[How To] Add Custom Animations And Boot Animations To Your Favorite Builds (easy)

So i decided to stop bothering the DEVs to change the animation i didnt like and do something about it
Tired of you old animation? or wanna get rid of one you dont like? now we can! (thanks to MagnusRagnarok )
HOW TO(ui animations):
-Back up your entire Android folder (build)
-Rip the framework-res.apk from the build you wish to customize (system/framework)
-Download the animation of choice.
-You will get a folder named "anim"
-Now open the ripped framework-res.apk (right click on it, and select "open archive") using 7zip, or any other program.
-Drag the "anim" folder (the animation you downloaded) into /res folder in your framework-res.apk. This will replace the files currently in /res/anim.
-Then push the modified framework-res.apk back to the phone.
-Then reboot
This was tested, and im currently using the fly in animation with Mdeejay clean sense.
DOWNLOADS ARE ATTACHED BELOW.
flyin.zip - flyin animation
bounce.zip - bounce animation
anim.rar - flip animation
fold.zip - fold animation
animstock.rar - stock animation

Looking for some install help.. I used the root explorer method, and have moved the updated boot file 'hTC_bootup_one.zip' into /system/customize/resource, and using the explorer can see the image files are updated appropriately. However, when I reboot, the stock HTC boot screen shows. Not sure how to get it to use the updated .zip while which I am able to verify is in place..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hi,
sorry for tardive response
on mine, i just :
renamed the hTC_bootup_one.zip in hTC_bootup_one.original.zip , just to have a backup
then, i placed the new hTC_bootup_one.zip in /system/customize/resource/
be carefull about properties : 'rw- r-- r--'

Hello All,
With some helpful advice from these forums, I was able to replace the China Unicom boot animation from my Xperia ZL with a stock version. FYI, this was located in /system/media on my phone.
However, I still have the China Unicom shutdown animation playing on shutdown. Any ideas on where this might be, and how to remove/replace it?
Please help me get this annoying Chinese branding off my phone. I would sincerely appreciate it.
Pure White bootanimation added!
