I ask SMD4x12 processor phone is a fake or original Samsung Galaxy S3?

if you Google it, the first link is for a fake phone. so yes, it's fake.

Okay thank you! But only Antutu say this "SMDK4x12" thing. On the main windows its say "Authenticated S3 device" (my other S3 comes from Vodafone store also display this and smdk4x12!) In Cpu-Z the two phone got all information equal.
I can flash CF-root with Odin and its working fine. Roms from sammobile working also
It can be still a fake? Its important, pls help me!

if the Samsung features (multiwindow) work, it's genuine.

need guide for my new s2 i9100

so day after tommorrow i am geting my new galaxy s2.i need guide abt charging battery of it on first opening..like charge to full and need of trickle charging..is dere any need of trickle charging.??and any other things dat i have to keep in mind on first go.....
Charge it like you would any other electronic device when you first get it (chances are the battery could be anything up to 60-70% charged), I.E charge it as per instructions or simply charge it fully if there aren't specific instructions. It's not exactly rocket surgery. I remember mine was 62% charged when I got it, I simply charged it to 100% while it was switched on & started using it.
So far as stuff you need to know goes, Stickies are a good place to start.
is i9100L is better han i9100???

The thing is that Samsung does there ****ty business here!
They started selling i9100g's in i9100 boxes....So by looking at the box you cant tell that if its the g version or the other one.
Fortunately when i was buying my S2 i knew of this issue...So i got the salesman to open it first and checked it out in the about phone menu.
Thankfully it was the i9100
Dude the only way to make out is if you get to open it before you buy it.
Then go into the settings about phone menu and check phone model.
God save you if its the G variant!
Best Of luck

I've recently accuired the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-i9105P) and I've been looking everywhere for a tutorial on how to root my device, but I've found nothing, mainly because I keep getting tutorial on other models similiar to the Samsung Galaxy S2. So my question is, how do I root the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus?
Thanks in advance!

I think about 320 euro, I still remember that it was cheaper than the S2. But I have no idea on how to root it, so here I am. :silly:

Yeah, is cheaper. Here they sell it for around 640 dollars.
It's too soon for that device, you might have to wait a couple of more weeks to get some intel regarding that matter.

Don't flash anything that isn't intended specificly for your S2 plus.

This is the I9100 forum, A completely different device to i9105P. You wont find any info on rooting a non-I9100x here.

It might potentially be useful to look at attempts to root the Galaxy Grand (e.g. at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134216) - that's based on the same Broadcom SoC as the S2 Plus so the software is pretty similar. I think they're not identical enough to flash files designed for one onto the other, but the steps to root it should be the same.

I know the steps already, but the only problem is the firmware. It has been a few week, but no rooted firmware has been released for the Samsung galaxy s II plus (I9105p)
Root is now possible on the Galaxy S2 Plus thanks to chotu222.

Then you need to ask Samsung or at least give us the full specifications .Or try a Tizen forum .
If you want to flash IT then you flash stock roms via Odin .
But a big guess is you will brick the phone to a non fixable state .

I want to ask something that may sound offensive, but is not intended to be..
How do people who don't have any technical knowledge get these test phones? Are you part of a test program, or have you just purchased them somewhere?
If it's the former, how do you get on the test panel?
Also, how does Tizen run? You have a test o/s and are presumably meant to test it.. why on earth would you want to install Android? Surely you have your own daily phone as well as these test models?
I (Polv89 is by brother) have 2 Tizen test phone, so I would like to flash Android on one of it and compare them! This is the reason

Did you not have to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement though? Are you testing it, or was it simply a gift cos he didn't need it anymore?

Korean model is not an i9300 and doesn't have 4.2 so it sounds like a clone phone from your information.
If so then anything in this forum could destroy your phone, search Google for your actual clone instead.
Here is a Screenshot of My Phones "About Phone Menu"
Under Battery:
MODEL: GT-I9300
MADE IN KOREA BY SAMSUNG
and a bunch of other stuff.

That's a clone. Samsung phones does not contain a "Custom Build Version". So expect no further support from here as we don't know anything about clones here.
