Instructions:

Boot to recovery
Create backup
Flash zip
Wipe caches
Reboot and be happy
What's not working:
On sense roms photosphere will cause force close
Else: You tell me

Everything is fine and fast as it should e.g. rendering
If I am at gallery and want to edit some of the pics there is a fc ...

Right. This is supposed to be working on all aosp, based roms like aosp, aokp, cm, carbon, everwolf, paranoid android, etc.
only sense based roms wi´ll force close on photosphere.

Unfortunately it keeps crashing.
So is that due to not being ICS-compatible or do I have to adjust something?
I really miss that app. I love the look and also the unified inbox where you can refresh all accounts at the same time!

It is not compatible with ICS, I believe, because it keeps crashing too - in my experience... I went back to ICS version...

Go into settings, applications, all applications find email then uninstall updates. This will revert it back to the stock ICD.

Its a massive job. Are you a developer already? If not, I would strongly recommend starting smaller

Why woud you like that? It's made for the Chinese market so you need to replace most of the existing applications! Only the multitasking feature is a nice gimmick. Why you don't try Miui or Lewa first? Those ROM's have actually great built in features.
I have been using LeWa, from the time it was based on GB on my zte blade. I used MIUI from the time, it was ported to nexus 4.
In similar lines, want to try FlyMe for some time.. It looks so pretty.. And it will be great experience on nexus 4.. Now I have multiboot, with lewa, miui, Ubuntu and Firefox..

So why don't you get a system dump or a stock rom and extract the apps you are interested in? You can find them in /system/app or /data/app. I could be interested as a developer but not for the Nexus 4. I am getting Nexus 5.

But actually he asked to get the apps from Flyme OS to his Nexus 4, didn't he? And most apps he mentioned (Music, etc) do not need framework to work.

Meizu released, MX3 Flyme OS 3.6.1A Public Test, its based on Android 4.4 wth ART support. Atleast now, someone will be interested to port to Nexus 4.

Hi everybody.
i have to post here, because i am not allowed to post in the Development Thread.
I have some problems with the Elegancia ROM and hope that someone can help me. I have flashed the last version 24 three times already.
- H and LTE is not displayed, although at installation selected.
- Smartphone restarts itself automatically. In three days now four times.
- Today suddenly my home WiFi connection was gone and I had to re-add it in the phone.
Unfortunately, what is worst of all, I have no signal in places where I normally always had signal. It is reported to me "no service" and it takes a few seconds until I have received back.
I am at a loss, because I'm quite happy otherwise. Battery life is great and the performance is good.
Unfortunately, however, even here the lockscreen can not completely deactivated.
I hope someone can help me.

First off I run that on my HTC one without any issues. I would try downloading it again, wipe completely and then flash it again. Something had to not be right in the install that you previously did.

Might not be what you want but maybe try another rom. Not all HTC ones ore built the same. I know with insert coin you can change the signal icons extensively.
