Can't Access SD Card after Cyanogenmod 10.1 - HTC Amaze 4G

Hi guys, i searched the forum before making this thread so hopefully im not spamming like an idiot, heres the deal:
I recently switched to Cyanogenmod 10.1 from Stock ICS Rom on Amaze 4g, before switching i was able to see both my internal and external sd cards when i plugged the phone to windows, they would show as "Htc Storage" and "External Disk", however after i installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 whenever i plug in my phone i only get "Disk F" and its only the internal storage, i can still access my SD card from within the phone itself and i actually store there pictures and music and stuff, but if i try to connect to the pc to download the pictures from the camera im unable to, it just wont show up.
I tried turning usb debugging off, back on, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and i still cant seem to get it to work on windows, i tried this in two different pcs with both windows 7 and 8.
Its not a life or death situation but its certainly annoying, so any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You basically just download a ruu and run it in bootloader. You also have to out it on the root of the sd card (not in folders). And also name it to PH85IMG.
That's what I remember I'm not an expert on ruus.

Applies only if your s off or else download the correct ruu according to the cid number

Yup.
I think he should use other Rom for this Bcoz according to my knowledge cynogenmod doesn't support two SD card mountind
Bcoz they made is as a standard.
But RUU is the best way I think.

No your all wrong this has been said a thousand times if you need to access both card use mtp for mouting
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium

I fixed the SD card issue using MTP like he said, now my only problem is the broken video recording on cyanogenmod 10.1, has anyone found a fix for it? I tried searching the forum once again but i could not find one, i even tried flashing the 4.3 camera app and still, video recording is a no go.

Go in the dev thread and look for posts on July 1

1-3: Flash clockworkmod onto your android and choose "Install from zip" this will allow you to manually update your phone as well as install apps. For the google play app, look for "Gaaps".

[Q] Move apps to external storage (Micro SD) on GO

Guys, I have a GO which is running android 4.0.4 and unrooted.
Recently I found out my internal SD is almost fulled,
therefore I want to move them to my micro SD but there is no such a button in settings.
(Only Internal SD <--> phone)
I googled that and I found out that this thing seems to be removed on android 4.
Now here's the problem:
I viewed a page from bongizmo (Im new here I cannot post links here so google these: "bongizmo app to sd" and click the first link)
and I tried to use adb tool to achieve that.
BUT, the adb cannot identify my device despite:
1) I have turned on Debug mode.
2) I have installed the latest driver which I found on Sony PC Companion.
3) Both Sony PC Comp. and Windows XP identified my device! Only adb DIDNT!!!
I really need some help very soon 'cause my phone is going to be fulled,
I really appreciate you guys if you can help me get this thing done.
THANX A LOT.

[Q] Problem with USB Connection, Only recognized as camera

Everything was running smooth. Then I accidentally hit the camera(PTP) button on the USB options. Now every time i try to connect my note2 to my PC. It automatically goes into PTP mode. Go to USB options click on Media device (MTP) and it just keeps going right back to PTP immediately. Does anyone have this problem or a solution for me?
I've tried Reinstalling Kies, and drivers. Pulled the battery, basically tried everything and anything i could findon any thread with no luck. HELP!

AAAAAAHHH!
Any update on this? Anyone find another solution? I'm trying to pull a bunch of stuff off my Note 2 to put on my Note 3, but am stuck in this situation. I guess in a pinch I can copy everything from phone to SD card with ES File explorer then read the card directly, but that would suck.
Yeah man, that's probably what you'll have to do...alternately you can use adb and the terminal to copy all of your stuff pretty easily, but if you're not familiar that would be your best bet

[Q] Update to JB lost USB mass-storage

Hi, I'm on the standard HTC software, so no rooting, no custom ROMs, etc.
In the most recent update (a few weeks ago), the device was taken from (I think) Android 4.0.4 to 4.1.2, so from ICS to JB. However, in doing that, the ability to access the SD card via USB mass-storage seems to have vanished and has been replaced with MTP. This means that I can no longer access the filesystem on the SD card via USB, which I do with Picasa, DoubleTwist, as well as the audio system in my car.
HTC tell me to install the (rather useless and bloated) HTC Sync Manager, but this doesn't give me what I need. They say there is no way to go BACK to the previous version of the OS.
So, my wise friends, I'm asking if anyone has any idea as to how to solve this problem and again get back to being able to see the SD card as a USB mass-storage device.
Many thanks for your help.

Possibly that can work, but it's not going to help me in the car! I need the SD card filesystem to be visible, as it was before.
The thing is, that HTC removed UMS completely on JB in favor of MTP. MTP allows you to connect your device to a PC without the need to unmount before removing as it uses push / pull commands directly. So if your device in the car supports MTP, you are good to go. Otherwise, you can try to connect it via 3,5 mm audio clinch cable if your car radio has an auxialiary port for that.
well, theoretically you CAN go back to ICS, but you have to unlock your bootloader (might be a problem when it comes to warranty), flash a custom-recovery (for jellybean hboot 1.25) and flash a custom- or stock-rom based on ics.
i recommend ckpv5's myONEdx RC4.0 FX+, imho its the best and most bug-free ics custom-rom.

Completely unistalled or just dragged to the trash can?
Important! You must uninstall Kies for Mac before running Android File Transfer. Otherwise, the application will not connect to your device.
To uninstall Kies, download the Kies for Mac software by visiting the Kies website.
From Finder, click Go > Downloads > KiesMac_xxxx.dmg > Uninstall.
Why do you even need to connect your phone to the mac to root? Unless you have a 64gb sd card your going to have to format the sd card by taking it out of your phone first.
Did all those things don't have 64 gig SD card so how do I start this root without connecting I'm not a noob to custom recovery always read and with this Mac junk these phones really do have major compatibility issue

The card just needs to be formatted correctly.
Once that is done you need to extract the files to the root of the card.
You should be able to format the card in the phone.
Take the card out of the phone and use an adapter to directly connect to the Mac.
That's what I did.
