Snapchat camera orientation problem - Galaxy Ace S5830i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Searched aroud for a solution to this but nothing found. Using the Snapchat application, my S5830i's camera orientation is rotated 90 degrees, not matter which way round my phone is. It'll take a picture and appear to rotate it before sending, but I'm unsure if it's the right way round for the recipient.
Anybody else been dealing with this bug, or have any suggestions?
I'm running Excalibur 6.1.
Thanks

My G sensor seems to work perfectly with other application i.e. teeter, opera and Calibration working as well. I tried to changed to interval value 150 ms but no luck. Anyone have anyidea? I tried few different rom no luck either. thanks in advance.
Hi, this is not the proper forum to discuss this particular inquiry. Have you tried the search button?
You may try changescreen or G-Config

What version of Album did you cook into your ROM? If it's version 3.0, the behaviour has changed.
The Album menu options will rotate but the image will stay in it's original photographed rotation - i.e. portrait or landscape.
hilaireg.... Thank you very much... I was wondering why menu was rotating not tha pictures? Got the answer.

Camera questions (MMS and tapatalk issues)

Hey guys,
Quick question/issue:
Coming from an iphone4 (and damn glad to be on android) I noticed no matter what way I took a picture for MMS it would always auto rotate it the direction I wanted it to. Meaning, if I took a picture with the phone in vert mode (How you would normally hold a phone) the picture is sideways when sending it. Kind of annoying as this is how I usually take quick pictures.
Is there some auto rotation setting that I am missing with this? Friends are getting annoyed with me sending sideways pictures lol.
thanks!
Ditto, I noticed this as well. Not sure how to fix it.

Landscape Camera not always working

The issue is that sometimes turning the phone to landscape orientation causes the viewscreen to black out. Switch back to portrait and it comes back. I can take a picture, I just can't see what I'm taking a picture of.
I have the CM11 camera, CameraZoom, and ProCapture. I think this issue is happening in all of them but I'll have to experiment more if someone thinks it is an app issue. This is frustrating because it is not consistently reproducible - it happens when I'm out somewhere trying to catch a picture! I haven't been able to reproduce it in my kitchen.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Camera Bugs in firmware 122

Since updating to 122 firmware my Camera settings seem to disappear and reappear and portrait mode doesn't work as there is no blur present and no way to adjust it.
Please help as this phone is driving me to distraction. This is my second unit as first one had green light bleed!

I believe the AI blur is only applied to pictures taken using the forward facing camera.
Leastways that how my M20P seems to work (also on .122), never actually checked what it did on .108

Portrait mode forced in landscape and vice versa

Hi,
I'm having the weirdest issue. At first I didn't believe it because it's my mother in law's tablet, an ASUS K01B TF303K, and she's not the most tech-savvy. But after using it for myself for a couple of days, I have verified I truly have never seen this before. It's like the landscape- and portrait-mode are reversed. However, the screen is correctly upright all the time. It's readable, but the orientation is seen as landscape in portrait and vice versa. Screenshots attached.
It's mostly annoying when using it to read e-mail and when videocalling (couldn't screenshot that though), because the other party in the call does see us turned 90 degrees. As a result, the camera zooms in, so only my nose is visible when videocalling with other parties
Anybody got an explanation, and/or fix?
Try Set Orientation what is attached
Hi,
thanks for your reply. This does not fix my problem. As seen in the screenshots, the orientation itself is correct. However, the orientation-flag (if something like that exists) seems to invert portrait- and landscape-modes. That's why I provided the outlook screenshots:
In vertical, the message overview should not be visible by default. It is, however.
In horizontal, the message overview should be visible by default. As you can see, it isn't.
