Flashing Instructions
- Unzip the file
- Open Odin 3.07 (already included in the firmware package)
- Restart phone in download mode
(Press and hold Home + Power + Volume down buttons)
- Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
- Add CODE_N5110XXCMG2_1031850_REV01_user_low_ship.tar to CODE
- Add CSC_OXA_N5110OXACMG2_1031850_REV01_user_mid_noship.tar to CSC
- Add kona_wifi.pit to PIT
- Make sure re-partition is ticked
- Start flash, sit back and wait a few minutes.
- If you encounter any issues with the firmware (Any FC, Bootloop etc)
- Boot into recovery mode (Home+ Power + Volume Up)
- Choose to wipe/factory reset.
(THIS WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR DATA INCLUDING YOUR INTERNAL SD CARD!)
- Then choose reboot and you should be good to go!

I've rooted, deodexed, etc and it is working great except for one thing. I could no longer connect to my wifi router at work (Technicolor brand). It gets stuck trying to get an IP address. Everything works fine on my router at home.
If it wasn't for that, I'd be uploading a CWM compatible rom already.

Did you make sure your bluetooth was off? Samsung products with touchwiz are infamous for having issues with wifi when the bluetooth is on

The 5100 has a phone modern where as the 5110 only has a WiFi modem. My guess is no.

All is wipe and you can't install this with mobile odin but with odin 3.07

I downloaded almost all the ruu's till I found out that I couldn't make my rom cause of this new htc ****tttttttt about encrypting this, im running windows 8, and read about this 2 or 3 days ago..
I'll have to learn how to get this going for my personal pleasure of making my own roms... htc always has to do something stupid, why cant they just leave the fffffing bootloader unlocked, and leave the phone s-off, and just let us be...
the first thing I did when I unlocked the bootloader is nandroid without root, then when I rooted another nandroid,.... I keep those on my hard drive for emergency..
I dirty flashed this right over my stock rooted rom using CW Touch, boot took less than 30 seconds. No FCs, no errors, it just works.

PowerAmp player not working
Is anyone having problems running PowerAmp on any of the 1.29 based roms? I can get it to run on 1.27 but any of the roms based on 1.29 won't let it run. I tried winamp just to see if it would work and it did. The stock music player works too. Does the poweramp app just not play nice with the 1.29 versions?
stock radio 1.27 if i flash to 1.29 then flash back will i return to 1.27 stock radio thanks!
Edit we are s-on no radio will change ansewered my own ignorance thanks anyhow!

PowerAmp dead here too.
I have also discovered that for other music apps is that, while they will open and play music, any type of sound enhancement or equalization doesn't seem to work.
Well for some reason I could not get it to flash but I did a adb sideload and it flashes fine

Actually with how HTC did the unlock, s-on for the One, u can flash radios & kernels through recovery without issues. If u need a different radio, let me know.

3 - Connect the phone to the PC.
4 - Download and unrarthe "Odin3.rar" file to your desktop... and run "Odin3 v3.04".
5 - Click on the PDA tab, select the "CWM.v.6.0.2.7 (3botones.incl).Tar" file and press START.

STEP 2:Preparing the beast
Before you continue, you have to be sure that your microSD card has only one partition that fills the entire capacity, I mean... if you have an 4Gb microSD, this must be full FAT32 formatted.
1 - Turn Off the phone and remove the battery.
2 - Download the "[XXAMG4] KlurosuROM v2" file and copy it to your microSD
3 - Put the battery on and enter in Recovery Menu.
(Simultaneously press the buttons: VOL+, HOME and POWER tight at the same time until you see the Samsung logo screen)
3 - Once in recovery menu... do the following :
(to scroll through the menu use the VOL + and VOL - buttons. To accept, press the power button)
Go to ... " mounts and storage" and format as follows:
---/System
---/cache
---/data
---/sdcard
---/preload
Go to the top of the menu by pressing Back and do:
---"wipe data / factory reset" ...
---" wipe cache partition" ...
---"wipe Dalvik Cache" . (in advanced)
Now you have your phone in full reset... time to install the ROM:
Go to "install zip from sdcard "
- Go to "choose zip from external sdcard " and select "[XXAMG4] KlurosuROM v2"
-Wait two minutes to the end of install.
STEP 3:Configuring the phone
1. Once the phone is in android system, wait a few minutes for the phone is set up... and then restart.
2. Go to PlayStore and download SetCPU:
(give permission if it asks you)
Max: 1000
Min: 200
Governor: ondemand (CFQ)

This works flawlessly on stock slot?
I admit im scared to try...I bricked my old razr flashing stock and backups never restored properly.
I never again tried to flash to stock because of this. I think I might be ready.
So on Verizon MK2 these are the steps?
1- boot into safestrap
2-activate stock slot
3-backup stock slot
4-advanced wipe all but SD cards
5-flash venomous_vx_2.0_vzw_flawless1-420
6-reboot
Gave it a shot nice rom but having problem updating Google services.Says insufficient space.Cleared internal storage.

