QMobile A2 Classic rooting problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

QMobile A2 Classic is a recently released phone.
It is different from QMobile A2.
It is based on MediaTek 6575 chipset.
I have tried without any success the following ways to root it:
-> Manually copying su binaries to system folder via ADB.
-> Installing su binaries from stock recovery.
-> Reading stock ROM to modify it.
-> Using all the available vulnerabilities to copy su binaries.
The reasons for not succeeding as far as I understand are:
-> Locked bootloader.
-> Stock recovery (3e) doesn't allow non-signed updates.
-> No access to download mode.
-> Locked bootloader.
Possible fixes for these issues:
-> Currently no way to unlock the bootloader.
-> Modify 3e or install any custom recovery, but root required for that.
-> Get a copy of stock ROM.
-> Currently no way to unlock the bootloader.
So, the only option right now is to modify a copy of stock ROM and flash it.
Good news is that someone has been able to read the CPU flash file of QMobile A2 Classic.
Download, credits to original uploader.
I need help in modifying and then flashing this file.
Or if anyone can think of some other way to root this mobile.

Hi r u a Pakistani if u r i need your help can you please help me.I dont need hellp i developing apps i just wanna know about google play registeration process..

Xperia E3 Root Issue- Need Guidence Please help

Hi
I Decided to Unlock the bootloader as well as enable root access inorder to upgrade my kitkat4.4.4 to lollipop 5.1.
The bootloader unlocking went smooth and I continued to enable root access.
I downloaded the Supersu file and tranmsfered to my sd card . The websites were offered a D2203 4.4.2 boot file image. I used the flashtool -> flashboot mode -> Select kernal to flash -> selected the downloaed image and flashed while i had connected my phone while having blue notification light on. No problems occured.
Next i enter'd the CWM menu and installed the supersu zip. All went smooth and i re-booted.
Next , after rebooting my device is stuck in a bootloop. I can only access the CWM menu , tried to Restore factory settings/ Wipe data , Nothing worked.
Please help me identify mistake(s) i've done and solutions to fix the root access and successfully be able to install lollipop 5.1 on my device .
Links to guide / basic understanding of customising android would be a great help.
Thank You.

I hope so. ?
Finally I succeed in installing a non standard recovery and in getting root permission.
I don't know if someone is still interested in such device, but here is the material you need.
In the enclosed zip you'll find:
recovery.img: it's a PhiltZ touch recovery (based on CWM), the only one I got working because it uses the phisical buttons of the phone. In this device the touch is not working in recovery mode. I tested all the main functions (wipe, install, backup e restore), and they are all working, the minor ones are untested. This recovery reads and writes only from internal storage (not from the external SD). To install it, you need "SP Flash Tool", which can be downloaded from Mediacom site, in the relative device page.
MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin e MT6735M_Android_scatter.txt: are the "download-Agent" and the "Scatter loading file" you have to use in SP Flash Tool to flash the recovery. The scatter file is already setted to flash only the recovery, not other parts of the firmware. Be sure, before flashing, that only recovery item is checked in the Download page of SP Flash Tool, with the proper recovery path in "Location".
BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip: it's the zip archive to get root permission. Install it via recovery, after you have tested that the recovery is working for you.
recoveryORG.img: it's the original recovery, for restoring purposes. Install it (if you need to restore your phone to the original state) with SP Flash Tool, in the same way.
N.B.: Of course, I do not take any responsabilities about brick or problems may occur to your phone after using this material. . If you decide to use it, you do at your risk, aware that this type of changes always involves a minimum of risk if something goes wrong.

