For a several days ago I was trying a mod for CM10.1, This mods makes a change for soundFX in our device and gives an unique experience in music playing with earphones and without them.

Included:
New SRS Xtreme libs.
New SRS WOW
New SRS True Bass
SRS Panel App (Modded MusicFX.apk from Google)
Modded audio_effects.conf
Added SRSAudioFilter.csv (SRS Xtreme file)
Awesome user experience
Installation:
Pleas before install: Delete DSPManager.apk or MusicFX if you have it. (also delete libcyanogen-dsp.so)
Download zip provided by me (Look at attachments.)
Install as normal zip in CWM Recover (no wipes needed)
Enjoy it!!!!!

Just delete libs libsrsfx.so and libsrstb.so from /system/libs/soundfx. And put again audio_effects.conf, dspmanager apk and dsp-cyanogen.so lib. Thats allí..

Of course it's works on all CM 10.1 based ROMs
Can I install it in a L3 (running CM9)? L7 and L3 have almost the same hardware, but I'm not too confident to do it
Yes, it works in any CM 10.1 based roms and olders, last time i tested in CM 10 and it works too. This mod don't changes anything of your rom, it only adds a new libs that makes music playing an awesome experience.
Working perfect on LG P708 CM10.1. The sound is very good ...
PD: I tried it on CM10, but the SRS Panel gives force close.

For me its work without delete other audio files; for the moment everything its ok.
If it is a fully working port...man you are great to bring this to the forum...thanks...going to test.

For maniacs of soud use this (is for s2 but work and xperia neo):
For they who likes SRS audio effect here is a zip files (use CWM).Instructions:
0.make a backup if dont like or something is wrong
1.in system/lib/soundfx/ remove libbundlewrapper.so(if you have)
2.in system/app/ remove DSPmanager and MusicFX(if you have)
3.reboot enter in CWM and flash the zip
4.clear data cache and dalvik cache
5.reboot and enjoy

Yes you can use miui player without beats audio.

I didn't like miui player so uninstalled it.....I'm currently using PlayerPro music player and I'm satisfied with it, it provide all features and also it provide widget on locked screen and also we can play pause next from notification bar....so I'll stick with it only.....also I'll give a try to your new uploads.....
I tried srs on KA17.2 and CM9 player, and now both speaker/headphones are blowing... I had to disable effect or else it's impossible to listen to music.

Credits to r-ikfoot for making the MOD for Galaxy S, SII, SIII, and Note I, so there's no way this MOD wont work on Note II

You can use this app to directly install recovery into your rooted phone
Download
Or use ROM Toolbox Pro or Goo Manager app to install recovery in a second
I recommend you install recovery because you will need it alot (in all flashing and stuff)
I cant seem to give the link to the two apps above because for some reason my playstore isnt working
You can just search them hope it helps

In my omega 5 Rom it installs without any issues but there's no change in sound if I enable or disable it.
Only the standard equalizer works in the music player.
Thanks for your work, I really need to improve the audio quality of this note2.....

no i think you should keep to MBB because that is a much better mod
however there is a newer mod, which will simply blow you guys

credits to thiliniaC and r-ikfoot again...
but as good as this mod is, you will only have to flash it over a completely "sound-MODless" rom... that is you cannot flash it over if you have DSP manager....
that is because this mod has ALL sound mods and build.prop tweaks and WHATNOT combined in it, all discovered. so they will conflict with the older mod...
to increase volume like in MegaBassBeats, try this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1931970.....and yes, they both CAN be used side by side

Only thing I can't operate is the DSP3 mode itself........I've checked it at the sound menu,did't help....

it doesnt?
try to set dynamic range compression to extreme. then turn on music, during a part where music is playing, tick the dynamic range compression. if there is a slight pause in song then it means its working...if not...hmm....dsp manager may not be compatible with your music player?
it works with stock music player. it doesnt work with atleast PowerAMP afaik
I am from Germany and English is not my first language, so it is a little bit hard for me to understand sarcasm without the gestures.
Which of these 3 mods should I install now? Which is the best one? And if I have to make a "clean" install how can I remove my current mod?

but to install this. you will need to flash your rom again.
if you do not want to do this, then remain on your current mod. its best.

I´ve installed the current upload from the OP...and the same happens on my Note. Installs fine, but DSP manager doesn´t do anything (just a note: I used DSP manager for a long time, so I know how to use the app itself ).
Any hint?

I didn't install non of the two versions , i just explored the zip's, and they are totally different, v2 is(was) no update, its almost a different rom.
And why do you put paid apps in your rom's ??

Yes sorry it was a a fail, I´m so sorry but when I was uploading the rom something was wrong so I put others of my roms, but now the link is availabe, and instead of two zips is only one.

Yes, i installed the v2 , and.. no offense but i dont like it, i dont like the look of it
There is no NORMAL camera like the stock one or similar, the hdr camera is a toy not a camera app.
I see there is a advanced power menu, but reboot to recovery doesn't work with the included CWM.
Contacts force closed after 5 seconds, the aroma installer is in "englo/spanish or something.." .
I didn't tried every option/app, i restored my rom after 5 minutes of usage , sorry.
The only thing i liked is the smoothness, but you can get that with buid.prop or some other init.d or etc scripts/tweaks.

as the default launcher on carbon is launcher 3
1.cant install as normal apk signature conflict
2. deleted default launcher and installed as normal apk not working , flashed through cwm not working ,moved to system apps rww not working
at last just flashed (cwm) over the default launcher 3 works now :good:
hotword works best ever , even ok google misses on g launcher this one never miss anything

1.flash eXtremeBeats V 4.1 Muses_LOLLIPOP_OPTIMIZED_r2_BY_Androidexpert35
2.Install ViPER4Android_FX_A2.3.apk first then install ViPER4Android_FX_A4.x.apk. .open viper app and install driver, reboot

Works nicely for songs, but this messed up some of my video audio output, both speaker and over wifi. It is as if people are talking under water. Lil bit of echo effect too.

Hey, any idea as to how to get it to stick on CM 12.1? Cuz it doesn't process on PowerAmp and MixRadio, on most other players it does..
Edit: never mind, found the solution, turned off direct volume control..
