This is a must have if you want an extreme speed boost with just a simple flash of a script. If you have ever wondered if you can inject your phone with steroids today is your lucky day.

This has been personally tested!
Its is meant to work on all phones but don't try it without backing up first. I'm not the developer I'm just a user, that highly recommends this mod!

+1 definitely worth trying.

Yes. I've been watching the thread for awhile. Your post prompted me to try it. It is quite amazing. Performance is dramatically increased, like nothing I've tried before. I look forward to seeing what battery life is.
Thanks

Yes, performance will definitely boost because of the entropy pool activity, parallelising and etc... it also enhance network speed(tethering and dns changer).. i would recommend this mod to be applied on S4,. I can see the battery potentially saving...
Tested on my brother's S4,my N4 and even X8.

After installing this, my battery indicator dropped from 93% to 31%, somebody had same issue?
BTW this mod really works, the phone UI feels snappier, almost no lag even right after the boot up.

The script was ran for the first time to configure all the set-up... so dont worry.next time booting time will be faster
Try to full-charge after battery is extremely low and you can feel the battery holds up a little bit...

The author of this mod states,
"NOTE: CrossBreeder DNS (Boost/Adblock/Censor Bypass) will not work (as in it won't be used ) if your ISP APN contains an entry for a proxy server. Do edit the APN and remove the proxy entry and see if you can browse fine. That will allow CrossBreeder DNS to work."
So, have you all been editing your apn setting in this way, or find that it's working regardless?

A little tip about crossbreeder... If you use ktoonz kernel, CrossBreeder will automatically pick up the frandom module kt implemented in his kernel instead of using random. Basically, using frandom is 4x faster than using random

Been using this for awhile now. Great battery and smoothness.

Wondering what type of performance everyone is getting with their LGOG.
Please post some performance tests if you have them, and include which ROM you running, etc.

Who cares what the benchmarks are. We ALL know this phone is the fastest on the market right now. Dont need tests to prove it or reassure ourselves.

Honestly I did the n4 conversion as you can see, this phone is amazing. I like the lg stock ROM but I'm a aosp guy. So the device alone tho is great, camera is not bad once you fix it.. And sound is good. All in all love it. Had the note 2 and s3 both great devices, but this is better. The screen alone is the best

[Q] Whats a good steady rom for the galaxy note?

Hey im just looking for a steady rom for the note that also supports the network mode settings that you can switch between 3g and 4g because the at&t stock rom doesnt support it if there is a good steady rom with the setting let me know thanks
Its not the ROM, its the modem that restricts band and mode switching. Any at&t modem has the restriction.
But I tried other modems and none of them worked or even showed that option and Max did say there is a rom that has the setting so there is a rom

Black star X for stability.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Dial *#2263# to get the service menu. If your modem allows it ( no carrier restriction ) you can change the mode or band there, whether the ROM has the setting or not.
Again, its got nothing to do with the ROM -- its the modems that don't allow it.

That is my sole interest, all other preferences i suppose i will have to find out on my own won't i! Thanks guys!
EDIT: i did decide to try the RootBox ROM for now. We'll see how that goes. Thanks for the tip shayne
I 2nd Blackstar X, used it for months without issue. I have been using the Collective as of late and it too is a great ROM but requires a little more hand holding.

It may be as simple as downloading the package, pulling the apks and side loading the apps. Nothing there I really care about though.
A lot of the features will need framework support. This is a leaked "official" Samsung ROM...unless a dev wants to take the time to try to port some of the new stuff, we probably won't see them until the international version gets updated to 4.2.2.