To be safe, you could install it on a slot, get it going, back it up and then restore it to your stock slot. Not sure about wiping. I would try it without first.

yeah just make sure and try it on a slot 1st. make sure you like the rom before commiting then make a backup and then restore to stock like tulsa said. wiping your stock can be dangerous just avoid wiping data too or your safestrap usually goes bye bye

Use an app to access data/app-lib folder in android.... I like Root Explorer..... When your in data/app-lib find any duplicate folders for services
For example I had trouble updating antutu benchmark. The folder had duplicates as follows
com.antutu.abenchmark-1 and also com.antutu.abenchmark-2
I delete the com.antutu.abenchmark-1 folder and reboot then go to playstore and update now works fine......
Just find the services folder and delete the -1 folder leave the -2. If you see more do this for each one that has both. Hope this helps others with the storage space issues.

Any luck on KK versions? I went back to HD15 because I couldn't get any KK rooms to worm besides stock NC2 pre rooted, which didn't have a working isis or a theme

Yeah brother I'm on chaos and loving it I ported this and foxhound a bit. But Phoenix. Imperium. Sammy deluxe. Venomous. Purified (sick). Car23. I've personally installed all those. I'm using nc5 or NC2 upgrade and modules with supersu always flashed afterward. With the matching modem and hlos odin and just installing one rom on main stock slot I go up to 4.4 and down no problem Knox in tact and I've probably flashed 40x

Try clearing data and cache. If that doesn't work remove and reinstall.

I've cleared cache rebooted deleted. It says unauthorized list sometimes when I try to update to

It does what it says. It disables the "Safe" Volume warning pop-up the first time you plug in headphones
ODEXED only for now because that's how I roll
Devs feel free to DeOdex and post update if desired. I will get around to it eventually. My device is Odexed and I don't have a platform to test

I flashed but after reboot i get FC on any app i click on and the messege keeps popping up even after pressing ok
Only way to solve is to reboot.
after i reboot if i leave my phone untouched it just reboots.

im on stock rom,
I havent been able to use my phone all day because of the fc.
The FC come from pandora and chrome even after i reboot

You can try and delete the Cache and Dalvik from recovery and see if that helps. Otherwise the only solution is to replace the framework.jar and framework.odex with a backup version. These can be extracted from any of the unmodified NE5 ROMS zip files and installed with root explorer or the like. assuming that those files weren't modified to begin with. It should work. This is the first report of any problem. Has anyone else experienced any negative effects from this mod?

Probably not going to happen. It looks like you are on Tmobile and we do not have the stock files for whatever rom you are running since this is a Sprint thread.

This will wipe the entire phone including internal SD I think.

I tryed everything in my power to fix what the mod broke. with no luck what so ever.
flashed a zip with the proper original framework.jar and framework.odex files and then I got stuck at the sprint spark yellow boot screen i wish there was a simple zip i could flash to fix this problum as i am really not happy about haveing to wipe my phone and download a full rom to reflash.
I cant get accsess to the firmwires I need. the servers keep reseting my download and the servers don't support resuming.
why am i stuck at the boot screen after flashing this in the first place?

Sorry, there isn't anything else I can suggest.
You are going to have to do a full wipe and install of a rom. I recommend installing one of the NE5 deodexed versions that are available.

flashed apolo light, 1% in 7 hours, no gps-lock, so far no gps enabled, and neither denying or allowing chrome location acces question just closing it,

Loved it look n performance but i face one issue ... i u cn help me out ...
after installing ROM .... phone charging is taking too long .... like in 20-25 minutes .... battery level raises on 2-3 % .... m charging after switching off the phone .... thn its charging at normal speed .... but charging while phone is on takes tooo mch time

The rom is 4.1.2 but it will show 4.4.2 n the kitkat easter egg is ported so its very difficult for a layman to recognize it as 4.1.2

"Android is Upgrading" annoyance

I'm having a problem with the phone boot after flashing the framework.
From now on I receive a "android is upgrading" "starting apps" message whenever I restart.
I did a search concerning the problem and the only solutions that I've found included fixing permissions on odex files, however, there are none on my phone. Wiping the Cache (and dalvik) and fixing permissions all have done nothing for me.
How do I get rid of that annoying message? Have I done something wrong during the flashing procedure? I installed the rom after a full wipe, then rebooted, then flashed the framework.
Your instructions in the OP said that one should "disable recovery flash" and "fix the su binary". I wasn't able to find the "disable recovery flash" option anywhere (looked in recovery mode and phone), and to be honest I did not understand the "fix binary" part. Is missing these steps maybe the cause for the "upgrading" message?
Any help would be appreciated, because other than these problems I really started to like this rom.

Does the message of android upgrading optimize all apps on boot or it disappears after a few seconds if it disappears after a few seconds and the phone starts then its normal i dont think if it would bother u much...The messages of disable recovery flash and fix su binary appear after flashing rom when you select reboot system now if it doesnt appear its alright until u face any issues with booting in recovery or root

Not checked if it was stock rom supports it then its supported only the settings app may be an issue fix is here
