[INDEX][10/10] Collection of Xposed Modules

XPOSE YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY S ADVANCE
This is a Collection of threads of Xposed Modules which work* for our phone! (*I tested only a few)
I assume you know about Xposed Framework !
If you don't, here's the method >
How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
I'm not responsible for anything you do with your phone/tablet/rice cooker.
There is also the risk to soft-brick your device. In such a case, restoring a backup is the easiest way to get rid of it.(Or use Xposed Disabler)
For the framework:
1.Download XposedInstaller.apk and install it
2.Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"
3.Reboot
4.Done!
For any modifications/modules you want to install:
1.Download .apk and install it
2.Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
3.Enable the module by checking the checkbox
4.Reboot
5.Done!

This will be the lightest G900T TouchWiz ROM you ever will see! Just 569 MB
G900T version ROM Details:
- Based on the latest Samsung Stock G900T UVU1BNH5 firmware (Base build date: 27-8-2014)
- Stock UVU1BNH5 Kernel (build date: 27-8-2014) & Latest KToonsez kernel
- De-bloated ROM to 569 MB!!
- All the standard features of Stock Android will work, so it's like an AOSP ROM with the TouchWiz launcher & SystemUI
- Unique separate Aroma Add-on Package which includes all the removed Samsung 'bloatware' apps, so that you can flash at any time your missing app back... SEE POST #2
- ROM still includes the original Samsung Gallery, Camera, Dialer, Messages, Music, Alarm & Calculator apps
- Latest Google Android L Keyboard (You can install the Samsung keyboard with the Aroma add-on package from post #2)
- Latest SuperSu & BusyBox integrated
- KNOX fully removed
- Native Call Recording
- T-Mobile WiFi calling & VoLTE support (VoLTE needs the latest NF6 or newer firmware)
- Mobile Hotspot without any limitations (removed provisioning checks)
- Optional working Private Mode (with the Aroma add-on package)
- At every boot the FsTrim command will be excecuted, to keep your Phone smooth and the internal memory fast!
(Make sure you enable the included Universal Init.d app for this, or use any custom kernel!)
- SD-card write permissions
- Odexed (to keep it ART Runtime compatible, and to keep 100% original stock files = faster)
- ART Runtime works (Make sure you haven't the Xposed Framework installed when using ART)
- Option to add or remove the secondary symbols to/from the Samsung Keyboard
- The T-Mobile Carrier apps are removed from the ROM, but you can install them back with the XtreStoLite Aroma Add-on package (post #2)
- Carrier IQ apps free
- A few build.prop tweaks, like: Fewer WiFi scans, Faster Boot animation speeds, Disabled logging, Disabled call ring and Proximity delay.
- A few CSC tweaks, like: Enabled Call recording, Enabled camera shutter sound button & Enabled secondary symbols on the Samsung keyboard & Add 10 Extra Quick toggles to the notification panel.
- 100% Original Stock files (No modded APK, Framework & lib files), this gives you the most stable, fastest & smoothest experience.
- In the Aroma installer of the ROM you can choose between 5 different mods:
Advanced Reboot Menu
Remove Safe Sound warning
Remove S-Finder & QuickConnect buttons in the Notification drawer
3Minit Battery Mod (choose between 1070+ battery icons)
Modded Messages app with Screen On/Off toggle, Backup/Restore function, No auto SMS-to-MMS conversion & Increased Message limit from 100 to 1000 messages per hour

