[L7] [ROM] Xperia Z Rom [V1] 4.2.2 By AmrAllam7[DISCONTINUED] - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Android Development
Hi Everyone:laugh:I don't know mach about how to great a rom but i have make a one for one week!
Its xperia z modded on cm10.1 so read carefully to get every thing worked i have searched in this forum about the xperia apps for one month and i have tried it and every thing worked:good:
Instructions...........:
1-Download Rom Zip Xperia Z Rom By [AmrAllam7 V1]
2-Flash it via cwm
3-Flash Rom By:
A-Boot into cwm and wipe data and cache
--------B-Go to advance and wipe dalvek cache
--------C-Back to official page then go to mount and storage
--------D-Mount system---->format system
--------C-Back to main page then go to install zip from sd card ----->search for the zip---->click on it then yes and wait until it finish

4-Flash Gapps By:
--------A-go to install zip from sd card ----->search for the zip---->click on it then yes and wait until it finish
Then reboot to system
Then Make your account and finish setup
Then you have to go to setting--->themes--->xperia z--->choose it
Then Download Xperia z Apps.zip and extract it [IT'S NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP JUST EXTRACT IT]
Then copy them to your sd card and install them one by one [YOU MUST DO THIS TO GET EVERY THING WORKED PROPERLY]
Then when you'er finished Download Xperia z wallpapers.zip [IT'S NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP JUST EXTRACT IT - ITS OPTIONAL]
Then Enjoy My Rom IN Your Device

5-when finished the setup from cwm and the system you well find the normal cm launcher you must go to apps zip and find Xperia launcher and install like normal app [BECAUSE IF YOU PUSH IT TO SYSTEM HE WELL FC AND DONT RUN AFTER EVERY REBOOT SO JUST INSTALL IT AS NORMAL APP AND SELECT IT]

Stop using caps, that's makes you furiously or something.
Don't INCLUDE paid apps in ROM. You include Root Explorer V3 which absolutely paid. Odd, isn't it ?

Extract the parts with 7zip, not winrar
ROM looks good but I still need to test games and stuff, along with battery usage, etc

Hi Bro:laugh:
Download all parts and put them in one folder and extract it using 7zip for PC.
If you using your device for extracting you can use ---Simple Unrar--- free on market.
After extracting you well find one zip copy it to your sd card and flashed.

Hi Bro.i have tried it the zips is not corrupt you have to extract it with winrar its okay
But when you try with 7zip it gave you an error

Dude, you have to tell them that the error doesn't mean anything
It came up for me using 7zip but it still extracts and now I'm using your ROM with no problems

Hi guys, it's been ages I haven't geeked on my phone. Should I be aware of particular problems if trying to install this rom coming from a locked Bootloader (used an exploit hack I think) + TWRP 2.8.7.0 + 5.1.1 (23.4.A.1.232) ?
Oops! /system/app/Force does not contain Force.apk, instead it contains ForceDoze_1.3.4_rev_38.apk. Also, /system/app/fix doesn't contain fix.apk but com.pyler.mobileradioactivefix.apk. Also, /system/app/Xposed. Okay, no idea if you actually use linux or Windows (I guess the latter, concidering the funny characters of your rom-zip-files that are a nuscience in any shell), but if you do use linux, here's a simple and quick script that'll make all the directories for you. Just throw all apks that goes in app in app, then run the script there. Throw what ever needs to be in priv-app in to priv-app and run the script there. Code: #!/bin/bash for file in ./*.apk do name="$(basename "$file" .apk)" mkdir -p "$name" mv "$file" "./$name" done Ah, /system/etc/customization/content/com/sonyericsson/wallpaperpicker/wallpapers conatins Thumbs.db. Click to collapse Yah, but you do realize that if you have a directory called /system/app/theme then android will look for theme.apk inside that directory? If it isn't there then the android system will go on to the next directory. If you have a file called theme-with-a-different-name.apk inside /system/app/theme, then the android system will skip that file. It's a part of google having fun making a hassle for everyone...
