First, this theme I did when I had my ex DHD phone, know it's a GN2 version.
Note PLZ : ( IN General )
- It's best to flash the theme over a fresh install of your rom.
- Flash rom, reboot once ( wait a few ) reboot once again, flash nothing.
- BACKUP, backup, backup.
- wipe cache & dalvik cache, then flash the theme, then reboot.
- If theme is flashed over other theme ( even older versions ) and/or other mods, it could cos animation bootloops.
- Boring ( I know ), but it'll save time.
#New Theme Version : KitKat_View_V2_Light Weight
-Light Weight V2 theme should work on almost all latest KitKat roms ( that's why it's light weight ).
-Issues : I've tested it on 3 different roms : some roms get all included theme apps fully themed , other partially , other nothing, others FC ( c'est la vie ).
-So, for the reason above, I've removed some apps like ( Calculator.apk, SystemUI.apk, ... )

Thanks, and you missed this part btw ( works in normal mod only, I didn't theme tablet & phablet mode ) in first post, and it's cos grilleld is making a lot of changes and I prefer to wait a bit, but I will work on it ( I think ! ), thanks again.

I've been looking at my changelogs ( I keep an exact log of every step I take ) and I haven't found the file u were looking for.

One way or another the v2.0 XML editings didn't show up.
So it took a while for me to finally make it work.
In v2.0 nothing showed up again and the UI stayed the same.
These are the changes I made but wouldn't appear:
=> Centered clock
=> Changed clock & battery text color
=> Notifcation drawer black with 25% transparency.
If anyone is able to look into the file and PM me where my mistakes are, ro why it ain't showing any changes, the SystemUI.apk is for download here.

I think you forgot to save the xml file
And yes did you actually copy the resource.arsc file to the original systemui.apk?

I used the original resources.arsc , not the one in the modded SystemUI.apk
And I checked it and the XML strings are showing what I wanna see.
Maybe there's a mistake in updater script?

I pushed SystemUI.apk that wouldn't flash into system/app. But it resulted in a bootloop one way or another....
I guess there's something wrong in the .apk file, so the XML-editing has to start from scratch again... FML

it is caused by if u have made status bar 100% transparent then it affects lock screen keep it 50% thats good if user wanna make it 100% they can use xblast tools or gravity box whtever

Status bar is not 100%, it is a PNG, a transparent image with a black shadow, it is like 90%
the original is also a PNG but totally 100% transparent.
Original : faedo.png
I replaced it with : renz_statbarbg.png
The statusbar in lockscreen is completely empty
I think I need to look in framework-res, need some rest for a while

3. Reboot into recovery
4. Goto Wipe options
5. Wipe Data,Cache and Dalvik-Cache.

7. It should take 1-2 minutes for installation to complete.
8. Reboot and Complete Setup wizard and Enjoy.

Apex launcher , Google search.
Downloaded the ROM and so far it's working okay for me. Though it's something minor, is it possible for you to correct the icons in the dialer? The icons for "Videocall" and "delete" look stretched, and the numbers look unsharp around the edges.

Yeah I tried on PureX rom, Perfect, everything's seems to be working, will inform ya if somethings not, and I miss 5 buttons nav bar, and bro can you make power menu darked like hell dark

Well i'm working on it, it's 50% dark themed and i'm digging to know how to fully theme it in Dark .
For 5 button navbar, give me time ( 1-2 hours ) and i will give you the solution .

Same as the answer above, yes you can, but you may get " outdated " apps .

It's an overlay, it won't be deleted after factory reset, it's in System partition. That's why .

I don't know the version of it, Not Z3 owner, But if it's the same OS version, yes you can .
But, DO NOT flash Themed framework, because it's for old version .
When you install it on newer version, the apps ( if they're updated in your new version ) will revert back to older version ( the ones in the zip ) .

So this Rom has complete theming is working with Fingerprint Support ? Saw theming option in Op's VDO.
Those Members who has tested plz reply. I am really frustrated using ported rom without fingerprint security.
Only note 5 ported rom/s were having theming & Fingerprint but base was 5.1.1.
