I have looked everywhere and this seems to be the best mod for improving sound in Micromax canvas HD. But the problem is that i have a rooted stock 4.2.1 (just removed bloatware and installed custom recovery) without busybox. So, if anyone is willing to help simplify the installation process (especially those who have installed it) , I will be really greatful Thanks in advance

And the phone is awesome.
I have read reviews complaining about photo quality. But I am more than impressed by the camera quality.
Apart from occasional heating problem while continuously using camera or charging I am very happy.:cyclops:

Awesome phone
Must say its a awesome phone battery is superb touch is good , games are also k until now have difficulty with nfs most wanted its lagging while playing and also browsing menus. Have not tried rooting the phone yet until testing is over. Hope someone releases some good rom

A very humble request to you if you can then this rom will be even better:
1) the messaging app in this rom is of stock and not of touchwiz . i really miss that app here.
I tried to copy the mms.apk file from v1 rom and pasted it in system>app. Even installed it after uninstalling the stock but couldn't open.
2) the sound that we heard on connecting charger in samsung galaxy phones isn't heard here. Please do something. I tried to put the charge connect.ogg file in the system>media>audio>ui but still of no use.
Also add a sound for full charge complete if possible
3)the contacts menu is also of stock please give it a galaxy look
4)The video player is also stock app
This is just a small request which could improve your rom

I previously used s3 being a touchwiz fan but took a risk for mmx hd and just because of your samhd i was very happy over my decision.

I have flashed miui custom rom ported from canvas 2. The problem is i am not able to install any app, not from playtore not from apks only by flashing zips. PLEASE HELP?? any help would be appreciated.

In the miui thread, it says install a 4.2.2 kernel first as the kernel is not included...where should i download a 4.2.2 kernel for micromax canvas music...

All the roms in the list have issues which cant be overlooked. Galaxian rom-wifi turns off on its own, lewa rom- stuck at boot logo, miui5- says launcher has crashed. Now i need the stock rom for this device which i can flash using rom manager. I've searched everywhere but most links are broken. Im ready to port a different rom if you can confirm it might work. I have tried the lolipop rom and it has an issue too, doesnt download anything over wifi.

I have installed custom rom (MIUI6 which was built for A116) on my Micromax A116i device. But, now camera is not working. I have seen some fixes for this on few threads but I am a newbie and I dont know how to work on boot.img.
Can anyone guide me how can I fix my camera issue?