TIPS:
See Post #2 for the Aroma Add-on Package, so that you can choose which Samsung Apps / functions you want back.
You can use this Aroma add-on package at any time after flashing this rom (So you can first use the rom barebone and look for yourself which app/feature you want to have back)
The ART runtime is still experimental, and I don't recommend to use it. You will also get slightly better performance with the Dalvik runtime.
The aim of this ROM is to keep it as close to the stock firmware as possible. Because this way the ROM is the most stable you can get, and also you don't have any mods that can have influence on the performance and/or battery life of the ROM.
Also you can tweak the interface on your own nowadays with Xposed Framework plugins like: Wanam Xposed, GravityBox & Xposed G-TouchWiz.
With the Xposed G-TouchWiz plugin you can remove/hide the S-Finder & QuickConnect buttons in the notification panel.
And with the 'Galaxy S5 Widgets' Xposed module you can get widgets on your lock-screen.
So please don't ask in this thread if I can add an mod for those functions.
I strongly recommend to install SVoice with the Aroma add-on package, even if you don't use SVoice, just to disable the Home key SVoice launch delay in SVoice. (Svoice -> Menu key -> Settings -> De-select: Open via the home key)
After disabling this option, the home key will react much quicker when you press it.
You can disable the Svoice app if you want after this (Settings -> Application Manager -> All -> S Voice -> Disable), but do not delete the app data of it.
I recommend to set all the 3 Animation settings to 0.5 in the Developer settings menu, for much faster animations (and experience).
How to:
- Enable the Developer Options (Settings -> About Device -> 8x tap the Build number)
- Go to the Developer Options (Settings -> Developer options)
- Scroll down, and set:
'Window animation scale' to 0.5
'Transition animation scale' to 0.5
'Animator duration scale' to 0.5
- Enjoy the faster animations!
All the Google Play Store apps are NOT included in the ROM (or Aroma add-on package), you can download those by yourself in the Play Store.
If you choose to use the ART runtime, then the first reboot after you did choose the ART runtime will take a very long time to boot up. The bootscreen shows up longer than usual (around the 3 minutes), and after that the 'Android is upgrading...' screen will take a few minutes)

First thanks sir downloading now
I been on the International version for a couple of months and it has been my daily driver. Great ROM keep up the good work
Sent from my SM-G900T
Looks promising! downloading now!
thanks.
Welcome to the G900T section edgarf28.
Been using the G900F version since I can remember. Rock solid ROM and I love the flash-what-you-want approach. While this is a great ROM, I am one of the few who could careless about the T-Mobile specifics like VoLTE (no LTE or VoLTE here) and no signal issues so no need to pay T-Mobile (I pay each month to use their network, not mine) to use my own WiFi to make calls.
Anyone considering this should know that edgarf28 is very active in his threads, and very friendly. Again his ROMs are also very stable. I know T-Mobile specifics were most often requested and now those folks can have their fun. Thanks for doing this!
I have yet to trip my knox and flash a custom rom but this is very tempting...
Caught my attention. I love debated roms! I have to ask how is battery life??
I like what I am seeing, I going to give it a try

Did you flash the "USA T-Mobile Carrier Apps" ?
It works for me on the G900F without T-Mobile Apps so that might not be the issue. I'll flash G900T and try it. I thought that wifi hotspot on G900T required a T-Mobile hotspot app?
edit: Just tested with the base install, this is indeed happening. I think G900T rom needs the T-Mobile Hotspot app. I don't think that is included with the addon package either.

It does require the app. If you remove or do not flash the T-Mobile apps, you will not be able to use the Hotspot. I'll look into pulling the apk when I have time and putting it on here for just the Hotspot app or maybe edgar will do it.
UPDATE!!!! It does not work even after re-flashing the T-Mobile apps in the Aroma package. I was a beta tester and I tested this and it worked on the beta rom before I removed the T-Mobile apps. I think it may break something when you remove them and then it cannot be fixed by just re-flashing. It may need a total rom re-flash. I will shoot edgar a note in case he misses this.

I just went back and flashed the beta rom and it still doesn't work. I am not sure what is happening. We'll have to let edgar dig in and fix.

Yeah I just tried it via titanium backup and it didn't work. Oh well...I don't really need it but it would be nice to have just in case.

