[kernel][experimental] at&t - HTC One X+

Hello,
Just putting the word out that I've built hxore for AT&T
I can't test it (I do not have the AT&T version) so you'll need to two things to test this:
1) Bravery!
2) A copy of a kernel.img you know works, and a backup of your kernel modules
Here's the post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42630684&postcount=782
Please feedback in the kernel thread.
Apologies in advance if it doesn't work! Don't get your hopes up!

First one didn't work due to my boundless stupidity
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42658745&postcount=796
The version in the link above therefore has a significantly better chance of working! Brave testers wanted!

git link please dude, might cherrypick into my ATT kernel, if that's ok?

Umm. It's going to be tricky because I merged all my commits from the international kernel into one big patch...
But here: https://github.com/bedalus/ATnT/
Also I've had no confirmation yet that it's actually working!
I think you'd be better off cherry picking from the hxore repo

I'll give it a shot.

fastboot is a pile of aids on my work laptop. I'll give this a shot at home.
Just a suggestion, would this get more of the right kind of exposure in the development forum? I think a lot of the flashaholics don't bother with a given device's "general" forum.

Thanks, the new versions been shown to have a serious fault already. But once I get it working, I'll continue the AT&T release announcements in the main thread.

Keep it up. You'll get it eventually!
Sent from my HTC One X+

I'm going to continue to post the AT&T test builds in the main thread from now on.

Let's get this kernel built from source!

Hey guys... I just wanted to see if anyone is already working on getting the kernel to compile..
You can find the source here: https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/exynos/ as stated in an earlier thread.
I'm currently getting my computer reformatted and getting my build environment set up. I've built from source before, but never for a kernel. Hoping to get the ball rolling on this! Cheers! :good:
By the way, I think we should all start hanging out in #nexus10 on freenode irc. Collaboration FTW
EDIT:
#Nexus10 already exists....

I was unsuccessful my first go around :/ I'm gonna keep trying though!

Yeah, really just need the kernel config off the device. We'll have that soon enough though.
It builds fine for me.
I've mirrored the kernel source on GitHub as well, chirayudesai/android_kernel_exynos

[ROM][4.2.2][JDQ39] Evervolv AOSP | 3.2.0 | Build #1 for Galaxy S2 i9100 [5/4/2013]

Hey,i compiled this rom and i've been running this rom for the past week, and i found it really good,so decided to share with y'all
For those that don't know what Evervolv is, Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROM. We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this ROM is community driven and and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors.
It only basically has T-Mobile Theme Chooser, rest is full AOSP
This is a clean, slick, extremely minimal, superfast rom with great battery life.If you are looking for xyz feature, you should probably look elsewhere!
Right now the current source we are working on is Jellybean (Android 4.2.x).

Could you point me to an aosp ROM for s2 which supports this feature?

so many 'not so unique' ROMs.
I know you wanted to share yours in good wills but some way it seems unnecessary to me until it really becomes something unique in some way to the least. At least from the screens it does not seem so. This forum is already crowded with so many such 'efforts'. It makes the decision so difficult.
Dont know if its good or bad, just giving my opinions. Please no hurt feelings, please.

I don't know, posted it just in case
The creator said it was stable enough to use as a daily... I'm almost done creating a flashable zip based on it, but there's probably about a 90% chance of it not working... Is someone willing to test it?
I am warning that this is the first port I have done. I used CM11 11/10 Nightly as the base and the posted ROM as the Port, and followed the instructions
HTML:
here
with minor adjustments to allow ART to run. At the very least, I could post it and someone more experienced than me could look at it and tell me what they think?

Q&A for [5.0][AOSP][port][wip] CodeROM 5.0 by LollipopS2
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [5.0][AOSP][port][wip] CodeROM 5.0 by LollipopS2. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Well, we will try to fix it ourselves, but it would be much faster if some skilled dev help us with fixing boot problems. I was porting this rom yesterday, and i think it is little success that we got to the bootscreen with "ANDROID" logo. Thx for all supports, we are doing our best

The breakfast command failed right? Well on the cm git there's only cm11 branch for our device, take a look here: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_samsung_i9100. Have you tried pushing files manually from cm11 branch? I think it's not gonna work too because we need a proper 5.0 kernel... Building AOSP with cm11 device tree would be even worse... I think the only way to boot some Lollipop on S2 is know what people have done in the kernels of the Note, or the S3 devices, and then do the same on our kernel. But sadly, I'm not xplodwild to do this

