
4. INSTALL
Install the Rom, then Gapps, wipe caches, reboot.
The very first boot-up can take a while
THINGS THAT 4.3 BROKE
Cyanogens LED panel. The LED works of course but some of Googles new related code conflicted heavily with CM's. We wait and pick up their changes soon enough.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE FLASH KERNELS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. JWR KERNELS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH JSS ROMS!
Everything else seems fine.

Once I fix that bug with play store it should be smooth I been trying to build this for the longest this is the closes I have gotten of everthing working

I'm pretty sure it does lol well with my Roms I never had data issues to tell u the truth and this rom is pretty sick i recommend pa gapps lol
And the gay part is that google play doesnt want to download anything it keeps on giving u the 406 error

So any idea if there will be a fix for google play or will it be a new version of the Rom with a fix? And where is the recommended Gapps file, I downloaded a file from a couple days ago that was on Goo.
Are the tablet and phablet modes sized properly? Because that's been an issue with all the rootbox roms that have PA settings...

Idk I havnt tried that bit I did installed xy gapps and pa gapps and same issue

Ur prolly missing or got a bad com.google.widevine.software.drm.xml, it's in etc/permissions, can affect play store

°°For those flashing custom kernels°°
Be aware- Vanir includes a script that enables their own kernel tweaks. This script does not play well with flashing custom kernels. The solution!
Flash ROM
Navigate to- /system/etc/init.d/
Delete the file- 00kernelcompat
Reboot to recovery
Flash kernel
Profit!
You can also open the ROM zip on your PC before flashing and remove the file from the same directory then flash the ROM and you're good to flash the kernel.
**If you dirty flash between nighties, DO NOT wipe system or data before flashing the ROM. It will wipe gapps and the ROM install script won't be able to restore them**
That said, a clean flash is always recommended

I was able to connect to my stereo via Bluetooth on the 12/31 build. These are nightlies so something might be occasionally broken.
