Hi peeps, Happy CNY!
Today, I came with a question.
My current phone :
1. ROM : Android AOSP 2.3.7 Beta1 by slaid480 and EmoBoiix3
2. LagFreeV2 script installed. Patched SystemUI.apk with the CM7.2 transparency.
3. Launcher : iLauncher (Full iPhone look with spotlight, smooth scrolling etc..)
MY QUESTION :
I'm using MIUI v4 themes which is very similar to iPhone transition look and cool MIUI themes with tiny bugs which I doesn't realise until now.
The theme support transparency and my status bar support transparency too. The problem is, iLauncher does not support transparency status bar like Go Launcher EX or ADW.Launcher. For more similarity to iPhone, iLauncher does not support Live wallpaper too.
Q :Is there any solution that could enable my status bar transparency in my current phone?
Could it be possible to edit xml files so that transparency is enabled automatically without live wallpaper or selected launchers?

And I'm trying to find themes that support the transparent statusbar mod. I'm currently running lunarui but struggling to find others. What themes are you using?

I'd like to see what themes people are using too. This MIUI V4 theme has a transparent status bar by default, but more opaque than LunarUI it seems.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Ace which I'm running CM7.2.0 RC0 KANG Deodexed on.
I've tried numerous patches for a transparent status bar, but just can't seem to get anything working. I'm far too much of a noob to mod the SystemUI.apk for myself!
I'm just wondering if there are any ROMs available that have one built in?
GingerDX for the Xperia X8 has that mod, but the bar only is transparent at the lockscreen or if there is an app running (at the homescreen the bar isn't transparent).
Stock ics has semi-transparent status bar.

Ok first of all credit goes to basil for this. The original zip made by basil will change the status bar,siginal, and wifi and Weather widget time to a nice colorful theme. I just simply modified it to where you can have just the status bar themed or just the weather widget clock themed. Or you can download the original and have both themed like it was originally designed for. Just flash as normal in recovery. You must wipe dalvik cache after the install. I forgot to take a screen shot of how it would look with both the status bar and the clock themed however here is a screen shot of the status bar themed like how i wanted it to be. This is designed to work with 4..2.2. It has been tested on mine and my wifes HTC One both using trick droid 7.5.
EDIT I ALSO ADDED A SCREEN SHOT OF THE THEMED WEATHER WIDGET CLOCK ONLY...
STILL DIDNT TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF BOTH THE STATUS BAR AND WEATHER WIDGET THEMED. USE YOUR IMAGINATION =)

Colored status bar only- only themes the status bar wifi,siginal
colourise clocks and status 4.22- is the original file that will theme both

How to install the rom
1-Open CWM recovery by pressing the volume up, home button and power button at the same time when the phone boots
2-Navigate using the volume buttons to wipe data/factory data reset and then press the power button to confirm
3-Navigate to wipe cache partition and press the power button to confirm.
4-Go to advanced and go down to wipe dalvik cache.
6-Select install zip
7-Choose the file from the storage
8-Enjoy
How to install Gapps
1-Open recovery by pressing volume up, the home button and the power button when the phone first starts booting
2-Wipe cache and dalvik cache

FAQ
Why are there two settings apps?
Due to not being able to hide one of the apps, the user should hide one of the settings apps and leave the one he wants to use.
How to solve the problem of have the AOSP lockscreen appear sometimes after unlocking the phone?
In order for this to not happen, the user must open settings->Lock Screen->Screen Security and select none.
Why are there two clock apps?
The default cm clock app in addition to the touchwiz themed one is added in case the touchwiz one doesn't work.

and can put 2 more screenshots for the menu from the inside, and the notification panel please.
but i have to ask is it stable?any FC's?can we use it as a daily basis ROM?any known bugs?

What about the battery backup. With cm roms it is the biggest issue.

yes it does, ill see if I can add the themed tiles for it to be like the actual touhwiz one
battery is actually quite good, for me it lasts about 2 days with general use

yes you can use it as a daily rom, it is based on cm10.1 stable, the only bug is with the launcher when you open the app drawer and then zoom out of it it fc's. without zooming out the app drawer perfectly works fine.
as for the notification drawer, it will be themed like the actual touchwiz one in the next build, only the sttusbar icons are themed for now.

for me the two things attract me to CM roms...
1) Theme chooser
2) 4.2.2 toggle tiles-- (The animation)
but i get forced to roll back due to bad battery backup.
I can't download it. Any mirror?

Revolution didnt port any water or flare effect. Its just an app. You can find it in Christian Nothings thread
