hey there I'm new member of Xda and I hope that my problem can be solve after I made my post here.
I'm facing problem to root my HTC desire Z.(please don't ask me to buy a new phone)
Long ago i knew that to root this phone need to downgrade to 2.2.
I did it and manage to downgrade it but when i tried the method that shared other member on xda to root it, it just fail.
I really tried several website and pages but still get the same result, some are real close to get it but...
I think most of the thread are not up to date as nowadays not much people still using htc desire z.
So i beg You Guys expert in rooting lend me your hand please..
can you show me the ways to root it

Hey I am a newbie and trying to root my HTC evo 4g I have the new update 3.7 and android version 2.2 and tried unrevoked and it said it couldn't create the goddamn marker whatever that means is there another way or different way to do this that's easy, please help me asap....thanks alot.

I dont know much about the Evo, but try the Forum, as there are many guides over there as well as the WIKI, if you dont know where they are, ask me

I have recently bought HTC Desire HD, branded with T-Mobile logo on startup and bloatware, but otherwise unlocked (no sim-lock, no network lock), and I did a terrible mistake and updated it from 2.1 I think, to 2.2 and then to 2.3, software number 2.37. Now I want to root it and install custom rom and I realize that it will be much more complicated since I now need to create a goldcard and then downgrade. I read all the threads about downgrading and temp-root and goldcards and I'm asking, if anyone can help me out here by just being online on Skype when I'm doing this, because there will be questions and something can always go wrong and I don't want to wait hours or days for somebody to just tell me "your question has already been answered, use the search option". So if anyone who has already rooted a phone, preferably several times, preferably a branded phone and with 2.37 software, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not a newbie in computers, also used to work on web design and I'm currently a photographer residing in Tallinn, Estonia, so nice to meet you fellow XDA member who is willing to help me out. I can donate some money, if everything goes well, that is not a problem at all.

Hi iv had this phone for a few months now and i am having a horrible time finding any information about it, its like its in limbo
has any one attempted to root it i have found no information about rooting it or any one even trying to root it
is it possible that not many of these devices were made and im one of the few people that have one?

I have a question i have a Htc One M8s and i want to root it, since im new to rooting i tried the easy things and tried to root it via this one klick root programms. Well since my m8 model is really unknown i dknt know how to root it. I red something about the bootloadet on htc dev but it also isnt available for the M8s....
I red this article on the forum, can i just use it for my M8s? Or is it just for the M8?
