I was wondering if anyone here had copies of the pldt telpad mediapad 7 lite rom. I have bricked my mediapad and restored a generic rom and it doesn't have the custom pldt dialer for the dock. If anybody has any copies of this firmware rom or even all apks related to pldt, please give me a copy. If you have some other backup methods, please post it here and if you may, add the steps on how i would apply this backup.

I have the same issue as well... i believe you just need to go to the nearest PLDT bussiness as well and they will flash it for free..
You can try to flash the other rom , the one for 931u

I tried that... it seems that the rom package contains a .zip file instead of the .app file... would they flash it for free even if they dont see the telpad splash screen at the beginning?

If u want to extract for ur purpose then use EXT4 Unpacker to extract it. Otherwise for me If u have Exact Indian Firmware then upload boot.img and system.img on google drive after zip it or rar it then share me google drive link.

You have to install CyanogenMod or some other custom rom , they basic on the AOSP .

I saw your post...
I was going to ask you witch was your problem...
I never had bootloop issues...just sometimes the device would do that but pulling out and in the battery and starting the phone again would have solved the problem...
If you know anyway I could create a ROM from my device...even if I think it's impossible because of Android Lollipop...

I´s possible ! I´m doing it right now but will take like 4 to 5 days.
If I am able to build the rom it will work on your device.

It a custom stock rom build by a china guy, he only load to baidu cloud which it impossible to download if u are from oversea. There is some features that he had added in. U are a lady??

Installation instructions
1. You should have stock EMUI 8 rom installed
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Unpack downloaded zip
4. Connect your phone with FASTBOOT mode and run RUN.BAT file. Choose "1" to install rom
5. If the Kangvip ROM version differs from the last stock ROM installed on your device, you should also flash BOOT.IMG , same number as the last stock ROM installed

I installed this rom, it booted up but there was lot of bloat and it changed my imei to something and I didn't have cellular connection and after factory reset it bootlooped, so make sure you have the correct phone and software version.
