Please Please give me some solution
I entered XDA few weeks before and was exited to update my phone. So I downloaded 5-6 roms in a day and tested them sucessfully. then i finally ended up in selecting one rom for my phone.((SumitsProUsers_WM61_build21051_NewGene))
it was good the whole day but the next day when turned off my phone and later restarted then it just went till the start-up screen and stopped. then i removed battery and put it back again and turned on phone then all went in ashes.
My phone just blinks both lights, then green light comes and stops. no display nothing. then it constantly blinks the lights.
phone sucessfully enters boot loader mode. i tried to update rom once again it was sucess after 100% done phones display will be off and same problem again.
please someone help me out.
if possible then let me know how can i get back my phone to normal how it was before ie change my SPL back to normal and get my OS 6.0 back.
u need to go to RT OUTSOURCING (HTC Service center).i suffered the same problem.i got it repaired free of cost as my device was in warranty.hopefully ur device is in warranty too.even i did flash 3-4 times my new gene wen i bought it.later same problem occurred.its better u show it to the service center.

morely i have unlocked my spl will they repair it for me free.

sorry bro,i stay in pune.search for htc service center.ask the shop from where u purchased ur PDA.if ur device is in warranty,they have no choice.they have to do it free of cost.

when i was using my gene i got a similar problem i went to boot loader ie tricolor and flashed a working rom and got my phone working
how to do this u need some advise from a gene user as it quite some time since i moved from a gene and i forgot the process
can any guru here help our friend

this is the info. that worked for me about their service centre (p.s. if they pick up your phone after all).

BTW, if they don't just mail them and mark a cc to [email protected], they will definitely respond (atleast in my case they did ).
Their support in India is Bull S$%t.

1:When i hold camera button and press power button, phone goes into bootloader mode. The phone not at all starting it just blinks red and green light.
2:Sucessfully i have tried 5 roms everything was fine.
3:Mine is New GENE
4:No warranty. its up.
Help me......
My phone is back to normal.

i just upgrade my Ray to 2.0.4.A.0.42
And sometimes after calling , my Ray aumatically restart. i don't know why
i tried to upgrade again by using flashtool but it's still the same
sometimes it happens, not all the time.

If reflashing doesn't work I would consider taking it back yes.
Does your phone get hot before rebooting?
not sometimes, it reboots rarely. i've just flashed 283 and it's working really smooth. i can't see the prob. but i'm not sure that it can happen again or not.
When charging or reboot, my phone is not hot ^^ just when i use wifi so long or play games, it's warm ^^
is there still some prob with my phone? cause i don't know much about Xperia or smartphones

Hi Friends i have noticed that my SK17 A.K.A Mini pro acts weirdly from the day of purchase.
Even when i lock my screen by pressing power button,I see the LCB lighting up and showing me the lock screen and again turning off.
This happens frequently with few seconds or few min gap.
I suspect this would drain battery than usual.Please help me fix it.
visit the best Sony service center in your city, they'll be able to tell you something substantial.. or get you a replacement.
Just reinstall/repair software with Sony PC companion, worked with me!

thanks for letting me know I'm not alone....
i sent it to the service center... the "smart" man there said it was a software issue, to which i did not agree...
we had a small quarrel then he took it and sad they'll troubleshoot it...
one week later i called they said it was ready
so i went to get it. and surprisingly enough, they HARD BRICKED IT !!!! :cyclops:
HOW IDIOTIC IS THAT ???
the man said they found out it was a touchscreen issue and replaced the touchscreen (which i believe is a total BS because the touchscreen WORKS even though i don't see what i'm doing but the screen accepts my touches as orders)
so he turned the phone ON and the sony ericsson logo came up, dimmed then bright, then it's supposed to dim again, right ???
NO , it stayed bright and phone wouldn't go past this step
he tried several times with no luck, so he had to take it back to try to fix it again but i think they will eventually replace the phone because they don't seem to KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING !!!

I called service and they said they can return old andoid.factory.so it will not be ICS anymore but it will work.

i went to them to get it after they restored old GB firmware.
the phone would not even start...
i believe they bricked it, because today i called to ask if it was fixed yet, and they said, no, it was sent to their main center in Alexandria.
which sounds like i'm getting a new phone !!

i had same trouble i just reflashed my ray updated ics through flashtool my rays fine now

i tried this but it remained...
you either had a different issue or you just have to get your phone HOT enough to make it reappear
going tomorrow to get it from teh service center
i believe it won't be fixed...
just as i thought
they did NOT fix it,
but they REPLACED IT with a new device... i knew because 1st thing i did was check *#06# and found a different Serial Number
they told me they replaced he motherboard
after clarification, they meant they replaced THE WHOLE phone except the battery and bckcover
me too this happend to me too but i figured out i was using a bad mod for my ray and the problem dissapeard
i had no MODS
i had original STOCK GB .42 updated to .62 then to ICS .562 then to ICS .431

The blackout would happen as well as flickering. Not only that, but a weird clicking noise could be heard near the USB port, and the sound did not work at all. I sent it back and got a new one.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a fix. Flashing a new ROM will not solve the problem. It's a hardware issue. Only way to fix it is to send for repair or replacement. I tried everything when it happened to me and nothing worked.
i also encounterd da same problem n m out of warranty now....
plz do let me know if there is sm posibl solution to this problem......plzzzzz

Try with different batteru
I'm having almost the same issue,. Touch panel is responsive and I can hear the unlocking and other feedback sounds, I even was able to shut down the phone by touching the very same position on the screen like I usually do when I shut it down,. Problem is the screen is not displaying anything,..

my phone was NOT fixed, they gave me a replace
its working after a few consecutive press on the power key,., just wondering because its also happening on the cwm 5.5.0.4 by pvy parts for ics on recovery mode but not on the 5.0.2.7 cwm recovery mode,...
I had same problem...
I know the fix ...!!! I worked the way around...had it on gb n ics but now I have the trick !!!

I have Galaxy S2 i9100.....It runs on 2.3.6 Gingerbread....recently i have a problem in tht...my screen goes black all of a sudden...i couldnt do anything with it...i cant open anything or even couldnt switch it off....but when i call from someother mobile it is still on and the ring goes on but no sound comes out from my mobile....only to bring it back is to remove the battery and keep it back....my mobile is not rooted...plz help with this.... waiting for ur reply...thanks....

Do you still see the Samsung logo when your phone is booting?
I think he is getting sleep of death problem and it could be caused of his SD Card try removing it and tell me how it goes.

Yeah i can see the logo while booting....it didnt go black while im still using it....whn it was locked and when i try to unlock it, it was black...

You need to first post your Rom and kernel details; go-to Settings - About phone, and post everything you see.

Same problem here with sleep of death problem. My galaxy s2 has 1 week of life and it happened 3 times.
Should I sent it back for repair or I may try to flash a custom rom? is this an hardware problem?

Yeah ofcourse....But as i mentioned earlier i didnt do anything for that....SOD didnt come in ma mobile after 2 weeks....only for 2 weeks i had that problem and that too once in 3 days like that....sorry mate....u can contact someone above who hve replied for my post earlier....better send PM them....else no one ll notice this i guess....hope everything gets sorted out and u use your mobile as old.....cheers mate...
S2 screen goes black but still it gets calls if called from other Cell
Even I have the same issue as My S2 screen goes black but still it gets calls if called from other cell.
Only solution till now is remove battery and put it back and switch on the phone.

Update your phone to latest stock jelly bean. I have had sod with CM based roms. But it never happened on stock JB