Edgar will get it fixed I'm sure. He has 3 versions of this rom though so be patient. It's still by far the fastest and lightest rom. I tried Alliance and it was ok but had some lagginess compared to this. I found I could do most of my customization I wanted using Xposed and a different launcher. Battery life is very good too and I've seen some unreal results of other members using this rom and the Blaze kernel.
I will have an look at the Wi-Fi hotspot bug tomorrow people, I don't have much time for it right now.
But the Hotspot shortcut on the app drawer is not an separate app, it's just an shortcut to the function in the Settings app.
Sorry that the bug did slip in guys!
EDIT: Released v.1.2.1b of the ROM, and it should be fixed now, also removed the T-Mobile tethering restrictions.

No worries. First release for this version and that's all that we notice happening? That's actually very good. :highfive:
Ya everything else is working great! So smooth
Smooth rom. Liking it so far and liking the aroma options to pic and choose which apps to add-on. Thanks for the rom.
That said, does the rom bypass Tether Provisioning?

[Q] hhhhhhhheeeeeeeelllllllllllppppppppppp please

hi xda developers can any one teach me how to use this app
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.steel89ita.android44
helllo
this is the solution
1- you must have a CM 10 (costum rom )
REQUIREMENTS:
- You need a rooted phone to use this theme with Jelly Bean (that's a must)
- You need a ROM with the Theme Chooser Engine to apply it.
INSTALLATION:
1. Download the app and install it
2. Go to Settings>Themes (or the Themes section of your custom rom)
(If you don't have this option you are probably not using a custom rom)
3. Swipe and select Android Kitkat 4.4
4. Apply it
5. Reboot your phone/tablet to make all the changes
IMPORTANT:
Don't review or give bad ratings if you don't know how to use it or don't know how to root your phone,
I will not reply to them because they are not review of the product.
Instead, do a search with Google or ask here for support:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537251
TO HAVE TRANSPARENT STATUS AND NAVIGATION BARS:
- Use a Launcher that supports theme (GEL Google Experience Launcher, Kitkat Launcher..)
- Use a ROM that lets you change the opacity of them,
or install the XPOSED FRAMEWORK: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
with a status bar module like gravitybox: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070
FEATURES:
Created for XHDPI, HDPI and XXHDPI devices,
with this theme you can feel all the sweet Kitkat style on Android Jelly Bean too!
Your Jelly Bean phone/tablet UI will become similar to the new Android 4.4 interface,
with the graphics of the new version of your favorite OS, with:
- Original Nexus5 wallpaper included
- Original 4.4 style: no custom inspired themed apps, only original/per-pixel created content.
- with skinned Calculator, Deskclock widget.
- Custom ROMS toggles like the 4.4 original toggles interface, with orange icons for not full signal,
exactly like Kitkat.
- Framework buttons, backgrounds, bars like the original Kitkat.
- With the new Overscroll lights, glow dividers
- Only original Kitkat icons, they are not much, I'm sorry!
- Only original HOLO BLUE and HOLO WHITE colors!
This theme is AOSP - CM10.2 - AOKP - Paranoid Android Compatible.
Please report any bug before rate the theme, you will help me to continue to make this theme better, thanks!
FAQ
* Error: "Theme unproperly compiled" *
- Apply the original System theme, reboot the Phone/Tablet and apply Android Kitkat 4.4
* Error: "The* Status Bar Clock color is Blue *
- Your ROM should have some setting to change the color of the clock, find it and use the white.
* Error: "This theme is missing assets for your device's screen resolution" *
- select "Apply Anyway" (that's a issue of the theme chooser app, the theme has everything required)
thanks

