Bounty Details
So as we all know, the new VRUAME7 update that came out on July 9th (initially starting as just an update via Samsung Kies or the Verizon Upgrade Assistant) and the following day releasing as an official OTA for everyone has officially broken the current root method that is available. The reason being is the new bootloader now prevents you from flashing the VRUAMD2 pre-release kernel (or any kernel for that matter) and even prevents you from downgrading the bootloader itself back to the original VRUAMDK firmware that came on our devices. As a result, everyone that has received this update has officially lost root (no surprise there), with no way of getting root back at the moment (slightly surprising there but ultimately not).
Since this is XDA, a vast percentage of us here desperately need root for many of our apps and mods that we use on a daily basis (including myself), not to mention custom recoveries so we could flash custom ROMs and such. It is now very critical that we (at the minimum) get root access back on this new firmware as soon as possible. As a result of this necessity, I would like to personally offer a $100 bounty to the first person able to find or create a method, exploit, or unlock that allows us to fully root and provide the necessary steps for rooting the Verizon Galaxy S4 here on XDA. I know it may not be much but seeing as how the previous root exploit was provided for free impressively quick with a huge thanks to Dan Rosenberg, I am hoping this small bounty will be able to motivate a few advanced developers or security experts to attempt and do likewise on this new highly secure update for our devices.
Whoever you are, you will be doing us and many other upcoming owners of this device a great justice and for that consider this as a token of my appreciation. I also greatly encourage and welcome anyone else willing to chip in to this bounty to post here and I will have the OP updated of all users' donations to this request.

You know what, I have previously donated to Koush in the past between buying his apps through the store and sending money once. I know the Dev's for Android put in a lot of time and effort to keep this community what it is, and being the proud owner of what was once a great Samsung Galaxy S4 that has now become a Glorified iPhone due to its locked bootloader and its massive bloatware by Verizon to many people that have updated their devices I want to contribute to this bounty!

Since this is xda, and a vast percentage of us here desperately need root for many of our apps and mods that we use on a daily basis (including myself), not to mention custom recoveries so we could flash custom roms and such. It is now very critical that we (at the minimum) get root access on the verizon galaxy note 3 as soon as possible. As a result of this necessity, i would like to personally offer a $25 bounty to the first person able to find or create a method that allows us to fully root and provide the necessary steps for rooting the verizon galaxy note 3 here on xda.
Furthermore, I would like to personally offer a $50 bounty to the first person able to find or create a method that allows us to bypass the bootloader checks and boot into a custom recovery and provide the necessary steps here on xda.
Whoever you are, you will be doing us and many other upcoming owners of this device a great justice, and for that consider this as a token of my appreciation. I also greatly encourage and welcome anyone else willing to chip in to this bounty to post here and i will have the op updated of all users' donations to this request.

Not a rumor, he stated in a couple different threads that he is done with Samsung phones & is advising everyone to go to other brands.
I'm going to remain optimistic that @Hashcode will save the day once root is achieved.

Bounty Details
This LG G3 has literally been my dream device ever since it was annouced. Not since the Galaxy Nexus have I been so excited for the release of a phone. This phone has it all, and the only thing it is currently missing is an unlocked bootloader or a loki exploit. Some of you may think Safestrap is worthy of a bounty, I however do not. Not being able to change kernels or versions of Android is a huge draw back that I am not willing to overlook. I am hoping this bounty, as with any others that choose to pledge here, would be a helpful motivation to the developers willing to invest the time and effort in helping us unlock the potential of this great new device. Or (where applicable) that this bounty will be a humble counter-offer to other potential sources of revenue for such work.
As the level of difficulty increases with each new device, the level of appreciation and admiration for those willing to find (and help find) such exploits increases exponentially. I cannot express my gratitude enough, for those who choose to tackle such an endeavor. In this vein, I would highly encourage any and all VZW/ATT LG G3 users to consider pledging a donation towards the efforts in helping us achieve this unlock. Please consider chipping in to this bounty, as this can only help increase our chances - and will help keep our variant in the minds of those who are willing and capable of finding an exploit. Those who want to help find an exploit, such as myself, but that lack the knowledge and experience in linux/java - this is your opportunity to help by contributing within your means. To reemphasize; this bounty is for achieving a bootloader unlock, or an exploit such as loki that allows us to change kernels and versions of Android.
