TW exchange without security here - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

http://db.tt/1qvS6NfK
http://db.tt/tNFW36RS
In the two links above are the sec_email and sec_exchange files to bypass security on TW roms. These work on deodexed and odexed roms. To install, first remove any exchange accounts on your phone. Then use a file manager to rename the stock versions and then paste these apks into system app. Change permissions to 2 checks on the top and 1 on the middle and bottom (first check boxes). If on an odexed rom you must also delete the odex files for the two apks. Reboot and you are ready to go.
I take no credit for this, I just used the patching script on XDA and then pulled them from my rom soni could keep using them when I flash new roms.

Worked like a charm. Thanks

Does not have to be deodex just rename or delete email odex files too, worked like a champ on CR 1.3 odex

I tried it on an odexed stock rom and it didnt work. I guess that's why. Thanks, ill update the post

ICS themed 15 toggle/pulldown/battery/signal for 4.0.3

Got brave and flashed the zip in the OP here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1571595 from skyrocket forums. Works fantastic on DaGr8's alpha 1.
The settings for each button can be accessed by longpressing them.
The toggles can be re-ordered using the Quick Panel Settings in your app drawer.
Credit goes to the dev remf4i I just pulled it from his thread and tried it.
For the odin flashed odexed version that has been reported as a successful to make it work.

Try this:
Extract the systemui and QuickPanelSettings.apk and Ik95-res.apk via root explorer. Install systemui and quick panel settings in system/app then rename the systemui.odex to systemui.odex.Bak and push Ik95-res to system/framework. Reboot and report back if it worked. Just a shot in the dark.

I honestly don't know as I'm still on alpha 1. I just flashed the toggles before posting.
Wonder if it works on the Odin ICS.

Thanks for trying. I bet the ROM has to be deodexed. I am going to try it on dagr8's alpha 2 when I get home.
Edit: Looking at the collective's solaris prime ROM thread it appears to work on that ROM as well.

I believe you're right that it has to be deodexed. I'm glad I made a nandroid backup first

Chances are that the systemui.apk in the mod is deodexed. To get it to work on the Odin ICS, you probably just have to rename the systemui.odex to something like systemui.odex.bak and then flash the mod from CWM. Or push it manually using root explorer after renaming the odex file.

Update: well it gave me the 14 toggle mod but it's in stock green and I also lost my blue battery/signals (back to green).

That's weird. Did you flash it or did you pull the systemui.apk out of the zip and manually do it?
Flashed over alpha 2 fine for me. Looks really good and the toggles I use most are right where they should be. Thanks for the tip on the mod
Works fine on Alpha 2.

How do I remove mods, like mashup?
If you made a nandroid backup before you installed the mod then just BSR to your backup
right, make a backup, before any major changes
otherwise it's SBF time for you

or you can flash the stock. mashup includes the stock zip incase you wanna go back..it was called Stock (2.3.5) if i'm not mistaken..
Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk
All mashup is, is a build.prop change out. Just use root explorer and pull the build.prop file from the rom ur using and copy and past into your system file.
Sent from my MB870 using Tapatalk 2
If it's just mashup you don't like you could flash another build prop mod like 8 touch points if you're on a supported rom, if not just reflash the rom you're on.

All of the apks in a flashable zip file (I8190XXAMA2-golden-signed.zip) have been deodexed, installing it won't remove odex files in your /system/app and /system/framework unless you install Odex-remove.zip. You don't need odex files once you install I8190XXAMA2-golden-signed.zip. And yes it works very well.

Ok sorry mate. Just strange how the golden-signed.zip doesnt remove the .odex files because when deodexing it packs the .odex file inside the apk. Do u mind testing the rom ive made mate? Or shall I just release it and hope someone else will try it

No no, you install apks that are packed in I8190XXAMA2-golden-signed.zip there are no odex files here because they have been deodexed. Then install Odex-remove.zip.
First booting takes about 5 minutes but don't worry if it freezes again in a PIN code dialog menu.just wait.

[REQ]Stock Theme for JellyBeans?

Why dont you guys use a theme porter? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526
I would put this folder in the C:/ drive after you extract it.
Download a stock rom and move all the file from /framework and /app into the theme porter (you will see /framework and /app folders inside of the "old" and "new" folders.) The stock rom goes into the "old folder"
Now do the same for Beans and put it into the "new" folder.
Run the script and do option 1.
Put those "new" files back into Beans rom and flash.
Make a back up first, just to be safe. I never tried it on so many apps.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Quicksettings icons 4.3 / 4.4.2 [Odexed & Deodexed]

Hi all,
I've found the S5 statusbar quicksettings icons and wanted to share them with you.
They've been initially for kitkat but I made an other package to make them flashable on 4.3 roms.
This will replace the quicksettings icons only (as shown in the screenshots below), nothing else for now.
Tested on GS4 i9505,i9500 and on AT&T ( test and post feedback please)
How to flash:
Put the zip in your internal/ external Sd card
Boot into recovery (CWM, TWRP, Philz Touch)
Choose the zip
Flash and reboot
