It's always so much harder when you have to try (David Gray).

Great job! :good: I'm amazed how quickly you did it as a couple of hours ago I checked the poll thread and the port progress for Galaxy Note N7000 was still 0%. So I was expecting it to be done in a couple of weeks only
Thanks for your great achievement!

This is cool stuff. Thank you :thumbup:
I just installed it and have to drive 600km to Versailles... I think this can be considered a test as "daily driver"... lol

How much we have to thank you, thanks CM team, AOKP Team, Paranoid Team...etc
I want to thank u and thank every developer and helper here in xda for every thing
Thank u

I got status 7 error while trying to flash it in cwm and yes I've read everything in first post. Gonna redownload the ROM again, anyone else facing this problem or is it just me?

First of all, many thanks for all the work. Just 1 other bug to report, trying to capture a screenshot gives the following error. "Unable to capture screenshot. Storage may be in use." I am not complaining, just reporting. This is fantastic for a first build.

Great. Clean as a Whistle Me becomes flashaholic again.

OK solved the problem by downloading and flashing the one from the second link. Weird. Ok now the second problem is with root. Chainfire said that for those who have upgraded to 4.3 needs to re root.

You probably have to edit your APNs. I had to edit mine because they were not enabled for 4G.
@You who have problems installing, do you use CWM or TWRP or some other modded recovery?

On the menu button issue, I don't know what direction CM is going to take but I added logo2menu in the kernel, added the proper keyevent to the keylayout file, and changed the buttons config option to 7 (can decompile framework-res.apk or edit the source and build the ROM).
This was mainly a proof of concept for now.

Here is my review
-graphical issues across all apps
- doesn't seem to read my ext SD card or it died during flashing xd
-device seems to get bit hotter than usual
-its extremely fast and fluid
-video recording seems bit less fps then on stock ROMs.
-opens phone contracts and messaging apps very fast.
I'll try to test other features.
That's so far , its not for daily use yet (bummer xD)
Awesome job anyway

[ROM][GT-N7105][JB][4.3.0] CyanogenMod 10.2 official nightly builds // discussion

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.3 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
* cause of male impotence.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

I flashed a modded CM 10.2 from the N7100 thread to my AT&T SGH-I317 (using the port guide from the AT&T SGH-I317 forum) and this is going to be a great new rom base for us all using the t0lte (and variants like mine). Really, really quick and smooth.
I just couldn't get the phone radio working but wifi worked straight out of the box. I couldn't even add an APN. In my trials (and mostly errors) in attempting to port from the N7100 the phone radio has almost always been the issue when my ports have failed. It seems that building from source is the way to go to add proper functionality.
Since the N7105 and the SGH-I317 are virtually the same, I cannot wait for your successful CM 10.2. Until I get a build machine running I appreciate all the efforts of experts such as you!! Thank you so much for fueling my rom addiction!!

No, didn't test the battery life because I actually do need a phone from time to time.
I restored back to a working ROM after playing a bit. My phone is also my alarm clock so I needed that back, too.
I hope the battery life is as good as you are hoping.
