Introduction
This upgrade to KitKat has been a long long road for me. I have brought to you one of the most complete AOSP experiences ever. This was a complete rewrite in code for me. Thank you for being patient during the wait! Enjoy your stay!

Wow. This looks fantastic. I assume since its Touchwiz based, it has all Samsung apps and if not all, at least the camera?
One more thing, I used to use this on my Galaxy Nexus LTE last year, but then I got a Droid DNA and it was no bueno for development. I'm excited to give this a try.
Also, are you going to build a completely AOSP Eclipse ROM?

Yes it still has the TW camera. There is a list of TW apps that are included underneath the features section. Not very many Samsung apps in the build.
I do have an AOSP build for the S4 on my site. The camera is broken on it at the moment though.

In the future there will be add-ons that users can flash. This is just an initial release so I will have more mods, themes, etc.. coming soon!

Not yet. I made a zip that users can flash to toggle back and forth from AOSP to TW but I have been working on making a toggle in Settings. It will come soon though! Mainly just wanted to get this out in the wild for peeps to enjoy!

Not with the built in launcher. The built in launcher is pretty much a stock AOSP launcher with a few speed and memory tweaks. Nothing too flashy. For a more customized solution I would recommend using Nova Launcher.

tried
it kept freezing on the homescreen for 10 sec then brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr catch up. i did a full wipe davik,cashe, battery stats, the whole shabang.
I do not like the att icon moving 1 pixel when the bar comes down or back up. same on stock rom. looks like people in India were outsoursed to do the framework of the sammy rom.
I love the launcher and the 6X5 layout

Agenda widget for calender 4x4 doesnt work.
I also installed siyah kernal because the mics were switched for me.
I was getting alot of FCs from touchwiz initally but a couple davick and cache wipes it seems ok now.
One question how can i add flashlight to the toggles?

I have been running this rom since yesterday as well. It's very nice, no FC's here for me. I haven't tried to make a call yet so can't speak to the mic issue. To get the Flashlight toggle we need someone to get the 14 toggle zip working with this rom.

Socialhub.apk may help with the fc's it was required for at least one boot on TW4.
Toggle mod has not been added yet, someone is working on it but it can't be released yet. <-- Needs permissions

Tips and Tricks:

- upon boot, does stay awhile at beats logo, don't worry guys, will boot, patience.
- SLIM is so slim, doesn't have a launcher, I HAVE A WORKAROUND; pull down notification bar, click settings toggle, then ROM control>lock screen>then assign "Play Store" as one of your lock screeen targets. Lock your phone, then launch Play Store. Then install Apex Launcher. Open launcher. Ta da!

No, that's a nice theme but I used the free version of Sense 5 theme by gekn from play store. Added a link to the paid version of the theme in the OP.

LOL. I may do a sense 3.6 based ROM soon, but it won't be sense 5 themed because I don't have the time or skills. As Neo could tell you from doing his AOSP themed NeoMax ROM, it's a lot harder to completely theme sense ROM because its not open like T-Mobile theme manager used by cyanogenmod or an apex theme.

Getting my S4 soon. Loved you back on the Rezound. Hey, any way you can list what's been taken out? I wanna have some of those samsung features. I like the 2 apps at once thing...and I like the gestures/air wave. All the "S" apps I'm sure I wouldnt use.

Should be able to update from playstore. gmail, and hangouts. Or you can simply push them from any stock themed rom into system/app and set permissions.

I hope this is not a double post. Rom looks good. Themes are great, but I cannot make Apex my default launcher, Poweramp does not see my 64gb card but it's mounted and other file apps see the card. 3minit settings work and that's a plus but the Apex and Poweramp are my issues so far. Maybe an easy fix for someone, but I'm old ya know...
EDIT: Was able to freeze Touchwiz with TB and now Apex is default. PowerAmp may not be the ROM, however this is the first time I've had this with my flashing every ROM with my G4, G3, Maxx and on and on...

Sorry forgot to include in the op, this Rom has the PUREAUDIO 1.0 Studio Mod in it... may not work well with PowerAmp..

Well that's a bummer as PowerAmp is my music player. Love everything about the ROM. I've been following you, md4dodge for a while now and you produce great work. I'll try to find a work around to the player issue. A big thanks for the hard work you have put into this ROM and for joining the Verizon G4 site. :good:
This theme uses the VR Theme method so you should be able to flash it on any S4 Touchwiz ROM (S5 and Note 3 also reported working on version 6). Flash in Recovery after flashing your ROM of choice (Typical disclaimer about bricking your phone)
This themes the SystemUI, Framework, Browser, Settings, Calculator, Multi-Window Side Bar, Keyboard, Messaging, Glance View, Camera, Contacts, and Phone. To get the "Cobalt" battery you need to choose the "gear" battery in the settings on the Hyperdrive ROM.
Build 6.0 (06/04/14) KitKat
This is the updated build for KitKat ROMs including HD 16.1 (Chose "Stock" theme in Aroma install of Hyperdrive)
(This build was built primarily for the S4 but includes icons for the S5 and Note 3 and should work without issue on both devices running KitKat ROMs)

This is a really early "Beta" but feel free to point out any bugs you find. Basically at this point it's a touch of SystemUI, a touch of Framework, Settings, and a tiny bit done to the camera and contacts. To get an idea of what this looks like search the Play Store for Cobalt on CM10
Flash in Recovery, no need to wipe anything ... I don't think.

Dunno yet, probably depends on how many people use the theme. I'm still getting used to this VR_Theme to see what all I can do with it.
Was going to install yet alpha release and checked the thread first. Downloaded and flashed beta. Great job Dustin. Looking good so far. Love blue and black on my phone. Great combo. Can't wait to flash your next update. Put me down for more themeing and icons.

I flashed black it all out first then flashed cobalt.