ROCO C805 / E1027 ROOT or ROM Android 6 or 7

Hi all,
I've this 8" cheap chinese tablet (MT8163, 2GB RAM, 16 GB storage, 1200x800, dual speakers), that was dead. Board is a V1b
I found some rom on needrom with Android 7 image, although I was said it originally came with Android 6.
Both rom's for ROCO C805 and/or Philips E1027 flash ok (the bootloader was gone and now, using the bootloader from E1027 I can flash either rom), but the device has no audio on speakers.
My guess was a bad port and I tried to change system.img puting libaudio*.so from other rom's. The problem is that I can't root using any of the methods I found and used before, and I cant repack system.img cause the system will not boot showing errors due to the files I changed.
I was able to unlock bootloader but I can't root with standard su from sd card or using the tools such as mtk android tools, all-in-one. when I flash the recovery.img (cwm, twrp, etc) the device simply will not boot and stay on the bootloader (fastboot, etc.)
So I'm pretty stuck here and don't know what to do next. I don't want to quit because it is my young sun's tablet and I want to learn from this as well.
Thank you for all your help.
Please post any questions needed!

Hey i just received this device today,. have you had any luck yet?
Tab E 10
The key to root is always the boot.img file of the device , or a device-specific twrp ! For the X 104 F i did not find a twrp on the net . This means you have to get the boot.img and go with Magisk !
- download and start on your laptop "lenovo moto smart assistant "
- connect the tab and go to "rescue" , there choose your precise model
- follow the instructions ......the LMSA starts to download a rescue file in .zip format
- once the download (app 1GB) is finished , stop the process
- now the TB_X104F_S100020_180831_ROW_DCC.zip is on your laptop
- open menu in the upper left corner and under "Download center " you will be pointed to the location of the .zip file on your laptop
- open the zip and there is your boot.img , next to other useful files
- extract the boot.img to harddrive and follow the instructions to install Magisk ........done , you are root ! (the instructions for Magisk you find on the net )
Do you have detailed step-by-step instructions on how you created the recovery and used it with Magisk to root the device? Did you also install a custom ROM?

You don't have to have a custom recovery to root it. Just use the above steps get the boot img then patch it with magisk and replace the stock boot img in the download file through the Lenovo tool and recover your device and you now have a rooted tablet. Just install magisk manager and it will install magisk because the boot img is already patched
Would anyone happen to have a step by step of how to install resurrection remix oreo for this tablet i got it rooted by above method but now i wish to know if it is possible to install RR and if so what all do i need..

Custom Recovery (TWRP etc) for Alcatel U3

I have a Alcatel U3 4055T phone (same as TCL 4055T) and I have tried all the simple methods (PC/APK …Kingroot, kingoroot etc) of rooting it with NO SUCCESS. It has Android 6.0, Baseband MT6737M, 3G/LTE. Now I have thought of trying rooting it manually, I have read online and figured out that I might need do as follows:
(1( UNLOCK the boot-loader
(2) FLASH a custom Recovery (TWRP)
(3) EXTRACT Boot image from the phone
(4) PATCH the image in (3) with Magisk
(5) FLASH the patched image back to the phone
I have just successfully unlocked the boot-loader BUT I can find any version of TWRP or any other custom recovery to FLASH into my phone. I have tried all suitable TWRP(s) that I could find online with no success.
PLEASE help me out in rooting my phone … any help from the members and admins will be highly appreciated.
This is to inform that I have successfully rooted this phone using Magisk and now I can enjoy all those apps which require root. I wish to thank the makers of Magisk ... this was simple and straightforward . BUT I I still have stock recovery.
Hello friend can you share the details, I just installed Magisk but cant find any option to root.

Well … the method I had used only applies to devices with MTK chips. The Best part is that the device only gets rooted after boot && running a script. Means if you wish to keep it un-rooted (for some reasons) you can also do that. The package contains 2 apks and one of them is “magisk” … and other is “mtk-easy-su” install both , you only have to run the later and it will execute magnisk. You can also tic the box for automatically root at boot. Here is the package: https://offlinemodapk.com/mediatek-easy-root-apk/#more-3134
To run those kinds of application, you need the Magisk Manager app if you have a rooted device. By enabling the magisk hide on the app, you would able to run whatever application you need, which cannot work on rooted devices. Becric
