if you did the following I am not sure how to help:
format system, data, cache etc. (best I guess would be to do a mega wipe)
flash slim
without reboot flash slim gapps
wipe cache, dalvik (just to be sure)
fix permissions (normally not necessary)
reboot

yes, I do agree with @galaxys3lover. Automatic scripts are goods, but in this particular case a manual wipe was better.
i am a lill paranoic ... i do "erase everything" before install a new rom, and I try follow the developer instructions (if he say ... full wipe is the recommended ... yeah .. i will do ... if we will have fc or problems or strange things... no regrets ... lol)
@chrismast i was reading the slim rom thread and in instructions:
"From another JB or ICS Rom to SlimBean
Download device_x.x.zip, slim_gapps.zip.
Enter CWM, wipe data, format system ( in mounts and storage)
Flash Device_x.x.zip***, then MUST flash slim_gapps.zip (other files optional)
*** - If the flash is too quick ( < 5 seconds or so), reflash device before flashing common or other zip files."
*** i do really doesn't understand this 5 secs ... some other xda slim user could bring us a enlightment for this question. maybe a slim cm aosp based rom particular issue? i don't know
"Upgrading Slim Bean
Unless we specify otherwise in changelog
Reboot to recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache then just flash your device zip."
and the 4.2.2 Build 6 ChangeLog
"Attention:
Due to the updated TRDS 2.0 code, you HAVE TO download and flash the new gapps packages this time."
references
http://slimroms.net/index.php/installation
http://slimroms.net/index.php/changelog
maybe a "forget step"? or the problem was related to Boeffla Kernel
"Note: This kernel is only for Samsung based Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.x) roms!!! Do not install it on CM or AOSP based roms!!!
Also do NOT install it on any Samsung 4.2.x based Roms!!! You will just get a boot loop!!!" - a quote of @AndiP - red color is not mine ... lol

Not at all, i will share personal experience.
Few days ago... I flashed SlimRom and everything was OK, however, due to not reading and having an anxiety about having Boeffla, i flashed Boeffla from CWM and i get a Soft Brick but thank i had battery, i could revive via Back up and Restore (NAndroid).
Conclusion: Boeffla do not support AOSP nor AOKP
"would appreciate correct me if I am wrong, if not, also let me know" :good:

Dude remember one thing, when you flash ROMS restart the ROM then come back to recovery and flash wifi fix that always works.. Let ROM settle.. Also when you flash addon package too many bloatware come you can remove them by using flashtool... Also its a good practice to wipe your MMC clean before you install a new ROM.. BTW V8.2, is it Xperia S port? if it is then there is 8.3 update available. All you need to do is flash it over existing V8.2 (not a fresh install)

Jelly Blast V3.0.3 BUG BUG BUG

headphone jack does not work !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what ?! Opening a new thread with saying what your problem is, without providing a logcat or something won't solve your problem ! ! ! ! !

So what is your problem EXACTLY ? ? ? ? ?

headphone jack does not work after you install this rom
This is a known problem.Wait till dev finds a solution.
On Jellyblast 3.0.3
caution!
DO NOT REMOVE CHROME!
I did like 6 reflashes of this ROM and couldn't figure out what was causing the random forcecloses. And then it hit me - the first thing I always did was removing (pretty useless anyway) Chrome. I have no idea how and why but this triggered all sorts of problems. Did a fresh reinstall and left the damn thing alone - working perfectly now.
Ok this is getting on my nerves. The phone restarted when making a call, then rebooted to black screen and I had to wipe cache/data to make it boot again. These custom ROMs and kernels are nice and all but perhaps one should wait for a matured release that is relatively bug free
i flash simplicity v2 first and reboot , after that i flash jelly blast . that will make headset working ( sr my english )

For now I suggest you to install cm9 because is almost full working. I don't personally recommend you cm10 as it's in a development phase and presents issues.
To install cm9, :
1)copy the latest fxp tom on your phone
2)extract from the fxp file you downloaded the boot.img and flash it via flashtool
3) enter recovery wipe cache, dalvik cache and do a factory reset.
4) install cm9 and after that install immediately gapps. Google for gapps and make sure that you install the one for ics.
5) reboot and enjoy!
If you want to install the cm10 just do the same procedure with cm10 fxp latest files and install gapps for jb.

First of all remember that the codename for Sony Xperia Sola is Pepper. Don't install any other's devices firmware because you will have serious troubles.
So go here: http://dfiles.eu/folders/H4B5M4XR0
Download the file named FXP216-cm-9-20130419-UNOFFICIAL-pepper.zip
Transfer the file you downloaded on you phone.
From the file you downloaded extract the boot.img file and place it on your desktop.
Open flashtool. Click fastboot mode and flash the boot.img.
Once done flashing the file, turn on your device and press continuously volume down button. You will enter in cmw.
Wipe cache, do a factory reset and from advanced menu wipe dalvik cache.
After that, go to install zip from sdcard.
Find the file you previously transferred on you phone and install it.
Reboot and you are done.
For any issues let me know.

Thank you mate, I will try your suggestion because I'm new with CM custom rom.
Hello!
I've got Sola with Unofficial JB stock rom by @munjeni (his kernel too, ofcourse). And I've got couple of questions:
1. Does 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Cyanogenmod 10.1 for Xperia Sola MT27i works with Munjeni's kernel or should I flash the one inside CM build? Apparently there some bugs there , like wifi and bluetooth.
2. Can I install CM 9 on my current kernel?
3. What's the best option here , CM9 (stable) or CM10.1?
Thanks in advance for answers, I realize these are noob questions, but I'm just netering the world of flashing :/

Sorry dear… I just share tested things for i9515…
Does the imperium kernel work with the Wizcyan rom? Right now I use the i9515L kernel since the i9515 has wifi problems... But that doesn't mean I don't have any problems right now. The phone gets random restarts, bluetooth isn't working, as well as the hotspot. So, will this kernel fix these problems?

I installed the kernel and now everything works fine. Thank you very much!
Hello, Cristian here, i want to thank you very much for your contribuition to our version of the s4 device whick is I9515 Value edition.
Already downloaded the stock kernel and all i hope is to be compatible with the latest version of wizcyan 4.1. But as far as it seen, should be effective unto this aspect and overall usage.
I will reply after i install the stock rom over clean install wizcyan 4.1, including the mini update attached to their official post.

Dear
1.Using TWRP wipe Dalvik & Cache, System, Internal memory (optional)
2.Flash the ROM you want (followed by Aroma in some cases)
3.Wipe Dalvik & Cache
4.Flash the Kernel (Stock or Imperium)
5.Wipe again Dalvik & Cache
6.Reboot and wait for the first boot
7. If you want to install updates then do it at the end..
As i said before, this method, including all other attempts in making the usage of stock kernel active was basically rejected by this S4 JFVELTE I9515 VALUE EDITION phone and will not work no matter what.
The good news is that the Imperium kernel is functioning well and as far as i observed, it behaves fine. I will keep testing its functions and if i will find any bug i will post it here.
Thanks.

Imperium kernel works for you...That's nice....i personally tested both the kernel...works great for me...
Everything is functioning very well, except for sim card, i get the message : the sim card was ejected so i have to press on restart.. it is too often, i do not understand why i have checked the sim card. Using the imperium kernel for wizcyan 4.1.