Hello guys! Since it was rooted our device has seen only one rom be developed for it so far, so I decided to take action on this and submitted a request for Cyanogenmod development on our device. We need to work together though if this is ever going to happen. So...
If you'd like to see another custom rom for the Core Prime in the future (possibly even one that has the new Android Marshmallow w/ nightly updates), then please help by showing Cyanogenmod that there is enough interest by following the steps, either for "Taptalk" or "via computer", below:
TAPATALK USERS:
1) Click on the "Following" tab at the bottom of the app. Then look for the "Add More" button, search for "Cyanogenmod" and add the Cyanogenmod forum to your Tapatalk by clicking "Follow".
(Be sure to log in or sign up with CM there through Tapatalk if you haven't already.)
2) Once in the forum do a search for the words "Core Prime" to find our device request thread. Open it and click on the little "(+)" sign at the top right to subscribe to the thread and save it to your Tapatalk.
3) Place your request in the thread by commenting and mentioning the SM-G360T1.
(Also maybe go through and click on the "thumbs up" for other requests to show your support.)
* To check up on this thread later btw, just go to the "Following" tab, click on "Cyanogenmod" & then click on the "Subscribed" tab and you will see the thread there.
TO DO THIS VIA COMPUTER:
1) Check out the link of my request here:
EDIT: They moved my request and our comments into a general request thread with all the Core Prime models. Here is the new link:
https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/index...en-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Core-Prime?#entry606756
2) Sign up with a username on the Cyanogenmod forums there and verify your email. (Sign up is in the upper right on mobile.)
3) Go back to the link above and just make a comment expressing your mutual interest in development for this device. Make sure to mention the model # "SM-G360T1".
LETS SHOW THEM THAT CM FOR CORE PRIME IS WELL WORTH THEIR WHILE!!!
Also, lets maybe use this thread to discuss and update each other regarding any progress towards CM development for our device.

I started testing a slimmed down 5.1.1 rom that someone had made for this device yesterday too that was debloated and deknoxed, but unfortunately there is still a problem happening during the flashing process that has to be worked out. It's his first rom too, so it may take a bit to develop, but the good news is that people are starting to take interest.

Oh that's nice! Can't wait for that release!
By the way, I've started to sync CM Sources. Hopefully once it downloads, I can compile it. However I believe I might need some more things before I can compile, so I'll DL it in the meantime.

Hello guys! Since it was rooted almost 2 months ago our device has yet to see any rom development and at this rate it seems as if it likely never will. Today, however, I decided to take action on this and submitted a request for CM development on our device. We need to work together though if this is ever going to happen. So...
If you'd like to see a custom rom for our device in the future(possibly even with the new Android Marshmallow), then please help by showing Cyanogenmod that there is enough interest by doing the following:
1) Check out the link of my request here:
http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/117620-cm13-for-galaxy-core-prime-sm-g360t1/#entry550645
2) Sign up with a username on the Cyanogenmod forums there and verify your email. (Sign up is in the upper right on mobile.)
3) Go back to the link above and just make a comment expressing your mutual interest in development for this device.
LETS SHOW THEM THAT CM FOR CORE PRIME IS WELL WORTH THEIR WHILE!!!
Also, lets maybe use this thread to discuss and update each other regarding any progress towards CM development for our device.

Thanks for letting me know! It looks like they moved all of our comments into this general Core Prime device request thread here. I'll update the OP.

I don't know, maybe that will look better for us to have more requests on there. Just make sure to mention that you're requesting it for the SM-G360T1 when you comment.

While we're waiting on Cyanogenmod, for anyone who wants to to try something new right now on their SM-G360T1, there is a new, awesome, debloated, deodexed, deknoxed, slim build of our AOFA firmware from @Koognod! It's called "Slim Pickens" rom and you should check it out. I've been running it on my device for a couple days and it's working really well.

Good question. Haven't heard anything, but then again there are only 36 requests total for ALL of the Core Prime models and only about half of those are for the SM-G360T1. Not good.
Updated the OP...
So yeah, I've been attempting to do a custom build of CyanogenMod for our device (if you didn't already know). However, I am missing something: the vendor files.
Anyone know how I can get my hands on them?
