I have flashed my s2 to Blazing kernel v10 and now in sometimes it suddenly stuck with a continues vibration when a call is receiving.
And also heat countinuesly while the phose not working.
Those cases only thing that can be done is removing the battery.

Flash another kernel,or stock.

When flashed Blazing kernel v9, v8 and the stock now, the phone is seems to be stuck in every few minutes.
It's then really hard to use the touchscreen and the video playback...
Jelly bean 4.1.2 running with the stock rom.

Clean the kernel using GS2kernelWipe script & then flash afresh a new kernel & see.

Can you please send me a link to download...
I just tried flashing the whole firmware using the odin.
But no considerable results.

Random Rebooting whilst connected to bluetooth

My sgs2 keeps randomly rebooting when connected to my sony car stereo via bluetooth, Im unsure whether it has only occurred on ics roms. But I have been on at least 3 or 4 ics roms and it has occurred on each.
Currently on lp8 and it is still doing it.
Has anyone else experienced this
sure the device is rebooting? often it just asks your pin again which is reported to be a kernel problem...
Yep. Boot animation kicks on after phone freezes up.

If you've tried a couple of ics roms and they still give the same freezes. Then I recommend you go back to a GB rom and stay with it if the Bluetooth is really that important to you.

Seems like the problem is 4.0.3. related. I'm on cm9 running 4.0.4 and all is well.

I am experiencing this as well. I currently have a SONY MEXBT3900U. This normally happens when I play music. My phone would randomly restart.
I read other posters are experiencing this as well. When I was on Gingerbread rom, I had no issues at all. Now that I upgraded to ICS Shostock2..I started to have the problems. I have not tested out on other roms yet like you did. I love the rom so much, I'm willling to stick with it instead of reverting back to gingerbread.
As a loop around..I'm just going to use the usb output. If not..the auxiliary when I have my pandora on.

Kernel !
Flash another kernel.
Yea, it sounds like a kernel issue. Flash a kernel like Siyah kernel, I seem to remember him fixing a touch screen issue recently. Also, you should really update your phone to something like XXLP8, better all rounder.
Chris.

Welcome Setup Screen

Hey folks. I'm having problems with not getting the setup welcome screen on factory reset. I have flashed countless roms over the past few weeks and never had a problem. It's ok when I flash custom roms but when I come to flash official rom on my sgs2 there's no welcome screen just goes straight to main screen. Please advise.
One more point us that this doesn't happen when I flash gingerbread official.

Please note that I am running ics official from 3uk

Thanks but that just reset my phone and formatted my sd cards. Still no sign of the welcome setup screen just boots and goes into main screen.
Still an issue
Try flashing a firmware with its stock rom..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Done that too. It only comes up when I load a custom rom, never official stock rom apart from official gingerbread. Bizarre I know
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Bizarre it is,
Using cwm format cache system data preboot
Wipe dalvik
Download stock ROM flash using Odin.
If still issues I'll be going crazy lol
Arrrgh the problem still persists. I'm beginning to wonder if this has something to do with the root directory.

Why is this so important?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
It's not overly important but it's bugging me. I generally know my way round Android but this has really stumped me. It's bothersome.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
The welcome-screen-intro-thingy is part of the Google apps package - if Google apps aren't installed you wont get it. Are Gapps installed on your rom? If yes, try re-installing them.
They are, I'm running stock but have rooted and installed them to check if I was missing something.
Sadly nothing solved. I'm giving up on this now.

Galaxy Note camera issues

Hi Guys
I'm having issues with my camera on the Unlocked international GT-N7000.
I'm running ICS 4.0.4 and I flashed it using odin.
It says "camera failed" and sometimes "running media scan" and then crashes. Any ideas on how to fix this?

is the rom ure using an official version?
cus on many ics custom roms or ported roms the camera does not work and due kernel issues u might get problems with the media scan as u statet
so try a samsung stock ics firmware i guess its available for the note
Yeah it is the German official ROM. I'm going to re flash the rom as it gave me an issue on the first flash. I hope that works.

Well that didn't work. I'm also noticing a few crashes here and there and reboots. Any idea why?

which method did u use to flash the rom?
where did u got it?
check out this page (if you dont already know it) http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
its the first place to search for samsung stock roms
I used odin to flash it.
Usually get my roms from Samsung-updates.com
I'll have a look there thank you.

Thanks Jiffer. I found the South African ICS rom on there. (It was only released yesterday) All seems to be well. Everything is now working. Thanks for the help.

[Q] kernels

I am so so sorry if this has been asked before but my gf sg2 is giving me a head ache.
How the hell do you put a kernel on the sg2 I have rooted it and flashed cm10 and all is working lovely but I would like to put here a good kernel on what saves her battery etc Think my problem is I am so use to doing it on my htconex by fastboot its thrown me. Does anyone recommend a good battery savin kernel and thanks again
You can flash a kernel by Odin, or CWM. We don't have fastboot here

You can try dorimanx or siyah, just find a zip file and flash through cwm recovery

Yeah, I usually wipe the cache and dalvik. I would suggest dorimanx since it gets updated regularly, just watch which one you flash. There are different numbers for different versions of android (ie gb, ics and jb).
And for battery settings, download extweaks from the play store after you flash it and find a thread that has battery tweaks

Didn't go to plan DL dorimanx kernel wiped dalvik cache and cache flashed the zip it rebooted and the I get a black screen with the bottom keys started flashing then I got it back into cwm which was dorimanx cwm by this time and flashed cwm10 and gaps and got it back what am doing wrong I feel like crying
You probably downloaded a version which isn't compatible with your Rom. Flash siyah 4.1.5 with that Rom and it should work
I'm sure there's a version of dorimanx too that's compatible with the Rom you want..but I'm not too familiar with dorimanx versions..so..
link to siyah www.gokhanmoral.com
Use the .zip version of siyah 4.1.5 and flash it via cwm.
Good luck.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Thought I'd take a screen shot to make it easier
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Oh. Okay..I'd assumed you'd tried the latest dorimanx kernel, 7.4? I'm not too sure and were trying an older ROM which it didn't support, and hence suggested siyah 4.1.5
Try either dorimanx 7.4 ( if you haven't yet) or siyah 5.0 ( has a few variants..try the rc1 zip file) and it should work unless you're doing something wrong which it doesn't seem like you are, or the latest cyanogen build isn't supported by either of those two kernels, which is incredibly unlikely.

If you are trying to find a good setup take a look at rootbox jb 3.0 and dorimanx 7.4. Very stable with good battery life.

Haha..I'm glad. Would've probably saved you a while if you'd mentioned which version of CM or dori you'd tried at the outset itself..but heyy. As long as we got there eh. Hope she enjoys it. Cheers mate.
EDIT. I hope you / she knows that you'd probably get pretty bad battery life for the first cycle or so on a new kernel. Let it run by a couple of battery cycles or so, and battery life should get better. And 'reset fuel guage chip' in this app called ExTweaks helps if you're on siyah or dorimanx
Yup, give it at least 3 battery cycles before you judge the battery life
