i9100 AOKP/AOSP ROM/KERNEL TESTS - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hy Everyone!
I just wanted to start a thread like sammy based rom/kernel kombo tests to let know for AOKP/AOSP lovers which choose is the most popular or succesful.
1.:which rom
2.:which kernel
3.:BBS stats screenshot
4.:Screen on time screenshot
(5.:your battery mAh)
I hope you guys over there are glad for this thread!
Cheers!

Hm, I'm sorry to say this, because your intentions seem to be good, but this is like a 'best rom'-thread.
If people answer your questions, their opinions are still subjective, and they depend on personal preferences and usage/tweaks/apps etc.
If you read some of the Samsung based rom-threads, you can choose for yourself, and it's the same for kernels.

ROM/Kernel results are completely subjective and vary widely depending on the individual user. "Best ROM" threads never turn out good, therefore aren't allowed. Thread closed.

Please suggest a rom to me, coming from SGS2

Hi,
I recently switched from S2 to S3. I was using a lot of roms on my S2, mostly Leomar/Checkrom and later on I swapped to cm9, because I love the look of Android 4.
Now I got hands on an S3 and to my disappointment, I have to read about a lot of problems when it comes to JB, even on stock release. The fact that Samsung didn't make use of project butter really baffled me.
So now I am looking for a rom with the following (hopefully possible) aspects (I don't care if it is aosp or stock, but I guess it has to be a stock rom):
+Fully working Bluetooth for my car audio/phone
+Smooth UI (best possible without butter on S3)
+No bloatware, but new sammy features should be working
+AOSP look/theme, if possible (master vertumus still doing his magic )
JB would be nice, but I would go with ICS too, at least until they fixed their JB rom.
OFC I recently ran over the forum pages and for me it looks like checkrom (either ICS or JB release) would be a good fit for me.
Thanks!

OP, please read up and try them out. There are numerous options I know, but each rom/kernel will perform on each phone differently and opinions will vary also. Thank you.

Best kernal and settings for longer battery life

Looking to maximize battery life on Hyperdrive rs2 for the verizon S4. Which kernal is recommended/better suited for that?
Best rom/kernel threads ate against the rulesfor good reason. There is no such thing as an across the board best. Try the available kernels and see which one gives you, and your unique phone, operating under your unique set of circumstances, the best battery life.

Thread closed as "Best" kernel for one user is not necessarily the "Best" for another.
Users are encouraged to read and determine what is best for them by reading the knowledge shared via posting.
These threads always spiral into arguments about one rom or kernel over another, and thus, trolling ensues.
Please do not post "Best Rom/Kernel" threads. Thank you

Rom Recommendation

So i swapped my rezound for the Maxx specifically for the battery life and now im looking to get the most out of it. I know when people post this they get answers like "well its s a personal preference" but i also know from my experience that there is always a "best overall rom" and i want to avoid flashing all of them to fond out. what rom would you recommend focused on STABILITY, SUPPORT, BATTERY LIFE
Best ROM threads are prohibited.
Please read the rules before posting.

There is no "best" ROM/Kernel. Head over to the development section and see which ROM/Kernel "best" suits your needs.

Fast and stable ROM

I know that such threads aren't welcomed, but friend of mine just brought me stock S III (i9300) whining that it's so slow. Since I've never flashed i9300 yet, I have absolutely no idea which ROM and kernel should I pick. Idea is to get maximum performance and stability as possible. Could you please help me with recommendation?
Hopefully mods will tolerate this thread, please consider it just as discussion to get few ideas which ROM to try for a newbie, not X versus Y.
Thanks
I tried many ROMs and for me, the best is NxTGen ROM 13.0. Not 13.1, i had some wifi issues with 13.1. The best on NxTGen 13.0 for me is, that there is really much free RAM compared to others. There is very good battery and speed is great too, but it depends on kernel settings (clocking, governors...). I reccomend you use it with latest RC1 boeffla kernel.
It isn't that this type of thread isn't welcome but against the posting rules, as they can lead to a flaming war. Try them all, don't share your conclusions.

I know, I would try at least few of them out if it was my phone and I had time for testing. But unfortunately that's not the case here, so I just hoped for some friendly ideas which option is good to go. I really don't want to disappoint him...
Mod Edit
Sorry...
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

[Q] I need sumbodeeh to help me

Hello everyone, not really new to this forum, but just created one account. xda noob. try to search all over the xda forum and googled, doesn't seems to answer my question. So, please, help me out.
SO. The question is,
i am looking for a ROM that is pure, super pure, ultra pure, without any customization for my i9100G that is running kitkat. Something like SuperNexus, but to my knowledge the project is now closed, and I am a freak person I can't live with the bug inside the rom (browser flashing bug). so is there any ROM that provide the pureness and cleanness that I am looking for?
Thanks!
Rom recommendations are forbidden here. You're expected to make a nandroid, go over to the two development sections, read some rom threads, and try out some roms. Expect mods to close this thread presently.

opps. ahhh rom recommendation....sorry.
As said before, ROM and other recommendation threads aren't allowed on XDA.
Why? Well, all the developers work really hard to bring users top-notch ROMs, and some are different from others. There could be feature packed ROMs that compromise on performance, or minimal ROMs with lagless performance, or there could be the best of both worlds. Either way, choosing one ROM over the others, for whatever reasons, can be rather disheartening to the developers who work long and hard.
What do you do now? Only you can answer that question. Flash a few ROMs, see which suits you. Who knows? You may end up happy with a ROM that could've gone unnoticed if you had got recommendations.
Happy flashing!
