[ in case that the device is not widely used, and we can't find a compatible rom on the internet ]

I think you would have to compare CPU architectures, screen resolutions etc.

This way i'll compare Device to Device on ( Hardware Level ).
But if i want to know From looking to some source Code or somthing inside the ROM ( Hardware [device] / Software [ROM] level comparison ) ?
That's it, if two devices have, let say, the same CPU but different amount of RAM or screen resolution, then a ROM for one of those devices can be compatible with the other.

my clone one x it's unusable, i've flashed a wrong firmware.
I wrote several times to fastcardtech to have the firmware but they said only link wrong ... never again will buy from them, I would add that, as usual, I thought I had bought the phone with the screen 960x540 and instead is a 854x480.
however, for those who want to help, the phone is
IHTC X ONE MTK6577 Dual Core - 4.5 Inch Screen 1.2 GHz CPU Android 4.0 Phone.
the firmware that i need is e1911_v77_jbaol_g20mt9p017fwvga_6628
and the display driver is RX_445HX_495A that is scarce.
i've downloaded a lots of firmware of differnt phones that has the resolution display at 480x854.

i know sthe two links..... nothing with that driver lcm.
i've download many and many roms that has resolution 480x854 fwvga but all the uboot.img that i've tried dosen't have the correct driver(using MSDT).

Download recover X from play store, there are a lot of huawei recoveries .but which one is safe to try. Have a look for your selves and get back here with some answers. We getting close.

What about porting the KK from " Samsung I9301I Galaxy S3 Neo " ?
1. Its rom is available now
2. The difference between it & i9300 .. is the 1.5GB ram not 2GB .. as I know .. for sure you know more
3. I don't know but may be it has the same hardware

your point 3. is the problem. it would need the same cpu, but there is still confusion which cpu it has. On the samsung site itself it is only stated 1.4 ghz quadcore, but that could also be a qualcomm.
but in the german shops it is stated as exynos 4412, what would be perfect. (but they could also have misinterpret the informations about the cpu)

I've followed the whole archiport thread, and afaik no one really tried it has it could still potentially have a qualcomm/other exynos cpu what would result in bricking the phone by flashing it. and as long there are no detailed technical informations about the neo it will also not happen that someone tests it.
Well I saw the box of the Neo, and it has a 1.4Ghz CPU and not 1.2 like some say...
Edit: on this unboxing video the box is white and it says 1.2Ghz.
I saw a neo that my friend bought, it has a blue box that specifically says 1.4Ghz!

One week ago a bought an MX10 Pro. First of all i have to be really sure of his hardware. I checked with CPU-z and the cpu is not cortex A53(as described on the sellers page https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-MX10P...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649) but A7. Is not RK3229 but RK3066. The GPU is not Mali-450 but Mali-400. Are the CPU-z infos correct? How can i be sure at 100% ?
Second. When the OS is booted. If you start doing things after 30-60 seconds. You can open some apps and check settings etc. But before 30 sec the os crash and reboot. Very often it crashed after some minutes using youtube, allways crash when you navigate to a certain webs on chrome. Well. It is a crap using it. I'm searching to change firmaware. But not finding anything good. Specially if my CPU is RK3066.
I want some suggestions from you. The best way to get crashing issue from logs. And where to find working firmware.

On Gearbest website they claim the following things- 1- The processor RK3328, 2-Its Penta Core, 3- It's clocked at 1.5 ghz.
But my device which they sent has all different specs- 1-Its RK3066, 2- it's quad core, 3- The clock speed is 1.3 ghz.
I'm planning to change the rom. So
Can someone explain if I got a fake product or it's just numbers?
