I have got a stuck in the process fo creating my own customrom of my xperia x10...
I have gone according to the process... which is shown in below thread....

I have got all the files:
Boot.img
checksum.md5
config.gz
recovery.img
system.info.gz
system.tar
so i want to create a new flashable zip or new ftf files which i can flash through flashtool..

hello friends i have made minor changes to stock rom for sony ericsson xperia mini st15i (build 4.0.2.A.0.42) and i want to convert the system folder to system.sin again instead of creating flashable zip which takes unlocked boot loader...anyone has the tool for convering system folder to system.sin??? please give me the link..

can we make ftf from nandroid backup i.e., .tar to .sin then to ftf????

I was just compiling kernel for My Xperia SOLA using this thread......
And it was successfully build....:laugh:
i got some .ko modules and a zimage file in the output dir....
My question is how to combine this kernel with the boot.img image or how to create a boot.img from this file.......
I would be very happy if someone could help me out....:angel:

i have an update.app for huawei y625-u32 that i extracted it and edit and now i want to repack it to update.app for original flashing but after compress files with win-rar and rename it to original name while flashing say signature error and dont write to phone .
any one have any idea or solution for this problem?

hi guys i am struggling to unpack system.bin after extracting the stock rom with 7zip, i tried a few stock roms but it's the same, it gives an error
what's the best way to unpack tar.md5 and then extract system.img? i wish to make my own custom uk rom, could someone help me please, thank you.

I am new here and I would like to modify system.img for my phone which is XIAOMI MI A2
i can't really find any way to do that,some posts are too old,and others I understand nothing:silly:
First of all I would like to know if there is any tool available for modifying .img files
I would also appreciate if you guys could explain me how that works,I mean I just unpack and repack the image file and done,I can just flash it with TWRP?
