Hi, I just wondering when is ubuntu team switching to MIR instead of Android graphical service. I read something but it butI have no clear if this movement its going to suposse any change in the smoothness, if maybe its gonna improve it or not. Any realease date for that?

well... it (XMir) will be on 13.10 (saucy) Desktop along with unity (next). X11 server on touch/phones

Since sony seem to release a flagship each 6 months.. what is the support expiration for the z2? can we expect getting at least 2 years support?
Depends on what you mean by support? I'd hope we'll see support for new Android versions for at least another 18 months, but I suppose it depends if Google move to x64 for Android M .

at least 18 month..... heh... wishful thinking.
Z got just 12 moths of android updates.
Z2 will get "L", no doubt about it. Don't think we will see "M" on our Z2 officially (even if the hardware allows).
Xperia Z launched March 2013 latest official update (4.4.2) May 2014 and Xperia blog has it that 4.4.4 is on its way.
18 months official support
ends in mid october 2015 as noted by sony customer support

You are not very patient, are you? I just came from Samsung to Sony and I've dealt with waiting a long time for firmware updates. The Oreo update blog post came out on August 31, so it's only been under 4 months. And they rolled out the update to the XZ Premium on October 23, so 2 months. It takes a while to roll out firmware updates with their pristine optimization to 10 devices at once.

My device (COL-L29) didn't receive any updates since April, did Huawei stopp updating the device?

There's an August 2020 update coming soon. I've got two Honor 10's here, one has already been updated. Officially the Honor 10 has been available for two years in may (released may 2018) and I kind of expected nothing after april/may 2020 as I expected just 2 years of updates.
Anyone here play PubG? The performance getting bad at pubg.. And yeah there's no update after emui 10.1
I doesn't play any games on my device but I format it every two weeks or three to maintain the performance, it's an issue with all android phones

Still didn't get any updates
Hey,
I downloaded days ago a app on my huawei p20 wich shows me some app infos and i found something interesting. The app says i installed android system in july and updated to android 9 07 August 2018 but i bought my phone in december 2018 and in my country android 9 was not even relesed in august how does this work does the app not work or do phones when they get produced in china get updated before they get sold? I would like to show you an screenshot but i dont know how this works.
