Hi everyone,
I reading many things on internet, and I found that this bug was inyected for jelly bean update 4.2, see Issue 40661.
Here I describe the solution, it work fine for me on RootBox v4.1 !!!
Steps:
1. Ensure that Stk.apk is in '/System/app' path, and that it has permission correct ( rw--r--r--)
2. Take a moment for determine and ensure the PUK code of your SIM card.
3. Set your phone in airplane mode.
4. Enable Sim pin lock in Settings --> Security --> Set up SIM card lock --> Check: Lock SIM card (try 3 times until to lock your phone).
5. Set your PUK code and here set the new sim lock code 2 times.
6. Reboot your phone.
7. When phone start up, turn off airplane mode and wait that appear carriers label (That your phone have signal).
8. In your app drawer must be Sim Toolkit.

Ok guy. In order to stop your annoying spam attacks in all AOSP threads I gonna tell you this:
Use temasek's Rom. I have the STK, I can use it, I have it in my drawer, and I want you to stop spamming NOW!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797109
And keep in mind, asking the same thing again and again instead of trying out yourself is very, very rude.
Nevertheless, I hope I resolved your problem.

Don't, that ROM sucks!
See that? That right there is why you don't ask what ROM to use - everybody has different opinions. Try them yourself

I know, we all know.
He asked for a Rom which includes STK. Temasek's does, for sure and tested by me.
He does not want to know the "best rom" at any point. And I confirm his loved STK is in the mentioned Rom.

What this does is allow you to choose if you want to unlock the phone via the trackball or the menu key rather than swiping across the touchscreen. When coupled with Metalhead's trackball wake, it allows you to unlock your phone with a double tap of the trackball.
In order to use this, you must be running the latest CyanogenMod. Simply copy it to your sdcard and flash via recovery. (Backup first and no need to wipe). It has worked fine on all of the test devices so far, so there is no reason for it to not work on yours.
To enable:
1. Go to settings, Sounds and Display
2. Tick whichever options you want to use.
3. Enjoy!

A big thanks to Metalhead (looked at a bunch of his stuff for figuring this out), ChrisSoyars, TheDudesAndroid, and of course Cyanogen. The biggest thanks of all, however, goes to the entire #teamdouche!
thanks Persian, been waiting for this
That is a fantastic addition. Would you be kind enough to make one compatible with Enom's ROM? As always thanks.

Settings - Sound/display. You should see the option in there
I added the explanation on how to enable it. Please give me feedback everyone
Any one try it on Desire ROM yet?
soo cool, was waiting for this treasure!!
Does this change services.jar? I don't want to break trackball notifications in succession or trackball notify.
so it automatically unlocks when we bang our phones against the walls right
Get it patented before apple sues u
Nice work though
thanks again, works brilliantly
Now for a bright spark to come up with a way to put the phone on standby mode using the trackball
Sooo cool!!-Trackball Alert still worx!

No. Remember, you can always look inside of the zip to see if it changes a certain file
everything working fine here... great job!
Terrific, been wanting this since I switched from my MT3G.
This works great. Doesn't mess with uv kernel or track ball alert. Thank you for this mod.

If you don't have the option on the righthand-bottom side (Ruisonderdrukking=Noise Reduction) after you press the menu button during call then your Rom doesn't support it I Guess. I am on stock rom 2.3.6 (I9100XXKH3).

What bramandroid said. That said - what ROM are you on? Stock? (which I doubt, because a stock ROM would have this option) If not, you will probably have to find a phone.apk compatible with your ROM that has this option.
First thing we need to know is exactly what ROM you are currently running.
EDIT: Look at what user toxicdust posted just today (1/12/2012). It DOES involve popping open the phone, which can be a daunting task, but it offers a permanent solution without mucking with firmwares, apk's, or any custom ROMs. I intend to try this out this weekend, as I currently have a software solution (custom phone.apk with NR turned off by default), which works fine, but I would like the phone to work with NR enabled, as it is one of the reasons I bought the phone in the first place.

[Q] Help needed for unlocked STOCK T-Mobile HTC Amaze

Hey everyone, I've searched thru the forum looking to see if someone had the same issues I did, and the stellar assistance that was given to others with various problems, I'm hoping that I can get the same (haven't seen anyone with my particular issues yet).
As mentioned in the title, I'm using a stock T-Mobile Amaze, unlocked and I'm using it in Barbados. A few weeks ago, a notification popped up on my phone.

Naturally, I was curious to see what this update was, but after ensuring that everything that was required for the update was in place, I see this...
...which I'm sure means there's some error in installing the update. The phone freezes, and I can't get out of this without doing a battery pull a la blackberry. This is issue 1.
Issue 2 is that a lot of my menus have wrong names, e.g. the 1 for Wireless connections says "Turn It On"
and even the options within the menus are wrong, e.g. In the display menu, to set the screen brightness, that option is entitled "Set A PIN code to lock your UIM Card"
Further to these, often when I try to access many of my settings, the whole shebang crashes, and asks me about sending an error report. Til now, nothing has changed in that regard. Any assistance to these problems would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Your best bet is just to do a master reset on the phone. It should clear up all those issues.
tried it...didn't work (well, the menus still are screwed up, and the settings keep crashing when i try to access some of them, like the Sound menu.)

Have you tried locking your bootloader and flashing the stock firmware?
You already unlocked your bootloader, right?
Just flash a custom rom.
If you REALLY want to flash the 1.43 update then relock your bootloader and flash this: http://goo.gl/KvHzj
Rename it to PH85IMG.zip and store it on the root of your sdcard.
It will update everything.
Then unlock your bootloader again, reroot and you'll be good.

Radio ROM/ Baseband

So guys,
why don't we talk about the Radio ROM version.
Does anyone knows if there are new Radio ROM's with the new OS versions?
Cheers

Its because our device does not support VoLTE (voice over LTE)yet. so whenever you receive a call, your device jumps from 4G to 3G to make you available for call. Once call is over, it will again switch from 3G to 4G. That's why there is minor connection switch. No need to worry about that.

You have not provided any details about what ROM you're using, you have not provided details about where the pop-ups show. You've provided no information whatsoever...
So I don't think anyone will care to help you.

REFLASH YOUR ROM
This is a rom-side problem.
If you want xiaomi.eu, download it from https://bit.ly/2Qoin3F
If you want global version, download it from https://bit.ly/2CM41Sx
If you want mi-room version, download it from https://bit.ly/357wE8R (Android 10 ported beta)
Yep, agree totally, you got a rom that was loaded with malware and other nasties from somewhere...
Re-flash ASAP and mate, change any passswords on anything you want to keep private or protects your $$$...
Don't know where you picked up this rom, but I'd blacklist that site forever...

I have officiall ROM that came originally with Pocophone. I have never change anything on it. I haven't installed any other ROM. I have global version of the phone.
Then you have installed a program that has infected your device with malware...
This is NOT normal behaviour for a rom...
