Beware the MyBonus135.com Scam - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Mods, please feel free to move this somewhere you find more appropriate, but I wanted to get it out there, before anyone gets sucked in. Received calls, on both mine and my wife's lines today, that the caller ID identified as the VZW CS number. Apparently it's been spoofed. There was a recorded message directing me to wwwDOTmybonus135.com, to receive a $135 credit on our next bill. The page looks just like the VZW homepage, but it is NOT. Do not log in, unless you want to give someone your account info. I spoke with Verizon, and they said it is definitely not from them.

I got a call from that too! I ignored it because I have a corporate phone, and don't actually own the account. It did sound kind of fishy though.

Hey look! I put in a random user and password and must have guessed right or something because I won!! Woahh ;D

Time to petition them to make one for the best phone ever!
I'd be willing to pay in excess of $100 for that! (AUD)
Post you comments and / or email your interest.
The Touch HD is almost identical size to the 3G iPhone so perhaps they may produce one for us too.
Don't bother putting a xenon on one of the worst camera phones aka iPhone.
3. Is it available now? Where can I get it?
Snapture Flash is still a prototype, and Snapture Labs is actively seeking manufacturing partners to bring it to market. We are taking pre-orders now, you can sign up today and we will reserve one for you.
Looks like you may have a long wait as they haven't even made one yet !!

much easier to get a response if you posted in the correct thread....
could be something with the sms server of your provider.
check settings and say sorry to one of the moderators because you didn't followed the rules !
Post in correct thread
Mine was doing this for awhile, turns out it was my SIM card, all the taking it out and putting it back in during flashes had worn it down a bit. I went and got a new one for free and it hasnt happened since! Your mobile provider should give you a new one for free!

Post in the appropriate thread. Just as everyone else has suggested.

what the heck are these?

for the past several days i keep getting these popups browsing this site and only this site in firefox. what gives?
they get some ads injected that are trying to put crap on my pc or what? not blaming xda at all, just looking for an answer.

ignore the second one, i figured out what it is, though i have no idea why it would randomly pop up while idling on xda. still confused about the other
ya, that's definitely not normal. It sounds like you may have malware or something if multiple things are popping up like that, but please please let them know in this thread here in case it's one of the ads here acting up.
i think i've got it sorted out. seems it was a combination of things. one being a jacked up firefox add-on, the other being a tiny piece of malware that was only detected by today's Symantec definition release

Long text messages coming through with long time between parts

Since getting my p9000 I've noticed an issue when people send me long text messages. The parts come through with up to an hour between them. I initially thought it to be a network problem but it only happens on this phone. If I put my SIM in another phone it's fine and if I put my wife's SIM in the p9000 she gets the same issue.
This caused an issue last week as I replied to an SMS with "that sounds great", only to get the second part of the message 30 minutes later informing me of the death of a relative. The sender had no idea the messages had come through delayed and found my response inappropriate.
It happens regardless of which SMS app I use.
Anyone else experiencing it?
Here you can see an example of the time between messages.

^ Is this the same message you received?
Also, some of these people are trying to scam others into giving out their codes by asking for their build.prop files. From what I understand, they can extract device serial numbers and other identifiers from the file, which lets them claim promotional rewards like this in-game item without the knowledge or consent of whoever uploads their build.prop file.
