Good kernel
Oh Good JOB. The Kernel 1.0.7 Work Great.
And looking for new option, and benchmark point with Governor interactive/noop using OC Min 200 - Max 1.2ghz.
Everything work fine.
Governors: Don't have Hotplugx.
No lag, no bugs & very smoothly.
I can confirm Wifi - IP - Mac Address: work fine without no problems.
AND I WILL TEST IT, & SEND FOR YOUR NEW RESULTS.
P/S:
1: You can use the default BootSplash SONY? Or you can create a separate version BootSplash SONY?
2: What do you think about the CHIP NovaThor OC up to 1.2GHz? It may damage the CPU if used continuously? And efficient?
Thank you. THIS KERNEL IS VERY GOOD.
©Sony XPERIA™ P ® Jelly Beans.

Test it,
Not sure about the benchmarks but the performance one is really laggy in Real Racing 3!!
thnx about the recovery by the way but it would be great if you implant aroma file manager or GUI preference in recovery,
also having adb or at least USB connection (the USB mount) in recovery is a must which your recovery does not have such things (can't connect to PC)
thnx for this kernel hope you fix these things soon

Overclock is stable?

Cool! And OP says that CWM is 6.0.1.2 while it's 6.0.2.8 now
---------- Post added at 04:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:27 PM ----------
AFAIK, none of the devices supported has 5GHz connectivity, so, I guess, this feature is redundant.

Recommended Governor - I/O Schduler for performance edition and power saver edition??? @Pwng3

Nice job thanks for your work

I want to know if this kernel have no bugs, lags in games or anything else, who can tell me that and anyone have a link for me to unlock bl on JB?
Because i wajt maybe unlock my bl

The light is supposed to go off once you have booted into the system. Could you please try installing the Illumination Receiver along with the Illumination Bar Notification app? It has an option to turn on/off the LED bar along with extra control for notifications. In the meanwhile, I'll take a look at my source.

I am using the stock performance version of this kernel for a week now. it's the best kernel I have used on my xp so far, and I have tried them all
I am running it with the stock based miui v4 and it's giving me a lagfree ui and good battery life, both much better than with the stock kernel.
Got a question about the governors in this kernel though, maybe you can help me; I'm setting up profiles in setcpu and was wondering which gov/shed to set for screen-off. In another thread I read gov with -x at the end support deepsleep, others don't? And -q at the end means it has dual-core support (can turn off one core)? Any recommendations?
Thanks for supporting our device @Pwng3! Please keep updating this fine ics kernel!

I'll do that once I learn that the ICS version is booting
Very smooooth and stable
I like it and I excited with cpu frequency
But unfortunately Wi-Fi can't turn on!
Please FIX Wi-Fi
Thanks a lot
I'm on CM9
very nice kernel and Wifi Not work
(please OC 1200 Mhz)
I'm using stock ICS .54
this kernel is fast, smooth, high scored with benchmark :good:

I don't have a problem with wi-fi

working so far so good. thanx for this great work. by the way there is no ondemandx governor. i am using it with interactivex + sio. battery is really good. wifi, bt, mobile data working. couldnt test nfc.especially i was looking for a kernel with more speed steps. then i found yours.
wifi doesn't work with Cyanospacemod rc2 both flash via fastboot and cwm..
..the rest is ok especially the scalability of cpu!!

Cyanospacemod comes with the Wifi modules pre-installed which is causing the conflict. The Kernel will work fine on other ROMs.

I'm on CM9 FXP214 and I have Wi-Fi issue too...
@behzad.bz @irro94 @taylan08
I'm sorry about the issues. It has been fixed in this version for CM9 : Transcendence-CM-WiFi-Fixed.zip
Please check and confirm
Right now I'm compiling the OC version of the kernel. I've got a horrible net connection which barely gives me 10kbps. So it might take a while.

In one moment, u became my new god. :good::victory:
Also, i have one suggestion Delete 200mhz step and add the 100mhz one, when the cpu it's idle will drain less power, and will scale faster to 400/600 mhz when the governor needs more mhz, without lag :good:

Another thing O_O i noticed the 1.4ghz step...i think it's not safe

Wow can't wait for this. We all need a good JB Kernel. zRAM and so many frequency oversteps, this has really got me excited!! The race is wide open . Thanks for starting this project. Good Luck .
Hey why not make a combo?
All powersave frequencies with OC?
I would like to have a combo like that!
Also add 100MHz.. very efficient at battery saving
Look forward to it
keep up the good work
LED ?
Working LED on JB ?
Yeah, make it combo so I don't have to downloaded both.

I wish I could do that. But its not possible to accommodate more values in the frequencies table in the Overclocked Version.
And I did not add 100MHz because it causes phone to lag and be unresponsive on most Governors.

redraw is related to ROM, not kernel

okay, i have 1 feedback. could you make this kernel all modes can do multitask?

Testing with skernel now, I don't think it has so much redraw problem.
I couldn't install skernel with cwm, ended by fastbooting. Please check. No any led lights when I tried to restart phone.

I can't decide what version to download
I care about my battery life but I like smooth experience too...
what the people here recomend?
I use Ultimate Rom V8 (JB)
Testing for the last 20 hrs, speed is snappy overall. Multitasking (of over two apps) as pointed out isn't that great. Interactivex+SIO @ 1.2 Ghz - 200 Mhz seems the ideal for battery life which I see is better among others given the performance.
I think keyboard redraws is associated to kernel partially. I had lesser withdraws with the kernel Ashwin's Ultimate Rom. It has something to do with destroying processes which is still buggy in the port as of now.

It all works fine except the wifi I have tried the "Transcendence-Stock-WiFiFix.zip"
I am available for testing.
See you soon thanks.
Hi @vishnu and thanks for your job.
I recently bought a Go even if this is an older phone but i always have more powerfull smartphone. My Go is for 'missions outside' so i succeeded to install the ICS .54, i don't want the JB or more recent ROM. I succeeded to root my Go downgrading kernel ... So how to get a ics kernel with CWM incorporated inside knowing that my bootloader isunlocked and i could flash your kernel if it is compatible. Is your stock kernel able to work on my GO ? :good:
Best Regards
