Sounds like a problem with the display code. Did you get any warnings or errors when building the kernel? Qualcomm is generally very well supported.

No errors it boots up but all I get is a white screen.

Did you make sure to get the "prebuilts" from a working CM 10.1 on your phone?
Also when you build the kernel, besides needing the prebuilts, I would specify the tag so you're not getting all the upstream code. I don't know what the build status is for S4 - if its just nightlies right now and no Milestone releases, I would wait because a lot of crap is broken on unstable code. Its going to make it incredibly difficult with all the code changes in nightlies to troubleshoot what individual things are broken in UT.

[SOLVED] How to center the lock-screen clock?

Hi, I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815052 on my S3, the size of the mod was wrong.
So could someone do this right and upload a modified and working framework-res.apk for cm9?
Post the link to the exact rom you're running and I'll gladly do so.

Good I came back to check if you did so!
Lol.
Give me ~15 minutes.
Edit:
Hopefully got it.
There was a lot more to sift through on CM10 than I'm used to.
Should work for all lockscreens (password/pin/face/slide/pattern)

Thanks
Is this for cm9 or cm10?
when i flashed it on cm9 it got stuck in bootloop.

Will only work on the nightly you linked me to...
Maybe I messed it up?!

Here is Pinoyto's source for CM10.1 on the P769. Please thank him as he was kind enough to share with us.
Please also create mirrors as my dropbox account gets hammered daily and downloads get blocked.
Let's get started on some custom roms(MIUI please!) and CM fixes.

Not a problem. Anything I can do to help the community and keep development on our phones alive.
If I'm not top busy today I'll set up a git for everything. I'm no programmer by any means but it may prove useful to someone else.
To anyone who IS a dev, paranoid android open sourced their holo notifications.. Would be great to merge that with our CM.
Edit:
Here's a GIT repo.

Yes we have permission. But there is newer source with bug fixes available. Look around and you will find it.

Here is the latest source that you should probably work with since it is newer and has more bug fixes. There is a link to the git repo in the first post.

Thanks so much! I threw out the hard drive my Ubuntu build was on BC it was going out. Was wondering wth happened to my build lol. I'm currently making space on my 500gb HD for Ubuntu. Edit .... these bases are based off the p760? I got paranoid loaded on Ubuntu but if these are based off the 760 I think I will just make my own device tree. Either way I should have a test build out next week, I'm headed out of town tomorrow.

This was a bit tricky.
What I did was go to the Cyanogenmod thread, found the hidden 'search this thread' box, and typed in 'ir'

try downloading the watchon app from the play store, it should work but I never tried it my self.
I remember seeing a couple of unofficial CM builds with the IR blaster working released by our CM maintainer.

I had a exp. build on my LG 2x, in cause of that I think it's possible.
You need just time and a build machine
It's pretty same as compiling AOSP or CM so only wasting some time is needed to fix problems during compile.
I'm recently wondering on AC100 distro - as far as I comprehend those are basically the same, except for tablet/netbook part??
I have no knowledges to compile and install it, for I was wondering if any of the community got, and then show us how to do it.

I appreciate it but AT&T is different and there is a bootloader issue. But it is the sifting through all the other versions of this device that makes it difficult. If you ask me, it is also inviting the person who is categorized as the newbie to flash incompatible files and brick their devices. I know better, but it is still possible. Who is to say someone labels something wrong. All it takes is one to blurt out, "hey, this will work on Joe Blows phone", and its all over.

For sure just after I posted here I noticed the talk about boot loader.....theres too many different damn models of the same phone its brutal there should be just one model of each phone and be done with it no confusion no compatability issues or anything but I guess that would make it too easy for us lol

I think the i527 got root, right?
You could try to install the the recovery image with terminal commands
su
dd if=<path to recovery img> of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
reboot recovery
if everything worked well, flash cm
