[SOLVED]Unable to record videos on Instagram? - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Instagram rolled out a new video feature on their app. It's supposed to work on devices with Android 4.1 and upwards. Is anyone able to record videos on the XTZ? I can't.

EDIT
Found the 4.0 apk. Video works fine. Read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332168

It could be helpful if you would mentioned what kind of app do you use.
A tripple post without a link or name of the app isn't helpful and I guess you will get no answer or advice if you do not change your behavior.

Should be this one:

Apparently this a native application that was "lost" with the 3.1 Honeycomb upgrade.
I found this link (not tested), I've read about some limitation with non rooted devices...

Hi, already tested the previous link and it's working fine.
Hi,
I need help here, anyone using this application? I’m able to create the movie project but I can’t export it.
Is anyone able to do it? Or do you use another movie editor tool?
Thanks

[Q] Standalone camera & video recorder for JB

Is there any camera app that can take pics & record videos in JB (4.1) just like Videocam Illusion pro can record videos in GB (2.3)?
Please post about such apps so that we can use JB as many of the cheaper phones nowadays are using newer OS than us, and we can show them that we are still in the race.

Android 4.2.2 and youtube video resolution

Hello, i recently got my first device using android 4.2.2 and i see that the only video resolution for youtube that i can select is HQ but i cant select for example 720p or 1080p.
Does 4.2.2 is missing this youtube feature?
I know that older ios version you couldnt select it but with ios 7 is available.

Android version has nothing to do with an apps ability to display in a certain resolution. Youtube just simply doesn't have that support, it's either HQ or not. Simple as that.

Oh this really sucks. Clearly this is a step down in android compared to ios. It's shame cause that HQ option it's not even close to high quality.

[Q] Video playing not working on xperia sola running CM11

Recently i started using CM 11 by munjeni for sola, everything is working perfectly except for the video playback. I tried everything, googled for days but i couldn't find the problem. When i open youtube app and i play a video there is sound but video is not "moving" it's just stuck on video thumbnail as if i didn't even press play, it doesnt work in play store, in browser, or in any app i could find. Does anyone have a similar problem?

that's because they could not fix the OMX, which allows video playback, and has been fixed in the Xperia U by User new maclaw, but he did not want to share their sources, so mujenji unable to carry this arrangement to xperia Go and Sola.
But as I read, percy_g2 manage to fix the OMX without sources of maclaw for xperia P, if true, I do not think it takes long before the single xperia Go and sola have this fix.
I have the same problem and I also tried everything but nothing was helpful
I hope mujenji fix it as fast as he can