F.A.Q
1. Can you add blah blah blah mod to DeOdex Patch?
No, I won't.
2. Does VoLTE work?
No, and it will never work. If that's a must for you, switch to other ROM
3. I flashed Black Theme Ready Framework but my notifications aren't black! What should I do?
You need a theme that changes notification background to black. Like S8 Black or bodhisattva_
Or you can use something like Dark Notifications Overlay.
4. How to change resolution to Full HD?(To save some battery)
Download this app
run these codes
Code:
su
wm size 1080x1920
wm density 480
And reboot.
If you want to go back to 1440p:
Code:
su
wm size reset
wm density reset
And reboot.
Thanks to @toffik325 for hint
5. I chose network speed on Status Bar during installation but it's not working. What should I do?
Go to settings --> display --> Status bar --> Enable "Show network speed"!
6. I chose S8 Live Wallpaper but I can't find it.
Search in App Drawer
7. Root lost after sometime. What should I do? Updated
Go To Settings, Device Maintenance, Battery, Under App Power Monitor, add Magisk Manager to Unmonitored Apps.
Then go to Settings, Device Maintenance, Battery, Battery Usage, tap that 3dot menu on top right, Optimize Battery Usage, and Add Magisk Manager to Apps not optimized.
If these doesn't fix your issues and you still annoyingly lose root frequently, disable Magisk Hide from Magisk Manager. But then you'll lose safetynet
8. How to turn off or change duration of back and recents buttons backlight?
Download this app
9. How to make all apps multi-window?
Go to developer Options, scroll down, last option is "Force activities to be resizable", enable that!

[August 5, 2021] Pixel Tweaks for Pixel 3 with Color Picker

Badseed Customs Presents
Pixel Tweaks
Greetings
This is a combination of a Magisk module and Substratum Theme. I originally did this as means to give custom options to people who enjoy the Pixel Launcher and was planning to release on the Play Store. Since it required a modified Pixel Launcher via Magisk, I decided to release it to the public via XDA.
The Magisk module is needed in order for the options in the Substratum theme to install and function properly!

Make sure you install substratum lite. It is in beta on the play store, but it is the only one that will function on Android 10
I installed Substratum theme engine version one thousand and twenty two. Seems to have applied the editor settings OK.
Be gone search bar and some reboots later gone it was. Thank you.
Can you hide unwanted apps in the app drawer too? for example:. Files

I don't see this happening...I'll look, but I doubt it.
Version 2.1 is up with text color options...it requires to update to v10.2 of the magisk module as well
V2.3 is up with 5x6 grid added
Are there any additional steps to make this Substratum overlay work at stock Pixel 3 (Android 10 October patch, QP1A.191005.007), rooted with Magisk and with Substratum Lite installed?
What has been done:
- Install Substratum Lite, reboot to activate its Magisk module
- Install Pixel.Launcher.Helper.v10.2.zip Magisk module, reboot, confirm it's active
- Install Pixel.Launcher.Editor.v2.3.apk
- "Install" it in Substratum Lite (5x6, no search bar, no search bar 5x6 fix)
- Confirm it's visible in Manager tab of Substratum
- Reboot phone
- Press "Enable" on the overlay on Manager tab is Substratum Lite.
- Reboot once again
As a result, there are no visible changes to Pixel Launcher, and Substratum module remains in "Inactive (reboot to activate)" state.
Are there any additional troubleshooting steps to get it enabled?

I had this happen when testing and thought I fixed it. Let me try a few things and I'll get back at you.
Can I get a screenshot of the manage tab from substratum.

Can you double check to see if Substratum has root access in magisk.

Yes, root access is granted and used by substratum lite.
Also, uninstalled "Android System" overlay - no change.

I did the same setup as you attempted and I'm having no issues. I had my p3 tester (@miggsr) test this as well with no issues on his end. Could you try reinstalling the overlay
Another thing would be to try another substratum themes to see if they install or remain inactive.

Ok, so that may be an issue on my end with other Magisk modules and stuff.
(Already tried reinstalling the overlay with no results).
Will check if Substratum Lite is working for me at all, with any theme.
Thanks for help and confirming it works on stock Pixel 3
Could you check your Substratum setting and enable Substratum Compatibility Mode

Yes, no change. "Force use new compiler" down not make a difference as well.
Also, tried with other Substratum themes and got the same issue - they can't be enabled.
So the problem may be hidden deeper, and not caused by this module.

Mind sharing a screenshot of your magisk modules. I can at least compare to mine and try to narrow down if any cause an interface with substratum.

Tried disabling App Systemizer, but it did not help as well.
